The following is the list of the games in the modern LEGO series.

  • LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is the second game in the series. It released in 2006. It is based on the Star Wars original trilogy.
  • LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga released in 2007. It is a compilation of the first two games in the series with bonus features.
    • LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (DS) is a significantly different version of this game made for the Nintendo DS. Instead of reusing content from the poorly received Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars II, this game was built from the ground up with completely new content.
  • LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures released in 2008. It is based on the classic Indiana Jones trilogy.
  • LEGO Batman: The Videogame released in 2008. It is not based on any movies but has three original stories told from both the heroes' and villains' perspective.
  • LEGO Battles is the first handheld exclusive game in the series. It released in 2009 exclusively on the Nintendo DS. It is also one of the only games in the series to not feature platforming gameplay, being a real-time strategy game. It is based on several Lego original themes, such as Castle, Space, and Pirates.
  • LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues released in 2009. It is mainly based on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but also has recaps on the classic trilogy.
    • LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues (Handheld) is a significantly different version of this game made for handheld game systems. Unlike the console version, this game is entirely based on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Starting with this game, the versions of LEGO games released on the PlayStation Portable would be based on the handheld versions instead of the home console versions.
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 released in 2010. It is based on the first four Harry Potter books and movies.
    • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (Handheld) is a significantly different version of this game made for handheld game systems. This entry is notable for implementing text-only dialogue long before the rest of the series would feature voiced dialogue.
  • LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars released in 2011. It is based on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series.
  • LEGO Battles: Ninjago released in April 2011. It is a spinoff of LEGO Battles based on the LEGO Ninjago theme. It released exclusively on the Nintendo DS.
  • LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game released in 2011. It is based on all four Pirates of the Caribbean films.
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 released in 2011. It is based on the last three Harry Potter books and the last four films. It is the last game in the series to not feature spoken dialogue.
    • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (Handheld) is a significantly different version of this game made for handheld game systems. This is the first LEGO game to appear on the Playstation Vita, and the last to appear on the PlayStation Portable.
  • LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes released in 2012. It is the first game in the series to feature voice acting. It featured an original plot based on characters from DC Comics.
  • LEGO The Lord of the Rings released in October 2012. It was based on the film adaptations of The Lord of the Rings book trilogy.
  • LEGO City Undercover released in March 2013. It is based on the LEGO City theme. It was originally exclusive to the Nintendo Wii U system, before being ported over to other systems later with minor differences to account for the lack of a Wii U Gamepad. It featured easter eggs based on Nintendo properties. These were removed for later versions but were retained in the Nintendo Switch port.
  • LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins released in April 2013. It is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive prequel to LEGO City Undercover.
  • LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey released in June 2013 exclusively on handheld consoles. It is based on LEGO's original Legend of Chima theme.
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes released in October 2013. It featured an original story based on characters from Marvel Comics.
  • LEGO Friends released in November 2013 exclusively for handheld devices. It is based on the LEGO Friends theme and does not feature combat like most other LEGO games. It is the last LEGO game to be released for the Nintendo DS.
  • The LEGO Movie Videogame released in February 2014. It is based on the first LEGO movie.
  • LEGO The Hobbit released in April 2014. It is based on the first two movies in the Hobbit franchise. Initially, DLC levels covering the third Hobbit film was announced but later canceled.
  • LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids released in July 2014 exclusively on handheld game systems. It is based on the third season of the Ninjago TV show.
  • LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham released in November 2014. It featured an original plot based on characters from DC Comics. Characters that did not originate in Batman comics featured more prominently in the plot than previous LEGO Batman games.
  • LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin released in March 2015 exclusively on handheld game systems. It features an original story set in the Lego Ninjago universe.
  • LEGO Jurassic World released in June 2015. It is based on the first four films in the Jurassic Park franchise.
  • LEGO Dimensions released in September 2015. It is a crossover toys-to-life game. Content for the game would be released over two years. More content beyond what was released was planned but canceled.
  • LEGO Marvel's Avengers released in January 2016. It is based on the first two Avengers movies and featured levels based on other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
  • LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens released in June 2016. It is based on Star Wars Episode VII.
  • LEGO Worlds released in March 2017, though it was available in early access since 2015. It features the base gameplay found in other Lego games, but lets players explore randomly generated worlds and features expanded building tools.
  • The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame released in September 2017. It is based on the LEGO Ninjago Movie. It is the first LEGO game to be ported to the Nintendo Switch, though older games such as the LEGO Harry Potter games would be ported later.
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 released in November 2017. It featured an original plot based on Marvel Comics characters.
  • LEGO The Incredibles released in June 2018. It is based on Pixar's The Incredibles films, with cameos from other Pixar characters.
  • LEGO DC Super-Villains released in October 2018. It featured an original plot that focused on a Create-A-Character and the villians from DC Comics.
  • The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame released in February 2019. It is based on the second LEGO Movie.
  • LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga released in April 2022. It is based on all nine main Star Wars films, and is the biggest LEGO game of all time. It's the first LEGO game to use the NTT Engine, as well as the first to be released on ninth-generation consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X/S)
