Hogwarts is a massive hub of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7.

Areas

This hub world has almost all of the areas that appeared in the previous game, but some like the Owlery were removed due to not appearing in the last four Harry Potter films. However, this game adds some new areas that weren't in the first game, such as The Road to Hogwarts.

Collectables

Hogsmeade Station

• Gold Bricks
  1. Right at the entrance to The Road to Hogwarts, you'll see a clock above. Use Wingardium Leviosa to make it fall and destroy it to reveal this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • To save the student in this location, you must use Hermione's bag on the pink pad to take out a silver pig, which you destroy with Reducto. After that, there will be a small piece of gold - use Wingardium Leviosa to place it on the red stove.

• Tokens
  • Station Guard*
    • There are five destroyed lamps located throughout the platform. Use Wingardium Leviosa to repair them and obtain this character token.
  • Luna (Overalls)*
    • Find a silver object in the middle of the station and destroy it with Reducto. This way you will unlock a part of the cable. Then, use Wingardium Leviosa to insert it into the right place. Select an animal and enter, simultaneously pushing a broomstick. Jump on the broomstick and fly to the ceiling - you will get this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Red Brick Detector
    • On the left side of the area, use a Dark Magic character to destroy a black lock holding the Hogsmeade sign. Then turn the sign by shooting it to reveal this Red Brick. The owl is sitting a little to the left of the sign.

The Road to Hogwarts

• Student in Peril
  • Before going to the Main Gate, go left and you will find this student trapped in a chest protected by vines. Use Lumos Solem to drive away the vines and save this student.

Small Lake

• Gold Bricks
  1. Hop on one of the green swans on the lake and collect all the studs in the area to reveal this Gold Brick.

    • To enter you must destroy the silver padlock with the Reducto spell. Jump into the water - the character token is in the middle of it.

Main Gate

  • James Potter (Young)*
    • Find the orange handle just behind the school door. Use a super strength character to get this character token.
  • Luna Lovegood
    • Halfway down the path you will find a place to dig. Use a digging character to dig up colored bricks and use Wingardium Leviosa on them to form a ladder. Use them to climb the rock and collect this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Score x8
    • On the left side of the area, use Hermione's bag on a pink pad to take out a blue clothing mannequin. Use Wingardium Leviosa on it and this Red Brick will appear. Take it to the owl sitting near the entrance to Hogwarts.

Small Yard

• Student in Peril
  • Use Ron's Deluminator to grab the light from the back of the area and place it next to the student surrounded by fireflies. The fireflies will go into the light and leave this student alone.

• Red Bricks
  • Collect Ghost Studs
    • Use the Diffindo spell to cut the red part of a tree and turn it into this Red Brick. The owl is a little to the left of the tree you cut down.

The Clock Tower Square

• Gold Bricks
  1. Use a Weasley on a Weasley box to take out a box of seeds. Then use Wingardium Leviosa on it to scatter the seeds on the ground and grow a vine. Use it to reach this Gold Brick that is on top of a roof.

    • You can find three teachers here shortly during year 8. Bring them what they need and you'll get this character token.

The Courtyard of the Healing Herbology Class

• Gold Bricks
  1. All the way to the right of the entrance to the Greenhouse, use a Dark Magic character on a black plant to reveal this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • You can see one student making fun of another by pouring water on him. Shoot the bad student to stop him and save the good student.

• Tokens

    • There is a dried plant to the left of the Greenhouse entrance. Use the Aguamenti spell to water the dried flower. Then destroy it with any spell. You will get this character token.

Greenhouse

• Gold Bricks
  1. Use the Diffindo spell to cut a red wall and build a mower. Then hop on and use it to clear five spots on the ground and reveal this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • This student is trapped by a plant. Use the Aguamenti spell to fill the empty tank with water and then water the plants. After that, the student will be free.

• Tokens

    • Find a pink platform behind the red wall. Switch to Hermione and take a cactus out of her bag. Use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to place flat bricks on each of the two arms - this will create platforms. Go up and get this character token.
  • Slughorn (Young)*
    • There is a drawer behind the red wall. Open it with a Dark Magic character. Inside it, you will find this character token.

