You Need a Uniform, Chase[]
- [A Construction Foreman brings a toolbox to Bobby]
- Construction Foreman: Are you sure you turned the power off?
- Bobby Hammer: [on screen] Yeah, the light went red on the fuse box. [off-screen] Oh, by the way, my doctor told me I was color blind this morning...
- [The Construction Foreman is electrocuted by the machine's electricity.]
- Construction Foreman: Ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow! [He falls near Albert]
- Albert Spindlerouter: [on screen] Rargh! Are you stupid? Somebody! Get him to the chopper... I mean hospital! [off-screen] Now who's going to cover his shift?!
- [Chase enters the construction site]
- Construction Worker 1: Not me.
- Miles Rebar: No way.
- Construction Worker 2: I can't help.
- Rod Stanchion: No way.
- Chase McCain: How about me?
- Albert Spindlerouter: [on screen] You are plumbing a water main, not saving the world, dummkopf! Ergch! Fine, you'll need a uniform. [off-screen] You! Give him your clothes, your helmet and your hammer.
- Chase McCain: Whoa! It's okay... I'll find another one.
Looking for the Construction suit[]
- [Albert jumps down from the ledge where he is]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Hey! You'll need to move that barrel! Push it over by that cone an' stuff.
- Chase McCain: I gotta figure out who my contact is in this place...
- [After pushing the barrel]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Hurry and get through the door! Don't you have a crowbar?
Work in the First Courtyard[]
- [If the player approaches one of the construction workers]
- Construction Worker 1: My back is hurting from carrying around bricks all day!
- Construction Worker 2: Have ya' been liftin' from the knees?
- Construction Worker 1: No, from the construction site.
- Construction Worker 3: I can't wait to have a cup a' Joe...
- [After getting the Construction suit]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Listen! Fix that fuse box! I don't need any more...collateral damage.
- [If the player takes too long to fix the electrical box]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Don't worry about smashing that crate, it's expendable. Hit the fuse box with your hammer.
Rex's Plan[]
- [After repairing the electrical box, Eddie comes through the roof and mistakes Chase for Jimmy]
- Eddie JoJo: That you, Jimmy? I got a message from Rex. He wants you to get a crane from this place. Gotta go! [He leaves]
- Chase McCain: Well that was to the point.
Work in the Second Courtyard[]
- [When opening the gates that lead to the second courtyard]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Ergch! That gate needs repairing, did you not hear it jingle all the way?
- [When getting off the steamroller]
- Chase McCain: That steamroller was fun, but have you got something a bit bigger I can drive? Like a, ooh, crane?
- Albert Spindlerouter: Trust you with a crane?! Haha! You look like a girlie-man!
- Chase McCain: Thanks.
- Albert Spindlerouter: Show me you're a real construction worker. Fix the hoist controls over there! I think some other girlie-man left the parts in that pool.
- [If the player approaches one of the construction workers]
- Construction Worker 4: I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT! USING A PNEUMATIC DRILL ALL MY LIFE HASN'T AFFECTED ME AT ALL!
- Construction Worker 5: I keep hittin' my hand with my hammer! I'm gonna try something different. Like hittin' my foot.
- Construction Worker 6: How's the project going?
- Construction Worker 7: Well, the first floor has gone great. But the second floor? That's another story.
- Construction Worker 6: The foreman reminds me of somebody...
- [After drilling all four ventilation floors, Albert can say this if the player is slow to find the crane parts]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Well? Have you found those parts yet? Find the parts! [Shout]
Climbing the Building Under Construction[]
- [When pulling the yellow lever]
- Chase McCain: Isn't anyone else doing any work here?!
- Albert Spindlerouter: Oh, I'm sorry if this seems like a raw deal.
- [Upon reaching the silver wall]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Who built that wall there!? Idiots! Use explosives to get rid of it!
- [If the player takes too long to destroy the silver wall]
- Albert Spindlerouter: C'mon! C'mon! Don't you understand a simple command? Oh? No reply? Good!
