Free the Slaves is the tenth level from LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. It is the fourth level of Temple of Doom.

Story[]

Indiana Jones and the gang escape to the mines behind the temple, where they find the missing village children. The kids are being forced by the Thuggee to mine for more Sankara Stones, as the stones are integral to one of Mola's evil plots. As the gang rescues the children, Short Round becomes captured by the Thuggee. Indiana and Willie go to find Short Round, but are confronted by a tough Thuggee Slave Driver and the hypnotized Maharajah. Willie frees Short Round as Indiana fights the slave driver. Maharajah strengthens the slave driver with the sacred substance, but Short Round then snaps Maharajah back to his senses. Short Round, Willie, Maharajah and the enslaved kids crush the Slave Driver with a rock crusher. The village children flee the mines, as Indiana and the crew head for the Mine Cart tunnels.

Walkthrough[]

First, switch Willie to go up and build some handholds to allow Indy to go up and take the box to a green pad. Then switch to Indy to make a platform go up and switch to Willie to get to the box and build some objects to make the car start and destroy some metal objects. Then jump between a rope and a lava pit to go to the next area.

In the next area, turn a key to drop a box and make a Slave Child come out and activate a lever to go to the next area.

In the next area, carefully jump and dig for a key and whip an item to put it in a mechanism. Then use a wrench to repair the mechanism and make sure you've turned the key to get Indy through, then release a Slave Child to open the door. Use a bomb to destroy the metal debris and move to the next area.

In the next area, break some objects to take a switch and place it in a green pad so that a ladder allows you to climb. Then use a shovel to dig out a switch and bring it to a green pad to free the kids up two platforms. Destroy some debris to go to the next area.

In the next area, spend two hearts on the Thuggee Slave Driver and he will become invincible. Use a bomb to free Short Round and move a cart to move a platform. Switch to Short Round to enter a hatch and chase Maharajah down to catch him. Then use bombs when the Thuggee Slave Driver is grabbing the rocks to damage him. Finish him to finish the level.