Right Wing

    • Four dried flowers hang from the arches. Use Aguamenti to water them. When they grow, destroy them. Do this four times to receive this character token.

Main Hall

• Gold Bricks
  1. Use Wingardium Leviosa on six torches to light them and reveal this Gold Brick in the center.
     1. One is on the stairs to the right.
     2. Two are near the entrance to the right.
     3. One is on the stairs to the left.
     4. Two are on the balcony above.

• Student in Peril
  • A knight's armor is on the right. When you use Wingardium Leviosa on it, a student will jump out of it.

• Tokens

    • Find a statue of a knight with a small sword (it is located on the left, just outside this place). Use Wingardium Leviosa to give it the large sword and it will drop this character token.

Outer Bailey

  1. Near Hagrid's hut, use a character with super strength to destroy a box and reveal this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • A student held by vines is near Hagrid's hut. Use Lumos Solem to free him.

• Tokens
  • Professor Grubbly-Plank*
    • Immediately after leaving the castle, you can see a large scale with several dried plants. Use Aguamenti to water them. After that, you will get this character token.
  • Bellatrix (Azkaban)*
    • There is a pink pad next to Hagrid's hut. Take out a flying pumpkin from Hermione's bag and jump on it. Follow the studs and take this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Fast Dig
    • Put on the Spectrespecs from a box to the right of the entrance to reveal invisible bricks. Then use them to build an item and reveal this Red Brick. The owl is to the left of the box where you took the Spectrespecs.

Quidditch Pitch

To enter this area, use Ron's Deluminator to grab the light from a lamp near the entrance and bring it towards the entrance of this area to open the door. You will move automatically riding broomsticks. It's okay if you lose a collectible, you can re-enter this area when the flight ends to try again.

  1. This Gold Brick is right at the end of the trenches. Stay in the middle to grab it.

    • Before the first blue stud appears, stay at the top left to get this character token.

Thestral Forest

  1. Hop on the Thestral that appears nearby and fly at the starting point to find this Gold Brick.

  • Move left and then go up to the right before reaching the river. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the tree branches and save the student.

    • Go all the way to the left to reach an overturned log. Jump from the edge to the location below and find a place to dig. Use a digging character to dig through it and find this character token.
  • Katie Bell*
    • Go all the way to the left and find a rock that can only be destroyed with a Dark Magic character. Inside, you will find a small rock. Jump on it - the rocks will stick out of the water. The character token is at the top.
  • Luna (Blue Jumper)
    • This character token is on a tree trunk, which is completely to the left of the area; simply move the branches with Wingardium Leviosa.

• Red Bricks
  • Regenerate Hearts
    • Use a character with Dark Magic to destroy the black rocks a little to the left of the starting point to reveal this Red Brick. The owl is sitting on the other side of the large log, but to get there, you will first have to destroy the plants blocking your path.

Lake

To enter this area, use Hermione's bag on a pink pad near the entrance to take out a bell. Then use Wingardium Leviosa to place the bell into place and enter this area.

  1. A little to the right of Nearly Headless Nick, you'll find a pink pad. Use Hermione's bag on it to take out a mushroom and bounce on it to reach this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • At the bottom right, you will see a student supported by black and red vines. Destroy them with a Dark Magic character.

    • Switch to a character with key and open a safe. You will find this character token.
  • Crabbe (Jumper)*
    • Find the chest located in the lower right section of the stairs. Choose a super strength character and open the chest to receive this character token.

• Red Bricks

    • Upon entering the area, use Reducto to destroy a silver statue and reveal this Red Brick. The owl is a little further down the flight of stairs.

The Grand Staircase

  1. This Gold Brick is behind the red wall you cut during the Just Desserts Level Prelude.

• Student in Peril
  • A chest with a red lock is next to a Spectrespecs box. Destroy it using the Diffindo spell and open it to save the student.

    • This character token is behind the Gold Brick.
  • Regulus Black*
    • There are two statues at the entrance to Dumbledore's office. Use Wingardium Leviosa to light the pillar on the left and then extinguish the flame with Aguamenti - you will get this character token.