- [Upon reaching the non-functioning elevator]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Oh no! The elevator won't work! Fix the fuse box above it!
- [If the player approaches one of the construction workers]
- Construction Worker 8: Glad I remembered my hard-hat today... I can still feel where that brick landed on me...
- Construction Worker 9: How do I tell them that I don't like coffee? I mean, if I tell them that I like Earl Grey tea, will they fire me? I think my cousin was fired from the police force for not liking donuts... That or stealin' a computer.
- [Upon reaching the elevator after making it work]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Don't you know how to use an elevator?
- [When finding fire on the third floor]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Put the fire out - wait a second?! Why is the building even on fire?! Which stupid set the building on fire?!
- [When revealing the green valve to deactivate the poisonous gases]
- Albert Spindlerouter: Shut off the gas valve! Use your strength!
- [Upon reaching the room with the boarded up door]
- Albert Spindlerouter: What's the matter? Can't you bash open a door? Are you a girlie-man?
Recovering the Key[]
- [Upon encountering Bobby Hammer in the second area]
- Bobby Hammer: Aw, c'mon! There's gotta be a spare around here...
- Chase McCain: Something I can help with?
- Bobby Hammer: Doubt it. I dropped the key to the gate shed and the guard dog ran off with it.
- Chase McCain: Can't you just take the key back off of it?
- Bobby Hammer: Oh, yeah, sure! Oh, no, wait. I actually wanted to keep both my hands.
- [If the player takes a while to recover the key]
- Bobby Hammer: I wish I hadn't eaten my lunch. Then I might've been able to lure that dog out of his kennel.
- [When finding the bone]
- Chase McCain: Getting this crane better lead me straight to Rex...
Key Recovered[]
- [When recovering the key]
- Bobby Hammer: You got the key! You just saved my neck, buddy. Go on! Use it to get into the gatehouse!
Building a Crane[]
- [Upon reaching the courtyard on the left in the second area]
- Werner Spindlerouter: Oh! There you are!
- Chase McCain: Wuh? How did you -
- Werner Spindlerouter: I'm not Albert, I'm Werner, his twin.
- Chase McCain: Oh! Huh. I thought you'd look different.
- Werner Spindlerouter: So, you want to drive a crane?
- Chase McCain: Yes!
- Werner Spindlerouter: Then you better build it, first.
- Chase McCain: Aw!
- Werner Spindlerouter: C'mon! Build it!
- [When approaching the Super Build]
- Chase McCain: Hmm... Do I have enough bricks for that Super Build? I think I might...
Do You Know How to Operate a Crane?[]
- [After building the crane]
- Werner Spindlerouter: Think you can drive a crane? Well then prove it!
Stealing the Crane[]
- [When getting on the crane]
- Werner Spindlerouter: Get the crane over to that building! Hurry!
- [Upon arrival at the designated place]
- Werner Spindlerouter: Use the crane to pick up the pipes. I could pick them up with my bare hands. Haha! Exactly.
- [When lifting a pipe]
- Werner Spindlerouter: Put it in the right trench! Don't make mistakes, we can't use an eraser.
- [When placing a pipe in its respective trench]
- Werner Spindlerouter: Now, do the other ones!
- Chase McCain: Are you going somewhere?
- Werner Spindlerouter: Don't worry. I'll be back. [He leaves]
- Chase McCain: I hope you don't mind if the crane isn't here when you return... Because I'm going to use it to pick up Rex. With the very long arm of the law... Huh... That one wasn't too bad.
- [Upon reaching the right side with the crane]
- Eddie JoJo: You got the crane, Jimmy! Great, Rex'll be real happy.
- Chase McCain: [Imitating Jimmy's voice] Yeah. Let's go drive this to wherever Rex is.
- Eddie JoJo: Haha! You're such a kidder, Jimmy! We're usin' the crane to get something else! I'll open the gate so ya can get it outta here.
