Dragons is the twentieth level of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It is the second level of The Goblet of Fire.

Story[]

At Hogwarts, Professor Dumbledore announces that the school will host the Triwizard Tournament along with Central Europe's Durmstrang Institute and France's Beauxbatons Academy. A single student from each school will be selected by the Goblet of Fire to participate; students below the age of seventeen are ineligible. Fleur Delacour is selected as Champion of Beauxbatons, Viktor Krum is selected from Durmstrang, and Cedric is selected from Hogwarts. The Goblet of Fire then selects Harry as the fourth Champion, causing much confusion.

You begin in the Entrance Hall. Follow Nearly Headless Nick to the Potions Classroom.

Return to the Great Hall and then to Hagrid's Hut.

Level Walkthrough[]

The Forbidden Forest[]

Go right - a red dragon blocks your path. In the bowl by the cage you will find a purple egg - use Wingardium Leviosa to move it up. Afterwards destroy the padlock and go inside. Steer the egg with Wingardium Leviosa so that is gets to the dragon cage. Eventually, a baby dragon will hatch and the path will be unlocked. Use Immobulus to eliminate the three pixies holding the parts of the chain. Then reassemble it with Wingardium Leviosa and roll with Hagrid - you'll open the bridge. As you go through it, look for the flames coming out of the wall on the right.

Use Lumos Solem to chase away the Devil's Snare and use magic of the leaves - assemble a mushroom with Wingardium Leviosa. Jump up, use Wingardium Leviosa to make a chain out of the bricks and pull it with Hagrid to lower the bridge. You will end up with a green dragon. Use Wingardium Leviosa to unwind the xylophone on the left. Colorful notes will start to appear from the dragon's mouth - use Wingardium Leviosa to press the appropriate keys with the mallet.
The colored notes that appear in the snapdragon in chronological order are as follows:

  1. Red, yellow.
  2. Green, yellow, blue.
  3. Red, yellow, blue, green.

The dragon will fall asleep - you can move on.

Jump between the flames. On the way you will meet four groups of flames. Using Wingardium Leviosa, use the bowl on the aquarium to gather some water and then pour it onto the flame. Use Wingardium Leviosa to make a ladder out of the planks. You will meet a blue dragon. Use Wingardium Leviosa to grab the purple ring and direct it so that the dragon starts spewing fire at the props. With the first and last, adjust the ring so that the accessory is in the center. As for the middle one, place the ring between the first and second accessories. After unlocking the path, move on - you have to create a bridge from the bricks using Wingardium Leviosa.

Dragon Enclosure[]

In the next location, use Wingardium Leviosa on one of the chains.

At the next location, use Fang to dig a hole in the ground. Go down with Hagrid and pull the chain - you will unlock the upper passage. With Harry upstairs, put on the Invisibility Cloak and go past the dragon. Use Lumos Solem to remove the vines from the road and use magic on the plant - you will unlock a passage below. Pick up a large stack of bricks with Wingardium Leviosa so Hagrid can move on. Once near the tree, pick up the pile again with Wingardium Leviosa - Hagrid will use the mushroom and this way you can get through the tree, so move to the right. Dig up the chain with Fang, pull it out by using Wingardium Leviosa on Hagrid, and eventually destroy the lock with Harry.

  • House Crests
    • Gryffindor
      • (S) You have to use magic on nine lamps. They are very hard to miss. The first one can be found at the very beginning; the second after passing next to the red dragon; the third one behind the blue flames; the fourth one by the green dragon; two more by the second blue flames; the seventh by the blue dragon; the eight before the brick bridge and the last one after getting off the bridge.
    • Slytherin
      • (F) A bit further after getting across the bridge you will find a chest with two locks - destroy them with Reducto, use Wingardium Leviosa on the chest and then Wingardium Leviosa once more to assemble a dragon which will melt the wall with the crest behind it.
    • Hufflepuff
      • (S) Once you put the green dragon to sleep, press the yellow key a few times and you will get this house crest.
    • Ravenclaw
      • (F) Right next to the blue dragon cage you will find a skeleton - use Dark Magic on it and it will come to life to go fishing for this house crest for you.
  • Student in Peril
    • (F) In the second location, after unlocking the chains, you will find a safe on the right. Use a character with a key to free the student.
  • Tokens
    • Cedric (Sweater)
      • (F) Right after you cross the brick bridge you will find a safe - use a character with a key to open it and get this character token.
    • Dragon Handler
      • (F) In the second location, right at the beginning, you will find a padlocked chest - destroy it with Reducto to get this character token.
    • Durmstrang Student
      • (F) After crossing the second blue flames, you will find a black display case - use Dark Magic on it to destroy it and get this character token.

Unlockables[]

Cedric (Sweater), Dragon Handler, and Durmstrang Student can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to The First Task.
