Walkthrough[]
Level Prelude[]
Hop onto the pink bar on the left. Flip across the pole to get to the other side. Now, hop up the pink and blue wall by continuously pressing the jump button until you reach the top. Follow the green ghost studs to the police station. Jump up and climb the wall with pink and blue bricks on it. Hang onto the pink bar and then jump right. Jump up the pink and blue agility wall and then hang onto the bar. Jump up and then finally climb the brick covered wall up until the level starts.
The Melting Chamber[]
Use Wyldstyle to build the pieces in the center into a laser firing cannon. Wyldstyle can build things because she is a master builder. Hop into the cannon and fire at the gold security camera until it explodes. You will now need to find 3 instruction pages. Fire at the gold door on the left and trace the outline to open it. The first instruction page is in the left room on top of the couch. The second page will require more work to obtain. Use Emmet and drill the crack on the left to knock down a pillar. Switch to Wyldstyle and climb on the bars to get up top. Build the hopping bricks into a pad. Run up to the pad to get across the gap. Go to the right and push the computer off of the roof. Rebuild the pieces into a trampoline. Use Emmet and jump on the pad to get onto the roof. Drill the cracks on the floor to make the ceiling collapse. Hop down into the room and collect the page inside. Press the button in the room to open up the center window. Destroy the air vent and use Wyldstyle to rebuild it into a fan to get back up. Hop back into the cannon and trace the outline on the window to knock it down. Hop up into the window to collect the final instruction page. Go to the orange instruction building pad and start the minigame. When finished, turn the crank to open the ladder. Once you have done that, climb the ladder to the top and then go to the left. Destroy the object against the wall and rebuild it into a trampoline. Use Wyldstyle and bounce on the trampoline to climb on the ceiling. Follow the climbing wall and jump down onto the hanging platforms. Switch to Emmet and punch the robot with a bazooka to prevent Wyldstyle from getting shot. Switch back to Wyldstyle and flip across the poles onto the climbing wall. Climb up the wall and keep walking down the path. Hop up the agility wall and a robot will shoot the power box below causing an electric current to block Wyldstyle's path. Switch to Emmet and fix the power box to let Wyldstyle get across. Switch back to Wyldstyle, climb up the ladder, hop up the wall once again and then run across the gap. She will knock down a fan which Emmet will need to repair. Repair the fan to create a way up to the hanging platforms. Use Emmet and drill the crack on the window. Walk into the room and turn right to head into the next stage.
While in Free Play, it is possible to collect one Golden Manual, and to collect the pair of pants at this point.
Golden Manual 1[]
When climbing up the left wall with Wyldstyle, there is a beam. Hop down onto the beam and walk to the end of it to collect a golden manual.
Pants[]
Inside the room with the large window, there is a computer console. Use the console and complete the hacking minigame to open up a secret area. Pull the yellow hook to access a room. Fix the machine inside to stop the electric flow from preventing you to get across. Use an agile character and run across the gap. Hop up, walk down the platform, and operate the orange machine to create a bridge across for the container. Push the container on the path and it will drop into the center, creating another bridge for you to get across to the right area. Use Unikitty to destroy the rainbow desk. Rebuild the pieces into a butterfly to create a bar to hop up onto the climbing wall with. Climb up the wall with an agile character, jump up and climb the ceiling, then hop down onto the balcony. Go into the back room and push the poll inside to the left, which will also open a door. Flip across to the other side and enter the room with a computer console in it. Play the hacking minigame to open the large door in the back. Walk into the room in the back and collect the pair of pants.
Backstreet Breakout[]
Use Wyldstyle to interact with the green master build point in the center of the alleyway. Tag all 3 highlighted objects to preform a master build. 4 robots will try and stop you. Defeat them all and another master build point will appear. However, not all objects needed are in the area. Use Emmet and drill the crack on the right to uncover an object. Drill the ground on the right to make a way up to the balcony. Switch to Wyldstyle and hop up onto the platform above the balcony to bring it down and uncover another object. Now use the master build point to build the second half of the motorcycle. Hop in the motorcycle to start the next stage.
While in Free Play, it is possible to collect three Golden Manuals at this point.
Golden Manual 2[]
Melt the gold lock on the gate in the back. Play the hacking minigame to stop the electricity flow and collect the Golden Manual.
Golden Manual 3[]
In the front, there is a gate to the left. Destroy the gold lock on it, then use Unikitty to destroy the giant rainbow flower. Rebuild it into a rainbow trampoline and jump on it to get across to the other side. Climb up the ladder and use Vitruvius to shimmy across the blue ledge to obtain the Golden Manual.
Golden Manual 4[]
In the area with the previous golden manual, there is a flight of stairs. Walk up the stairs and use an agile character to some parkour to get up to a platform. Walk across the tightrope, then climb on some bars towards the left. Once you reach the left end of the bars, jump down and collect the Golden Manual.
Highway Chase[]
Jump onto the next truck with Wyldsyle, then switch to Emmet and fire at the enemy vehicle. Switch back to Wyldstyle and hop across the car to get to the bus. Use Emmet and fire at another enemy. Switch back to Wyldstyle again and use the master build point to build a crane. Hop onto the bar and it'll bring you over to a tanker. Use Emmet and fire at the back of the tanker. Now 4 enemy vehicles will come at you to shoot. After that segment is over, switch back to Wyldstyle and climb onto the side of the truck. Switch to Emmet, shoot down the enemy vehicle, then shoot the target on the yellow car. Use Wyldstyle and hop onto the yellow car. Walk across the tightrope, then keep jumping from vehicle to vehicle until you hop into a cannon and 4 enemy vehicles show up. Shoot the enemy vehicles and the helicopter will turn to the side. Hit the silver spot on the helicopter an 4 more enemy vehicles will show up. Shoot them all down and the helicopter will turn to the other side. Hit the other silver spot and the helicopter will explode. Switch to Emmet and shoot the target on the back of the yellow truck. Switch back to Wyldstyle and keep jumping until you get on top of the yellow truck. Jump onto the green truck, then the blue truck, then finally the black truck. Run across the gap, Then switch to Emmet and hit the target on the back of the truck ahead. Use Wyldstyle and slide down the beam, then use Emmet to shoot down the enemy vehicles that will appear. finally, switch back to Wyldstyle, use the master build point, and a cutscene will play, ending the level.
It is possible to collect one Golden Manual at this point.
Golden Manual 5[]
When in the segment where 4 vehicles come at you, if you shoot down all 4 vehicles, you will be rewarded with the final Golden Manual.