Imitating Jimmy[]
- [Chase drives the crane out of the construction site and stops it]
- Eddie JoJo: Get outta the crane, Jimmy.
- Chase McCain: [Imitating Jimmy's voice] Er, sure. Just gimme a second!
- [Chase uses a cardboard box with a happy face painted on it to try to imitate Jimmy so Eddie won't recognize him]
- Chase McCain: [Imitating Jimmy's voice] Hey, there!
- Eddie JoJo: Thanks. I gotta drive it up to the observatory. Stay here and see if anyone follows me. I get the feeling someone might try and infiltrate the gang tonight.
- [Chase turns his cardboard box over and paints a surprised face]
- Chase McCain: [Imitating Jimmy's voice] No!
- Eddie JoJo: Yeah!
- [Chase turns around his cardboard box again and paints an angry face]
- Chase McCain: [Imitating Jimmy's voice] Grr!
- Eddie JoJo: [He drives the crane] Meet me up there in ten minutes!
- Chase McCain: [With his own voice] Sure! [Imitating Jimmy's voice] Sure! [With his own voice again] I am brilliant at disguises!
- [Eddie crashes the crane into buildings]
- Eddie JoJo: Agh! Of all the days to leave my glasses at home!
- Chase McCain: Oh...
- [The level ends]
Story[]
Chase doesn't find out Rex's hideout, but he does get to replace the goon at a construction site, gaining the final disguise, the Construction Worker.
Walkthrough[]
Level Prelude[]
You access this level when you go to the construction site in Paradise Sands to steal a crane. (Look here for more information.)
Level Walkthrough[]
You start in the first courtyard of the construction site. Albert will ask you to push a barrel in the upper left corner. Push the barrel and use the Robber suit to open the shed where you will find a closet. Open it to unlock Chase McCain (Construction), thus obtaining all the suits. With the Construction suit, repair an electrical box next to the closet to open a box with a red panel. Eddie will come in through the roof and, while mistaking you for Jimmy, will ask you to steal a crane from Rex. Go to the bottom right corner and destroy a large box to build a space box. Use the Astronaut suit on it to open it and reveal some bricks. Use them to build a color swapper with the color green. Use it to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from purple to green. Then, use the green color of your Color Gun to change the color of the panel you revealed from red to green. This will open the gates guarding a steamroller. Get on the steamroller and use it to step on a large pressure plate in the upper right corner. This will open the gates that will take you to the second courtyard.
In the second courtyard, you will have to use the Construction suit to drill four ventilation floors. These ventilation floors will cause the water in the central pond to begin to decrease. The first ventilation floor is to the left of the pond. Stand on it with the Construction suit and hold the attack button to drill it. After drilling it, press the action button to make a hole and a geyser comes out, draining the water from the pond. The second ventilation floor is to the lower left of the pond. Destroy the objects above it, drill it and make a hole in it. The third ventilation floor is south of the pond. Destroy the objects above it, drill it and make a hole in it. The fourth and final ventilation floor is to the right of the pond. Destroy the objects above it, drill it and make a hole in it. After drilling and making holes in all four floors of vents, the pond water will be drained. Go to the now empty pond and destroy a large box to reveal a space box. Use the Astronaut suit on it to open it and reveal some pieces in the upper right corner of the courtyard. Climb the stairs on the right to exit the pond and use the pieces to build a mechanism. Then, pull a yellow lever to make a hanging platform drop a box, revealing some pieces. Use them to build a staircase that will take you to the first floor of a building under construction.
