Escape the Mines is the eleventh level from LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. It is the fifth level of Temple of Doom.

Story[]

Indiana Jones, Willie and Short Round make their way into the mine cart tunnels, but need to assemble a couple of mine carts before they can make a hasty departure from the mines. After building the mine carts, they go on a hair-raising ride through the mines, chased by a team of Thuggee, only to stop at a dead end. Mola floods the mines with water in an attempt to flush Indiana out of the mines and into a river of crocodiles. Indiana and the gang barely avoid their otherwise watery fate, but end up on a sheer cliff face, with Indiana separated from Willie and Short Round.

Walkthrough[]

You start in a mine. Defeat all the Thuggees and take a rail to a track. Then use a dynamite to destroy some rubble and build a mine cart, use a wrench to repair it. Destroy the black boxes to build the track and as Indy get on a platform. Switch to another character to bring the platform up and switch back to Indy to activate a lever that will lower a ladder. Then push a mining cart and press a big button to raise the platform. Go up a ladder to keep pushing the mining cart and to be able to go to the next area.

In the next area, hit three signs to switch lanes and proceed to the final area of ​​the level.

In the final area of ​​the level, hit 5 signs to switch lanes and end the level.

  • Artifact Treasures
    1. (S) It's located down near the start of the level. You can get back up using a ladder.
    2. (S) Use a girl to get to a platform, some handholds and get this artifact.

    4. (F) Use a kid to get into a hatch and switch to a Thuggee character to interact with a statue to get this artifact.
    5. (S) Located to the left of the third signal.
    6. (S) Smash three cars with Thuggees during the first chase to get this artifact.
    7. (S) Break three top bins during the first chase to get this artifact.
    8. (S) Located on the left hand side near the exit.
    9. (S) Smash three cars with Thuggees during the second chase to get this artifact.
    10. (S) Break three top bins during the second chase to get this artifact.
  • Treasure x6 Parcel
    • (F) Use a book character to solve a puzzle and open a door, then use a shovel character to dig up this parcel and take it to the mailbox.

Unlockables[]

The minikit model in this level is a Pankot Diamond. In Barnett College you will be able to continue to Battle on the Bridge. After collecting the Parcel, you can purchase Treasure x6.
