Hoth Battle is the twenty-fifth level of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It is the first level of The Empire Strikes Back.

Chapter 1

HOTH BATTLE

It is a dark time for the Rebellion.

Although the Death Star has been

destroyed, Imperial troops have

driven the Rebel forces from their

hidden base and pursued them

across the galaxy.

Evading the dreaded Imperial

Starfleet, a group of freedom

fighters led by Luke Skywalker has

established a new secret base on

the remote ice world of Hoth.

The evil lord Darth Vader, obsessed

with finding young Skywalker, has

dispatched thousands of remote

probes into the far reaches of

space....

Story

The Empire dispatched many Probe Droids across the galaxy. One of them lands on the ice planet Hoth. Luke Skywalker notices it in the form of a meteorite and checks it out with his binoculars. Then, a Wampa attacked him and hanged him on the ceiling of an ice cave. Luke summoned his lightsaber an cut the Wampa's arm off. He escaped the cave and was rescued by Han Solo. The Empire identified the Rebel base and Darth Vader ordered to set the Star Destroyer's course to the Hoth system. However, they went to close to the planet and the Rebel Troopers prepared to battle the AT-ATs. They tied up the walkers and blew them up with bombs. However, Luke was hit, and jumped out of his Snowspeeder. He then threw a grenade in the AT-AT. It fell out so he kicked it back in, blowing up the walker.

Walkthrough

First, hook up to a bomb to take it to some metal objects in a cave to destroy them and move forward (remember to destroy the AT-STs and Probe Droids so they don't bother you with the bomb).

In the next area, hook up to two AT-ATs to make them fall and carry bombs to them to destroy them and ice disappear on a metal object to destroy it and carry another bomb on another to go to the end of the level.

In the final area, you have to beat four rounds of vehicles. In the hud above it will show you the vehicles you have to destroy. The first consists of destroying 11 Probe Droids, the second 11 AT-STs, the third 2 AT-ATs and the fourth and last 4 Probe Droids, 6 AT-STs and 1 AT-AT. Once you finish these rounds, the level will end.

Collectables

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

• Minikit Canisters
  1. (F) Use a TIE ship to open a door and right near some metal walls is this minikit.
  2. (F) Take a bomb right on the same metal walls that are near the previous minikit to destroy them and enter an ice cave (which is actually a double score zone) to find this minikit.
  3. (S) Use a grappling ship to drop 10 AT-STs and the minikit will spawn near the end of the area.
  4. (S) It's behind some metal walls right near the third minikit.
  5. (F) Use a TIE ship to open a door and continuing down a cave path. The minikit will be on the left.
  6. (F) Right after reaching an area by the ice cave, the minikit will be near the entrance to the previous area.
  7. (S) Do the same as the third minikit but this time in the second area.
  8. (S) It's on the right just near the metal walls that you have to destroy to continue the level.
  9. (S) Break some stones that appear near where you spawn in the final area to get this minikit.
  10. (S) Break some stones near a bomb dispenser in the final area to get this minikit.

• Self Destruct Red Power Brick
  • (F) In the area where you can get the sixth minikit, take a bomb from the previous area to destroy a metal wall and get this brick.

• Blue Minikit Canisters
  1. At the beginning of the level, use a TIE ship to open the door on the left and you will find this blue minikit on the left side over a pit.
  2. In the first area, use a tow cable ship to deliver a bomb to some silver walls behind the TIE gate to destroy them and enter a Double Score Zone. There, on the left side, you will find this blue minikit near two objects.
  3. At the end of the first area, you will find this blue minikit near the Echo Base.
  4. To the top left of the first AT-AT in the second area, use a TIE ship to open a door near a bomb generator and enter a special area. There, go to the far right to find this blue minikit.
  5. In the second special area, enter a cave and as you go through it, you will find this blue minikit on the right side.
  6. At the beginning of the second special area, use a ship with a tow cable to transport a bomb through the cave and then to the next special area. There, take the bomb to the right side to destroy some silver walls and get this blue minikit. It can be very difficult because there is an AT-AT in that area, so it is recommended to weaken the AT-AT first, but not destroy it afterwards because it would be a waste of time.
  7. In the second area, between the two AT-ATs, destroy the rocks on the right side to reveal this blue minikit.
  8. At the end of the second area, head into the small ditch on the right and at the end of it, you will find this blue minikit.
  9. At the beginning of the final area, destroy the rocks to your right to grab this blue minikit.
  10. On the right side of the final area, destroy the rocks near a bomb generator to grab this blue minikit.

Unlockables

The minikit model in this level is an AT-AT. After completing the level, you unlock a Snowspeeder. In Mos Eisley Cantina you will be able to continue to Escape from Echo Base. After collecting the Red Power Brick, you can purchase Self Destruct.