On the first floor of the building under construction, go left and you will find a silver wall blocking your way. Use the Undercover suit to go down a ladder and use the ladder to reach the right side of the second floor. There, walk over a blue and white border to reach the floor on the right. On that floor, use the Robber suit to open a door and in the room behind it, use the Miner suit on a dynamite vending machine to receive a dynamite. Grab the dynamite and place it in a barrel next to the silver wall on the first floor. Move away from the dynamite and it will explode, destroying the silver wall and allowing you to reach an elevator. However, the elevator does not work. To make it work, go left, slide under a gap, and use the Undercover suit to reach the left side of the second floor. On that floor, go right and use the Construction suit to repair an electrical box. This will make the elevator work. Go down the hole to your right and pull a lever on the elevator to make it go up and reach the third floor. There, go left and you will find fire blocking your path. Use the Fireman suit to put it out and then use the Farmer suit on a red pot to grow a plant that you can use as a wall. Climb it to reach the fourth floor. There, walk on a blue walkway, jump over the gap you dropped down, and continue to the right until you find poison gas blocking your path. If you touch it, it will kill you instantly. Go down a gap to reach a room on the third floor, where you will have to destroy a red object and turn a green valve to deactivate the poisonous gases. With the poison gases disabled, use a ladder to return to the fourth floor and jump right to reach a room on the third floor. There, use the Fireman suit to open a boarded up door that will take you to the next area.
In the next area, go down a pipe to reach a container and exit it. You'll find Bobby Hammer, who will tell you that a guard dog stole the shed key by dropping it. To get it back, use the Miner suit to destroy a black rock next to the doghouse to reveal a question mark scanner symbol. Use the Undercover suit on it to find a bone covered in dog poop to the south. Grab it and place it in a bowl so that the dog can eat the bone and stop guarding the key. Grab the key, place it in a lock, and turn it to open the shed door. Inside the shed, pull a yellow lever to open the gates leading to the courtyard on the left. In the courtyard on the left, you will find Werner, a twin of Albert. He will tell you that you can operate a crane if you use 40,000 bricks to build one. If you don't have more than 40,000 bricks, look for Super Bricks. Climb the ledges in the upper left corner to find a large Super Brick inside a shed. Use the Robber suit to open the shed and grab it, increasing your bricks by 10,000. After grabbing it, go to the courtyard on the right to find a pile of black rocks in the center. Destroy them with the Miner suit to reveal a question mark scanner. Then, use the Undercover suit on it to find some bricks in a buried trapdoor in the bottom right corner. Use them to build an RC excavator, which you must control by pressing the action button from a designated place. With the RC excavator, go to one of the four piles of trash and press the attack button to dig it up. The first pile of trash is to the upper left of a ventilation floor; the second one in the center of the courtyard; the third one in the upper right corner and the fourth one in the upper left corner. One of them will have a large Super Brick. Grab it to increase your bricks by 10,000. In the south, you will see a large Super Brick in the air. Use the Construction suit to drill a ventilation floor and make a hole for a geyser to emerge that allows you to reach this large Super Brick, obtaining 10,000 more bricks. On the right side of the courtyard, use the Construction suit to drill another ventilation floor and make a hole for a geyser to come out that will allow you to reach the other side. On the other side of the courtyard, destroy all the objects on a hill to make a large Super Brick appear on the ledge to the left. It is recommended to do this with the pneumatic hammer from the Construction suit. When the large Super Brick appears, use a ladder to reach the ledge and grab it, getting 10,000 more bricks.
With all those four large Super Bricks you grabbed, you should have 40,000 bricks. When you have more than 40,000 bricks, go to the courtyard on the left, stand on the multicolored pad and use the 40,000 bricks to build an Industrial Crane. After building the crane, get on it and drive it to the designated spot in the courtyard on the right. When you get there, you will have to lift three pipes and place them in their respective trenches. Go to a pipe and when you see the green frame, press the attack button to pick it up. Then, place it in the trench that has the color that matches the pipe. The red pipe goes to the left, the yellow one to the middle and the green one to the right. By placing the three pipes in their respective trenches, the gates on the right will open. Take the crane to the right and you will talk to Eddie. When you finish talking to him, he will open the gates for you to finish the level.

Trivia[]
- In the first area, it is unknown how Eddie could confuse Chase with Jimmy, since Chase is not seen with a cardboard box or anything that imitates Jimmy.
- On the right side of the second area, the player can destroy an object with blue and orange bricks to build the Traveller's Tales logo.