    • Do the same with the pillar on the right and you will get this character token.
  • Ernie Prang*
    • There is a locker right above Dumbledore's office. After opening it with a character with book, you will get this character token.
  • Dedalus Diggle*
    • Get to the top, discover the last two flights of stairs using Aguamenti and jump the webs to the next floor. You will find this character token.

House Hallway

  1. Hit the eight house signs in the hallway with any spell to reveal this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • Find a closet to the right of the entrance to the Slytherin Dungeon. Only a person who knows the language of snakes can open it. Choose Harry and open the closet - the student will be rescued.

• Tokens
  • Blaise Zabini*
    • Go to the entrance to the Slytherin Dungeon and use a Dark Magic character to destroy the object hanging over the entrance. Build a pink pad with the received bricks and use Hermione's bag on it. She will bring out a battering ram. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the battering ram to destroy the door. Get the character token hidden behind it.
  • Fat Lady*
    • Destroy two banners hanging next to the image of the Fat Lady. Use the bricks to build two silver statues. Destroy them with the Reducto spell to reveal this character token.
  • Ron (Blue Pyjamas)
    • Use a character with book to open the locker located to the left of the entrance to Hufflepuff Tower and you will obtain this character token.

Slytherin Dungeon

You will be able to access this area when you reveal Blaise Zabini's character token. (See the previous section to find out how to obtain it.)

    • There are two large snake heads in the dungeon. The one on the left has an empty tank. Use Aguamenti to fill it and then jump on the piston next to the tank. The snake head on the right will be destroyed and this character token will appear.
  • Draco (Sweater)*
    • Use a character who knows snake language to solve the snake puzzle inside the dungeon. This will open the door - go through it and collect this character token.

Hufflepuff Dormitory

To enter this area, use a Dark Magic character in the House Hallway to destroy the door to the right of the third character token's locker.

    • Enter the dormitory and you will see dried flowers under the portrait. Hit it with your wand to make the plants start growing. As soon as they grow along the portrait, you will get this character token.
  • Neville (Tank Top)*
    • Find a chest with a silver lock. Use Reducto to destroy it. Open the chest to reveal this character token.

Ravenclaw Tower

To enter this area, use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to place a cube on top of the left shelf at the entrance. Then, use Aguamenti to extinguish the flames on the right side and a bird will come and stand on the shelf. This will raise the doors to this area.

  • To the left of the area entrance, use a Dark Magic character to destroy a black wall and rescue this student.

    • This character token is behind the Student in Peril.
  • Moaning Myrtle*
    • Destroy all the silver items inside the tower, reach the top of the stairs and destroy the last silver item in the middle. The character token will appear in the window.
  • Luna (Pink Dress)
    • Get to the top of the stairs and use Spectrespecs to find invisible bricks. Then, use them to build a knocker and place it on the door. When it knocks, the door will open - you will get this character token.

Gryffindor Common Room

• Student in Peril
  • A student surrounded by flames is standing by the fireplace. Use the Aguamenti spell to put out the flames and save him.

• Tokens
  • Ginny (Pyjamas)*
    • Use Wingardium Leviosa on the portrait hanging at the exit and then shoot the juggling character. You will get this character token.
  • McGonagall (Pyjamas)
    • Use Ron's Deluminator to grab the light next to the fireplace and move it to the portrait on the left side of the room. You will get this character token.
  • Harry (Pyjamas)
    • Use Wingardium Leviosa to throw the dart at Draco's portrait and receive this character token.
  • Hermione (Ball Gown)
    • Throw all the books off the shelf and build stairs with them. Go up the stairs and find this character token.

Gryffindor Dormitory

• Gold Bricks
  1. Use Reducto to destroy the silver covering of an object in the center of the area. Then, destroy the tops of the beds to reveal more bricks. Use them to build a rocket. It will take off, it will be destroyed and this Gold Brick will be revealed.

