Geonosian Factory Rescue is the eighth level in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game. It is the third and final level of Attack of the Clones.
Story[]
Upon arriving at the Droid Factory, Padmé Amidala becomes trapped in a giant trash can, Anakin Skywalker is knocked unconscious, and R2-D2 is tasked with saving them. With the help of a protocol droid, R2-D2 manages to save Anakin, and the next one saves Amidala. The heroes then rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi and enter Count Dooku's Chamber. The heroes split in two, leaving Anakin and Obi-Wan to fight Dooku. However, Dooku uses his Electric Forces to knock out the Jedi, but is then confronted by Yoda. Yoda manages to defeat Dooku, but then creates a distraction for him and escapes on his Solar Sailor. Fortunately, Yoda saves the knocked out Jedi before they are crushed by a tower.
Walkthrough[]
Rescue Party[]
At the beginning of the level, Amidala will be trapped in a giant trash can, Anakin will be unconscious, and you will have to save them with R2-D2. The area will be full of enemies, so you will have to hover up to platforms to get between them. The studs form arrows to indicate where you have to hover. When you reach a platform where there is a protocol droid, stay still so your energy recharges, buy a super jetpack and reach the higher ledges. Go right, hack a panel to rescue Anakin, carefully pass by the robotic arms and press Select to switch to Anakin. Continue the path, defeat a Geonosian and use the Force on an object to turn it into a mechanism and save Amidala. Go down the stairs behind the barrier, press Select to switch to Amidala, defeat all the enemies in the area, and use Amidala's blaster to destroy the blue ovals and open the door to the next area.
Assembly Line[]
In the next area, defeat three Geonosians and use R2-D2 to hack a panel and disable a barrier. Go down the ledge and the level will become like the Geonosian Droid Factory level, only this time there are no buttons near the barrier on the far right, but rather a panel near the barrier on the lower ledge. Hack it with R2-D2, go down the ledge and go left to find an arrow that will take you to the next area.
Search for Dooku[]
In the next area, it will feel like the second area of the previous level, but with some differences. The buttons are now on the lower turret and you will have to press them in order for their lights to turn yellow. First the top button, then the left one, then the bottom one and finally the right one. The next room no longer contains buttons. Instead, to deactivate the barrier on the left, you will have to go to the place where you would find the fourth Death Star Plan from the previous level and use R2-D2 to reach a platform. When you reach the platform, hack the panel to reveal three buttons near the barrier. Then, step on the three buttons to deactivate the barrier. After reaching the next room normally, there will be a barrier on the left. Use Anakin's Force to build a cart in the center, get on it and use the Force on it to move it. Use the cart to get on a platform and switch to R2-D2 to hack a panel. Then, hover to the upper platform of the room with the same character and hack another panel to disable the barrier. When you reach the room where the previous level ended, this time the level will not end. Use Anakin's Force on rubble to turn them into a platform and use the platform to climb to the ledge above and reach the arrow that will take you to the final area of the level.
Dooku's Chamber[]
In the final area of the level, Amidala and R2-D2 will be replaced by Obi-Wan. Go right and then down to see a cutscene where Dooku knocks out the Jedi duo. However, you don't lose when Yoda arrives to fight Dooku. The battle will be a boss fight. He will use his Electric Forces to take you down and you will also have to be in a saber duel when you attack him. You will have to hold down the B button as quickly as you can. If the bar in the lower right corner of the screen is blue, you will deal damage to him. If Dooku has his hands down, it means he will perform an Electric Force attack. If you see him do that, quickly run away and attack him again. Debris will also fall from the ceiling, so be careful. Defeat Dooku by removing his entire health bar displayed below him to finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
To get all the collectibles in this level, you will need Darth Maul or Darth Vader. It is recommended to purchase Darth Maul as he costs 3,000 studs and can be purchased after finishing Return to Naboo Forest.
- Death Star Plans
- (F) To the right of the starting point in the first area, you will find rubble. Use Darth Maul or Darth Vader to turn the rubble into a platform and use the platform to reach the very high platforms with this Death Star Plan.
- (S) After passing the first barrier in the second area, go down the left hallway to find this Death Star Plan at the starting point of the previous level.
- (S) After passing the second barrier in the second area, go up the stairs on the right to find this Death Star Plan.
- (S) This Death Star Plan is in the same place as the fifth Death Star Plan from the previous level, only this time there are no enemies to close the door on you.
- (S) You'll find this Death Star Plan on the left side of the room with the cart.
Unlockables[]
After completing the level, you will be able to purchase Yoda. After obtaining all the Death Star Plans, Yoda will tell you the following code: Start, Start, →, ↓, →, ↓, ←, ↑. This is the same code that Yoda tells you after obtaining all the Death Star Plans in Geonosian Droid Factory. You will also have completed Episode II, which causes Yoda to tell you the following code: L, R, L, ↓, ↑, R, R, →, ←, ↓, →, →, Select. When you enter it in the pause menu, you'll be able to activate Sheep Mode, which makes each character make sheep noises.
