Droid Factory is the seventh level in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It is the second level of Attack of the Clones.

Opening Crawl

Episode II

DROID FACTORY

Obi-Wan Kenobi has tracked

the bounty hunter Jango Fett

to the planet of Geonosis. This

rocky world, know for its

droid production factories,

forms the base of operations

for the Separatist movement.

While Anakin Skywalker

guards Senator Padme

Amidala, Obi-Wan lands his

Jedi Starfighter on the

planet's surface....

Story

Obi-Wan follows them to the planet of Geonosis. They attack him and he calls Anakin Skywalker for backup. Anakin and Padmé free Obi-Wan, but are captured by Jango Fett and a team of Droidekas.

Walkthrough

You start at the entrance to the droid factory. When you go right, Geonosians will attack you. Defeat them and at the end of the hallway, destroy a box to build a lever. Have Anakin and Padmé pull two levers to open the door that will take you to the next area.

In the next area, get off the ledge and you will come to a conveyor belt. Be careful when going to the right, as there will be crushing objects that will kill you instantly. Go slowly and when you see that the crushing object has already stepped on, pass it quickly. Avoid another crushing object and you'll reach a room with a Droideka and an astromech panel. Destroy the Droideka and use the astromech panel with R2-D2 to stop the conveyor belts and crushing objects. Continue to the right, destroy three Battle Droids and use Anakin's Force on three fans to place them on the ground. Then, use the fan on the right to reach the platform above and reach the next area.

In the next area, switch to Padmé, use the grapple point on the left and shoot a target to lower a giant trash can. Then, use the giant trash can to reach the ledge on the right, use another grapple point to reach another high ledge, and shoot another target to lift another giant trash can. Then, hop on the giant trash can you just lifted, jump to the walkway in front of you, and destroy three Battle Droids. Continue to the right, destroy another Battle Droid, and drop down to the ledge below. Then, use the giant trash can on the right to reach another ledge, and use a grapple point with Padmé or Anakin's double jump to reach another ledge. There, have both characters step on two buttons to open the door to the next area.

In the next area, use Anakin's Force to lift a gear and reveal a platform. Then, jump to that platform, then to a cylindrical platform and use Anakin's Force on another gear to reveal another platform. Jump to that newly revealed platform, then to another cylindrical platform and use Anakin's Force on one more gear to reveal one more platform. Use that newly revealed platform to reach the far right ledge and use Anakin's Force to reveal some intact pieces. Use Anakin's Force on those intact pieces to build a protocol panel and use C-3PO on it to open the door to the next area.

In the next area, go to the right while defeating Geonosians. When you come across a lava pit, use Padmé on a grapple point to the left to reach the ledge above. There, destroy a pillar to the right and use Anakin's Force on its remains to build a platform. Use the platform while hovering as R2 to cross the lava pit and then use an astromech panel to extend a bridge. Destroy two Battle Droids, two Droidekas, and use 3PO on a protocol panel to the right to activate a conveyor belt, destroy a box, and reveal pieces. Use the pieces to build a bomb, which will explode to destroy the protection guarding the door that will take you to the final area of ​​the level.

In the final area, you will have to rescue Obi-Wan. First, destroy a Droideka and defeat several Geonosians until they stop appearing thanks to a minikit. To free Obi-Wan, you must destroy four bindings, which there are two ways to destroy. One is to use Anakin's Force, and another is to hit them using Anakin's saber or Padmé's blaster. When all four bindings are destroyed, Obi-Wan will free himself and the level will end.

Collectables

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

• Minikit Canisters
  1. (S) In the first area, use a Jedi character to turn on five lights and reveal this minikit at the end.
  2. (F) From the starting point of the second area, use a double jump character to reach the platform on the left. There, use a small character to enter a hatch and reach a platform with this minikit on the right.
  3. (S) Find three grape blocks throughout the level to get this minikit:
     1. On the left side of the room with the three fans in the second area, destroy a box to reveal this grape block.
     2. In the third area, near the door that takes you to the special area with the sixth minikit, jump to the ledge below and destroy two boxes on the right side to reveal this grape block. You can then use a Jedi character to build a target and then shoot that target with a character with blaster. This will activate a giant trash can that you can use to return to the walkway above.
     3. Near the end of the fifth area, go down the southern slope and then use a double jump character to reach an island on the right. There, destroy a box to reveal this grape block.
  4. (F) On the right side of the room with the three fans in the second area, destroy a box to build a button. Step on the button to reveal a platform and use that platform to reach the platform on the right. There, use a double jump character to reach a high platform and use a bounty hunter on a panel of it to open a door to a special area. In that area, destroy three boxes to build three levers. Pull them to reveal this minikit. If you fall off the ledge after collecting this minikit, you can destroy the box on the far right to build a grapple point. You can then use that grapple point with a character with blaster to return to the ledge above.
  5. (F) After reaching the walkway in the third area, go left until you find a black grate. Use a Sith character on it to destroy it and grab this minikit.
  6. (F) In the middle of the walkway in the third area, destroy a box to build an Imperial panel. Use that panel with an Imperial member to open a door to a special area. There, jump across the moving platforms to reach this minikit on the far right platform. It is recommended to do this with a double jump character.
  7. (S) After using a Jedi character to lift three gears and reveal three platforms in the fourth area, this minikit will appear under the high platform to the north. To reach it, go to the far left ledge and destroy a box to the north to build a grapple point. Use that grapple point with a character with blaster to reach the upper platform and destroy a box to reveal intact pieces. Use a Jedi character on them to build a lever and pull it to activate the moving platform below. Use that moving platform to reach this minikit.
  8. (S) In the fifth area, destroy three pillars together and use a Jedi character on their remains to build a platform. Use that platform with a double jump character to reach this minikit inside an alcove.
  9. (S) After destroying the three pillars to build a platform for the previous minikit, enter the cave to reach a special area. There, destroy a Droideka and push two boxes towards two buttons. Then, have both characters step on two more buttons to reveal this minikit in a high alcove to the right. Use a double jump character to reach it.
  10. (S) In the final area, instead of freeing Obi-Wan, continue defeating Geonosians until this minikit appears, at which point the Geonosians will stop coming.

• Evasion Challenge Red Power Brick
  • (S) After using an astromech panel to stop the conveyor belts and smash objects in the second area, head back left to a red metal dividing wall. Use a Jedi character to create platforms on that wall and jump on them until you reach the highest platform. There, defeat two Battle Droids and grab this Red Power Brick.

Unlockables

The minikit model in this level is a Droideka. After completing the level, you unlock Anakin Skywalker (Padawan), Padme (Geonosis) and C-3PO. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy a Geonosian and a Battle Droid (Geonosis). You will also be able to continue to Jedi Battle. After collecting the Red Power Brick, you can purchase Evasion Challenge.