Entrance Hall

• Gold Bricks
  1. In the upper left corner of the room, use the Focus spell to destroy the cloud above a student and you will see him ask for a broom. Go to the bottom left corner, hit a cart to drop the broom, and take it to the student to give you this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • Use Ron's Deluminator to free the student suspended from the ceiling to the right. A lit lamp is to the left of the door to the Great Hall.

    • This character token is in the upper right corner of the room, behind a statue.
  • Ron (Green Shirt)
    • Use a Weasley on a Weasley box to get Sticky Trainers and then use them to climb the colored wall. There you will find a chest with a silver lock. Use Reducto to open it and get this character token.

  • Hogwarts Crest Detector
    • In the right hallway of the area, use a Dark Magic character to open a black drawer and reveal bricks. Then, use them to build a car. It will turn left and drop this Red Brick. The owl is on the left side of the black drawer.

The Seventh Floor Corridor

  1. Near a pillar in the left hallway, use a Dark Magic character on a black chest to open it and reveal this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • A student is trapped in a spider web to the left of the Room of Requirement. Shoot the student to save him.

• Tokens
  • Luna (Yellow Dress)
    • Find a knight statue to the left of the hallway that connects to the Entrance Hall. Use Wingardium Leviosa to destroy it and obtain this character token.
  • Vincent Crabbe
    • Head to the hallway opposite the door to the Room of Requirement. To the right you will find another knight statue. Hit it three times with magic and you'll get this character token.
  • Blaise (Black Shirt)
    • Find four pillars: two in the left hallway and two in the right hallway. When you hit each of them with magic, they will flash with light. Activate them all to receive this character token.
  • Dirk Cresswell*
    • Get to the end of the hallway and look to the right. You will find a locker. Switch to a character with book and open it to get this character token.
  • Cormac McLaggen*
    • There are four chandeliers hanging from the ceiling: two in the left hallway and two in the right hallway. Use Wingardium Leviosa to get everyone moving and get this character token.

• Red Bricks

    • Near the black chest of the Gold Brick, use Reducto to destroy a silver statue and reveal this Red Brick. Take it to the owl sitting in the right hallway.

Great Hall

  1. Use Wingardium Leviosa on three bowls to reveal chickens and get this Gold Brick:
     1. A little to the left of the bookshelf from the first character token.
     2. Almost at the end of the third table.
     3. At the first table, a little before the previous chicken.

• Student in Peril
  • To free this student, you must destroy the silver bowl on the teachers' table with Reducto.

    • Enter the hallway and go to the right. You will find a bookshelf. Use a character with book to solve the puzzle - three levitating candles will emerge from it. Knock them down to receive this character token.
  • Fat Friar*
    • First, find a plate of fruit on the table in front of the fireplace. Hit the bowl to get this character token.
  • The Bloody Baron*
    • Find rolled up tapestries hidden behind teachers' desks. Shoot the two Slytherin tapestries to unfold them and receive this character token.

• Red Bricks

    • A little to the left of the bookshelf from the first character token, you will find a black drawer. Use a Dark Magic character to open it and reveal this Red Brick. The owl is at the end of the fourth table.

Weasley's Yard

• Gold Bricks
  1. A little to the right of the third character token, use Wingardium Leviosa to pull a colored wall out of the ground and use the Sticky Trainers to climb up and reach this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • Place the missing bricks on the colored wall. You get the missing bricks after destroying the silver pieces on the same wall with Reducto. Climb up to the roof using Sticky Trainers which you can get in a Weasley box on the right. Shoot the Hufflepuff tapestry at the top to unroll it and rescue this student.

• Tokens
  • Charlie Weasley*
    • Find a colored wall to the left of the entrance. Use the Sticky Trainers on a Weasley box to the right to climb to the top and collect this character token.
  • George (OWLs)*
    • You need to get three shields and put them on the wall. The first one is buried near a cauldron, so you'll need to use a digging character to dig it up. Get the second one by unrolling the Slytherin tapestry by shooting it. The last one is obtained by using Lumos Solem on the vines located next to the fountain. Place them in the correct places to receive this character token.
  • Fred (OWLs)*
    • Find a small tank next to the fountain. Fill it with water using Aguamenti and take this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Super Strength
    • A little to the left of the third character token, behind a window, use a Dark Magic character to destroy a black object and reveal this Red Brick. The owl is under the Gold Brick.

