General Grievous is the second episode in LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.
Story[]
Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka, Captain Rex, R3-S6 and two Clone Troopers go to Skytop Station on Ruusan Moon to save R2-D2. Anakin and the two Clone Troopers split up to find R2-D2, while Ahsoka, Captain Rex, and R3-S6 go to plant bombs to destroy the station. Placing nine bombs, Rex is electrocuted by R3-S6 and he, along with Ahsoka, realize that he is friends with General Grievous. When Rex and Ahsoka are separated, Grievous thinks about who to follow one of the two. When Grievous is about to be defeated, he quickly escapes before Ahsoka kills him, but then she plants a bomb on the door he closed. Meanwhile, Anakin repairs R2-D2 to activate all the bombs they had planted. This also blows up the door for Ahsoka to escape. Anakin and R2-D2 open another door and go through it to find Rex. Anakin calls out to The Twilight, but the hangar door closes and the elevator descends with the ship. R2-D2 realizes that R3-S6 is the culprit and goes after him, but is thrown off the platform. Luckily, Ahsoka arrives through a conduit to help her friends. R2-D2 returns to the platform where R3-S6 is and fights him while chasing him to the station walkway. The Jedi build Anakin's Jedi Starfighter and use it to destroy the walkway. R2-D2 grabs the walkway just in time, but R3-S6 falls off and is destroyed. R2-D2 jumps towards The Twilight and then falls, but just then, Anakin saves him using his starfighter. The Skytop Station ends up being destroyed.
While traveling back to the Resolute, Plo Koon notices the Malevolence approaching. As the Malevolence continues to harass the Republic fleet, Anakin Skywalker decides it is time to fight back. Finally, they manage to set the Malevolence on fire, causing it to explode little by little. Those who travel in ships return to the Resolute.
Padmé Amidala and her droid companion C-3PO travel through hyperspace in an H-type Nubian Yacht. They eventually reach the Malevolence, where the ship draws them in and forces Padmé to contact Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to save them. The two Jedi, along with R2-D2, manage to find Padmé and C-3PO, but become separated. A Vulture Droid crashes and destroys the Malevolence's windows, so Obi-Wan destroys it and R2-D2 uses a panel to cover the windows. When Obi-Wan and R2-D2 open an elevator entrance, General Grievous steps out and closes the door, so Obi-Wan pulls the levers to open it. The duo eventually escapes from Grievous via the elevator. Meanwhile, Anakin, Padmé, and C-3PO aim the Malevolence at the Dead Moon of Antar. After surviving a large horde of enemies, the trio finally uses an elevator to reunite with Obi-Wan and R2-D2. The quintet manages to escape the Malevolence before it crashes and return to the Resolute, but Grievous escapes in his starfighter called the Soulless One.
Kit Fisto arrives at Vassek, where Nahdar Vebb, Commander Fil and an Heavy Weapons Clone Trooper were also waiting for him. Entering a castle, they try to sneak up on a hologram of Nute Gunray, but it soon turns into a hologram of Count Dooku, who informs the group that although they can't get Gunray, he will offer them an alternative prize. After opening a door using parts of a fake Grievous, they find the real one. When two of his arms are removed, he makes the ceiling fall using his two remaining arms, but the two Jedi, Fil and the clone force him to flee. While Grievous is repaired by a medical droid named EV-A4-D, he calls upon his pet Gor to fight those who cut off both of his arms. Gor eventually kills Fil and the clone, but Fisto and Vebb survive and kill him. Grievous is finally repaired and decides to take revenge on his deceased pet. On the south landing pad, R6-H5 is called to meet him, but Grievous comes with a vengeance. When R6-H5 arrives with his starfighter, Vebb sacrifices himself for Fisto because the starfighter is only for one. Shocked by his friend's death, Fisto escapes and returns to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
Cody and Rex arrive and land on Rishi Moon, where they find a Commando Droid disguised as a clone. As they shoot him, they realize they have been tricked and several Commando Droids attack them. They decide to go under the walkway, where they save Echo, Hevy, and Fives from a Rishi Eel. When they enter the base and a Landing Craft arrives with many Battle Droids, the quintet uses Plunk Droids to try to destroy the base. To activate the explosives, Hevy grabs a remote control, only for it to then break. Therefore, instead of following his companions, Hevy decides to sacrifice himself to activate the explosives and destroy the base. Alerted, the Republic fleet jumps into the system and Grievous is forced to retreat as he is outgunned. A Republic Gunship arrives to return the quartet without Hevy to the Resolute.
Grievous' destroyer boards Master Eeth Koth's Resolute and Grievous enters the ship with his boarding party, which included Commando Droids. When Eeth Koth defeats Grievous, a MagnaGuard behind him electrocutes him, allowing Grievous to capture him. Upon reaching Grievous's destroyer, the destroyer attracts the Resolute, so Anakin and Adi Gallia use a Jedi shuttle to enter a different side than Obi-Wan and a Clone Trooper. Finally, the two Jedi free Eeth. Adi decides to separate from Anakin and Eeth to search for Obi-Wan. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan and a Clone Trooper fight Grievous to the docking tube. In the docking tube, Adi and Obi-Wan fight Grievous, but a missile destroys the docking tube. Fortunately, the two Jedi along with a Clone Trooper are saved and scale the destroyed docking tube to pursue Grievous, but he escapes via a Landing Craft. Knowing that the destroyer is about to destroy, the trio opens the hangar doors for Anakin to come save them. Before boarding the Jedi Shuttle, Eeth decides to drink coffee, but the ship's door closes before he can drink it. Eeth is sad that he couldn't have his coffee, but Obi-Wan decides to share his, making him happy. As the Republic returns to the Resolute, a collision with shrapnel from the other Resolute's explosion causes the Landing Ship Grievous is piloting to lose control and rapidly fall toward Saleucami.
