House Crests are collectibles in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. They act as replacements for the minikits in those games.
Description[]
In each level, there is a crest of four types: Gryffindor (Red), Slytherin (Green), Hufflepuff (Yellow) and Ravenclaw (Blue). By collecting all four crests in a level, the player receives a Gold Brick. In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, collecting all 24 crests in all levels of an episode will allow the player to build a model related to the episode in the basement of The Leaky Cauldron. These crests also help the player reach 100%. Nothing happens in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, but they are still necessary to reach 100%.
