Hoth Escape is the seventh level in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. It is the second level of The Empire Strikes Back.

Story[]

However, the Empire still wins, so Han Solo, Princess Leia and C-3PO have to escape from Echo Base. They fight many Snowtroopers and board the Millennium Falcon.

Walkthrough[]

Echo Base South[]

You start at Echo Base South. Go to the arrow in the lower left corner to move to the next area.

In the next area, go to the lower left hallway, defeat the Snowtroopers, and then head to the lower right hallway to find an arrow that takes you to the next area.

In the next area, build a platform to the right with Han or Leia, jump across a gap, defeat two Snowtroopers, and head towards the arrow that takes you to the previous area.

Returning to the previous area, go to the lower left hallway, destroy a generator to disable a barrier, and return to the previous area for C-3PO to follow you. Back to the previous area, go to the upper right hallway, then destroy a generator in the upper left hallway to disable another barrier and build a protocol panel. Use C-3PO to open the door to the next area.

Echo Base North[]

In the next area, continue along the upper right path defeating enemies and you will come across a barrier. Build a protocol panel to the left of the barrier and use C-3PO on the panel to disable the barrier. Go to the final area of ​​the level.

Echo Base Transport Bay[]

In the final area of ​​the level, build the back of the Millennium Falcon and you will have to defeat six Snowtroopers. When you defeat all six Snowtroopers, enter the Falcon from the arrow to finish the level.

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

  • Minikit Canisters
    1. (S) You'll find this minikit floating in the top corner of the first area of ​​the level. Jump towards it to reach it (no Jedi character required).
    2. (S) You'll find this minikit in the third area, to the left of the pile of parts you use to build a platform.
    3. (S) You'll find this minikit in the right corner of the third area, near a door that leads to the other side of the second area.
    4. (S) After disabling the left barrier in the second area, use a buildable character to build a platform and then use the platform and jump to the minikit to get it.
    5. (F) After crossing to the other side in the second area, go to the lower left hallway and use a buildable character to build an astromech panel. Use an astromech droid to hack it and enter a room full of Snowtroopers. Defeat them and jump in the upper corner to reach this minikit in the air (no Jedi character required).
    6. (F) Before going to the right hallway on the other side of the second area, go to the lower right hallway and use a buildable character to build an Imperial panel. Use an Imperial member on it to enter a room full of Snowtroopers. Defeat them and jump in the upper corner to reach this minikit in the air (no Jedi character required).
    7. (S) At the beginning of the fourth area, use a buildable character to build a protocol panel. Use a protocol droid to hack it and enter a room full of Snowtroopers. Defeat them and grab this minikit in the upper corner of the room.
    8. (S) As you progress through the fourth area, you'll find this minikit floating on a platform near an X-wing. Hop on the X-wing to reach the platform and then jump to the minikit to get it (no Jedi character required).
    9. (F) Between two Y-wings in the fourth area, use a buildable character to build a Bespin panel and use Lando Calrissian on it to open the door to a room full of Snowtroopers. Defeat them and grab this minikit in the upper corner of the room.
    10. (S) You'll find this minikit in the top corner of the final area, behind a snowman.

Unlockables[]

A Snowtrooper will be available to purchase after obtaining all minikits in this level. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy Princess Leia (Hoth) and General Han Solo. You will also be able to continue to Asteroid Chase.
