Escape from Echo Base is the twenty-sixth level of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It is the second level of The Empire Strikes Back.

Opening Crawl[]

Episode V
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
Chapter 2
ESCAPE FROM ECHO BASE
Imperial forces have mounted a
relentless assault on the Rebel base
on Hoth. The Rebel fighters have held
out bravely, but the enemy is
overwhelming.
In the Echo base command center,
carved deep into the ice of the
frozen planet, Han Solo and Princess
Leia monitor the evacuation of Rebel
personnel.
But as stormtroopers breach the
outer defences, they must quickly
find an escape route for
themselves....

Story[]

However, the Empire was still winning so Han Solo and Princess Leia had to escape from Echo Base. They fought many Snowtroopers on the way to the Millennium Falcon, meeting up with C-3PO and Chewbacca. When they got in the ship, the lights went out so Han snuck a kiss on Leia. As they left Hoth, Luke headed to Dagobah.

Walkthrough[]

You start in a communication area. When you go to the door, your way will be blocked by fallen stones. Build a bomb to destroy them and continue to a part where you have to kill Snowtroopers and build a hot object by shooting the three times to turn it on and thaw the ice to go to the next area.

In the next area, push a hot object near the ice to melt it and just continue to a part where you have to destroy some boxes to go to the next area.

In the next area, build a self-driving vehicle and push a mechanism to make the vehicle destroy some fallen stones in the previous area.

Then go back to the previous area and you will meet C-3PO thanks to the destruction of the fallen stones. Mount a weapon to destroy some rubble. Change to C-3PO to open the door that leads to the next area.

In the next area, defeat all the Snowtroopers and rebuild a weapon to destroy some rubble and build a protocol panel. For C-3PO to get on there, destroy the boxes that are in the center. Build a vehicle and push some boxes to some rectangles so that steam comes out, then approach them with the vehicle so that C-3PO's AI gets on the vehicle and take him go to the door and press the action button to make him jump and be able to change to open the door to continue. After continuing, build a bomb to destroy fallen stones and go to the next area.

In the next area, climb up and press 5 buttons sliding down a slope to open a door that leads to the next area.

In the next area, step on 4 buttons. One with a box and three with characters to open a door and then continue to go to the final area of ​​the level.

In the final area, you will meet Chewbacca. Defeat all the Snowtroopers and rebuild a weapon and ride it to destroy the barrier that protects the Falcon and you can build the entrance part. To get to the top of the Falcon, activate two levers to reveal two boxes and take them to some rectangles to release 2 Tauntauns and ride one of them to get on top of the Falcon and build the machine guns to open the Falcon. Then just enter the Falcon to finish the level.

  • Minikit Canisters
    1. (F) In the first area, use the Force to move some objects so that the screens show a minikit to get it.
    2. (S) In the area of ​​the vehicle, jump on it to reach a Double Score Zone that contains this minikit. If you change the rail, use double jump.
    3. (F) In the area where you meet C-3PO, use a bounty hunter to destroy some silver items and build two hot items to melt ice to release two destroyed skeletons. Rebuild them to step on two buttons and press a button while the AI ​​in the other to spawn this minikit.

    9. (F) Use a character with Dark Force to move some small bricks and jump on them as platforms to go up the slope and to the left side to find an area that you will have to use a character with a hook to reach a snowy area and use a child to get to the minikit.
    10. (F) In the area where you came from the slope of the previous minikit, go to the right side and use a droid to open a door that leads to the systems area and finally activate a lever to turn some cylinders that you will have to make the three are in yellow and green hexagons in the final area the door that protects this minikit will open.
  • Fast Build Red Power Brick
    • (F) This is located in the final hanger where you have to release the Falcon (the same room as the tenth minikit). It is behind the top left blue forcefield. To release this, right before you enter the final hanger door, there is a path going off to the left. Use the Dark Force to pull down the steps along the wal, otherwise you will just slide back down the hill. When you get to the top, turn to your right and enter the door. once inside the there is a switch on the left side of the room and the right side. One of the switches reveals 3 sets of 3 green and yellow circles and will unlock the mini-kit, and the other will show 3 sets of 3 red and white circles and will unlock the brick.
  • Blue Minikit Canisters
    1. At the beginning of the level, go to the left side and use an astromech droid to open a door to a special area. There, go to the top left corner to find this blue minikit.
    2. In the third area, use a double jump character to reach the northern ledge and reach this blue minikit.
    3. After destroying the rocks on the left side of the second area, enter the room where you meet C-3PO and in the lower right corner you will find this blue minikit on top of a box.
    4. At the beginning of the fourth area, go to the bottom right corner and use an astromech droid to open a door to a fishing spot. There, you will find this blue minikit on the right side of the room.
    5. In the lower left corner of the fourth area, you'll find this blue minikit on top of a ledge.
    6. In the fifth area, you will find this blue minikit above the third button that you need to press.
    7. In the sixth area, use a protocol droid to open the door on the left side and go to a special area. There, use a bounty hunter to destroy some silver scraps and destroy a box to go to another special area. There, you will find this blue minikit to the left of the entrance to the previous special area.
    8. Near the end of the sixth area, use a character with Dark Force on various black materials on the left side to build a small staircase. It can be very difficult to climb because the slope can take you back to the start. When you finish climbing the slope, defeat the Snowtroopers that get in your way and you will find this blue minikit in the place where you can go to two paths.
    9. Instead of the previous blue minikit, go to the right path and use an astromech droid to open the door to the systems area, where you will find this blue minikit in the middle of the room.
    10. On the right side of the final area, pull two levers to open a garage door and you'll find this blue minikit between two boxes.

Unlockables[]

The minikit model in this level is a Snowspeeder. After completing the level, you unlock Han Solo (Hoth) and Princess Leia (Hoth). C-3PO and/or Chewbacca are also unlocked if they haven't already. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy Han Solo (Hood), a Rebel Trooper (Hoth), a Rebel Pilot, a Snowtrooper and Luke Skywalker (Hoth). You will also be able to continue to Falcon Flight. After collecting the Red Power Brick, you can purchase Fast Build.
