Gotham City is the hub world of LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. It is also the first open world in the LEGO games made by TT Games.

Summary

Being the first open world in the series, it is so large that it contains many collectables. The map also has dark fog and can only be removed through Remote Terminals. Once the dark fog dissipates, a boss will also be revealed and upon defeating it, the player will be able to purchase it in exchange for studs. Gold Bricks, Red Bricks, Vehicles, Enemy Goons, and Gold Doors to reveal characters can also be found scattered around the open world.

Purchasables

• Goon Characters
  • Unlike character remains, you won't find one of these in one specific location, but rather you will find them in many places. When you find a group of these, kill member by member until one gives up and allows you to buy it. The best locations to find a group of goons are shown below:
    • Clown Goon*
      • The best place to unlock this character is in Gotham Funland Entrance. He costs 50,000 studs.
    • Mime Goon
      • The best place to unlock this character is in the Botanic Gardens parking lot. He costs 75,000 studs.
    • Riddler Goon*
      • The best place to unlock this character is in Gotham Park, near the area's Remote Terminal. He costs 30,000 studs.
    • Two-Face Goon*
      • The best place to unlock this character is in Arkham Asylum. He costs 25,000 studs.
    • LexBot*
      • The best place to unlock this character is at the top of Wayne Tower. It costs 50,000 studs.