Weasley's Warehouse

• Student in Peril
  • Destroy the door to the right of the room with a Dark Magic character to save this student.

• Tokens
  • Arthur (Torn Suit)
    • Cast any spell to open the black and white cabinet to the right of the room and find this character token.
  • Argus Filch*
    • Find the cabinet on the left. Use a character with book to open it and get this character token.

Library

To enter this area, use the Aguamenti spell to fill the tank near the door at the top of the stairs to the left of the Entrance Hall to open it.

• Gold Bricks
  1. Use Wingardium Leviosa to place five yellow books on their respective shelves and reveal this Gold Brick:
     1. The first one is near the first window.
     2. Between the first and second windows, use Wingardium Leviosa with a brush to remove the yellow book from a spider web and place it on its shelf.
     3. Between the second window and Nearly Headless Nick, use Wingardium Leviosa to fix a broken pipe. Then, use an animal to enter the tube and climb up to drop this yellow book.
     4. Near the door with the first character token and the Red Brick, use a character with book to solve a puzzle on a locker. Then, shoot the glass that comes out of the locker to make it big and use Wingardium Leviosa to place it in its respective place. The mage on the right will give you this yellow book.
     5. At the far right of the area, build a rolling shelf to reveal this yellow book.

• Student in Peril
  • Use Hermione's bag on the pink pad located on the right. Take out a kiddie pool and use the Aguamenti spell to fill it with water so the student can jump off the chandelier.

• Tokens

    • Switch to a Ravenclaw Student and approach the large portrait at the end of the hallway. This will reveal a red wall. Use Diffindo to cut it and build a large key and then use it on the door next to the portrait with Wingardium Leviosa. Behind the door you will find this character token.
  • Madam Irma Pince*
    • Use a Dark Magic character on the large black chest in the middle of the library. Use the bricks to build a fan and jump on it. Get to the top and get this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Fall Rescue
    • This Red Brick is under the first character token. (See above for more information.) Take it to the owl near the entrance to this area.

Classrooms Corridor

• Gold Bricks
  1. Use a Spectrespecs box to grab a pair of Spectrespecs to find some invisible bricks by the gate. This will allow you to build two statues that you can place on their respective nearby pedestals to obtain the Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • Find a cabinet located to the right of the entrance to the potions class. Destroy the lock with Reducto and use Wingardium Leviosa to open it and free the student.

• Tokens
  • Hermione (Cardigan)
    • Find a chess board at the top right. Use Wingardium Leviosa to finish the game and receive this character token.

Atrium

  • Ron (Red Sweater)
    • Use Wingardium Leviosa to give the sword to a knight statue and wait for it to finish its animation before it gives you this character token.

Diffindo Class

• Gold Bricks
  1. This Gold Brick is behind the red wall you cut during the Kreacher Discomforts Level Prelude.

• Student in Peril
  • The student is wrapped in a Slytherin tapestry. To get to this place, you need to reach the upper level of the room and hit the blue and yellow decorations with the letter H. Jump on the platforms created by the decorations and open the green tapestry by shooting it.

• Tokens
  • Hannah Abbott*
    • You get this character token after building a stage for the choir with invisible bricks. The Spectrespecs are between the desks on the right.
  • Justin Finch-Fletchley*
    • This character token is on the red vacuum cleaner - destroy the device to make it appear.
  • Professor Flitwick*
    • You get this character token after adding water to the aquarium located on the upper floor with the Aguamenti spell. After filling it, you will see a hoop - lift it above the aquarium with Wingardium Leviosa. The fish will jump through the hoop - this will generate this character token.

Aguamenti Class

  1. This Gold Brick is hidden on the right side of the seats.

• Student in Peril
  • Get to the end of the room and you will find a student surrounded by flames. Use the Aguamenti spell to put out the flames and save him.

• Tokens
  • Lavender Brown*
    • Destroy the statue holding the container to obtain this character token. This will require patience.
  • Cho Chang*
    • On the second floor of the area, use Ron's Deluminator to grab the light from a lamp and bring it to a lamp on top of a headless knight statue to make the vines release its head. Then, use Wingardium Leviosa to place the head on the knight statue and wait for it to finish its animation so it will give you this character token.

First Lesson Room

• Gold Bricks
  1. You will find the Gold Brick at the beginning of the room under the spiral staircase.

• Student in Peril
  • The student can be found hanging from the balcony. Hit him with any spell.

    • Go to the chest at the end of the hallway and switch to a character who can use Dark Magic. Raise the chest - inside, you will find this character token.

    • Build a dinosaur skeleton using the bricks that fell from the chest. After that, you will get this character token.

    • To get the Red Brick, you must destroy the padlock hanging from the horse's skeleton - you need a character with Dark Magic. Use any spell on the skeleton. It will kick the locker behind it and the Red Brick will appear. Take it to the owl near the door in this area.

Elixir Class

  • A student trapped in a spider web is next to the cabinet with the snake puzzle. Hit the student by casting a spell to free him.

      1. The first one is on the first table on the left side.

Round Courtyard

To enter this area, go to the right side of the Classrooms Corridor and use the Diffindo spell to cut through a red wall. Then, build a red statue with the received bricks to destroy a door.

  1. There are invisible bricks in the center. Find Spectrespecs on the left. Build a flower with the invisible bricks - it will start to spin. Jump into the airstream to reach this Gold Brick.

• Student in Peril
  • A student hangs to the right of the Divination Classroom. Use the Aguamenti spell on the dry plants below that student to save him.

• Tokens
  • Neville (Waiter)
    • The same as the Gold Brick.
  • Ginny (Dress)
    • Find three hanging planters: two at the entrance and one above the door leading to the Astronomy Tower. There are flowers hidden under the baskets. Place these flowers in place and then shoot all the hanging pots. You will get this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Invincibility
    • A little to the left of a bench, use the Aguamenti spell to water a plant. Then, destroy it to reveal this Red Brick. The owl is a little to the right of the lower bench.

Astronomy Tower

To enter this area, go to the right door in the Round Courtyard and use Hermione's bag on a pink pad to pull out a handle. Use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to place the handle on the door and open it.

  • Enter the separate room. Find a snake puzzle and solve it using a character who knows snake language to save the student.

    • Find a red globe on the left. Use Diffindo to destroy it and get this character token.
  • Grindelwald (Young)
    • Go to the back of the tower and find a cabinet. Switch to a character with book and solve the puzzle to open the cabinet. Inside it, you will find this character token.
  • Professor McGonagall
    • Switch to a character with key and open a safe. Some bricks will fall. Use them to build a lamp. Use Ron's Deluminator to remove the light from it. On the left you will find a portrait. Place the light next to it and you will get this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Fast Magic
    • Destroy five red objects on the edges of the area using a Dark Magic character to reveal this Red Brick in the center. The owl is on the left side of the area.

Divination Classroom

  1. This Gold Brick is on the right side of the area, under the balcony with a Spectrespecs box.

• Student in Peril
  • Go to the top left of the area and you will find many cups. Destroy them with a single shot to save the student.

• Tokens
  • Professor Trelawney*
    • Find a deposit on the left. Use Aguamenti to fill it with water and receive this character token.
  • Neville (Pyjamas)
    • Go up a little near the entrance and you'll see three large cups above. Destroy them by casting any spell on them and build a giant cup to reveal this character token.

• Red Bricks
  • Character Token Detector
    • Use a character with Dark Magic to destroy a black object on the stairs to the right and reach a Spectrespecs box. If you don't have a character with Dark Magic, you can use Wingardium Leviosa on a table near the Gold Brick to place it inside a box. Then, get on the table and use it to reach the balcony. Once on the balcony, put on the Spectrespecs and go left to find invisible bricks. Use them to build a large round table and shoot it to reveal this Red Brick on top. Take it to the owl that is a little to the left of the box where you put the table.
