Donut Disaster is the first mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the first mission to take place in Cherry Tree Hills.

The Story Begins[]

[The camera zooms in on the statue of Lady Liberty]

Chase McCain: [off-screen; recording a blog] LEGO City... [the game logo appears] The greatest city in the world. The city where I became a cop, which is how this story begins. That's Chief Gleeson. She runs the police department. She's tough, but fair.

[Gleeson gets angry and throws the phone on the floor]

Chase McCain: And that is Deputy Dunby. He's tough, but unfair.

[Dunby eats a donut and notices Chase]

Deputy Dunby: What are you doing, McCain?!

Chase McCain: Oh! Er... Nothing. End of Chase McCain's blog part one. [Finish recording the blog]

Police Chief Gleeson: So, how are you settling in, Chase?

Chase McCain: Great thanks, Chief. I've finished all my training and I'm ready for duty!

Police Chief Gleeson: Excellent, we're all very happy to have you here. Aren't we, Deputy Dunby?

Deputy Dunby: Thrilled.

Police Chief Gleeson: Well, I'll leave you with the deputy. I'm sure he has some important work for you. [She leaves]

Deputy Dunby: I certainly do, ma'am! [Laughs; the camera zooms in on him and Chase] We're out of doughnuts. Get me some more.

Chase McCain: Yes, sir!

[As Dunby leaves, he throws a computer on the floor]

Chase McCain: Part two. I think I've made a bad career choice.

Go Find Me Donuts[]

[Chase leaves the police station]

Deputy Dunby: [By phone] Welcome to the force, rookie. Hurry up and get those donuts! This police force doesn't run on hopes and dreams alone!

We Ran Out of Donuts[]

Donut Shop Clerk: I'm sorry. We're out of donuts, and our delivery van has broken down.

Chase McCain: Not good. Where's the van? I'll see what I can do.

Donut Shop Clerk: Go to your patrol car. I'll send you the delivery van's location.

Donut Shop Clerk: [By phone] I've marked the location of the delivery van on your map, Officer.

Can I Deliver?[]

Chase McCain: You okay in there? Your boss sent me to help out.

Donut Delivery Boy: I'll be fine. The fire department's on its way... I hope.

Chase McCain: Good. You mind if I make the delivery?

Donut Delivery Boy: You go for it.

Donut Shop Clerk: I'll take it from here, Officer. You can go get your donuts now. [He grabs a box of donuts and takes it to the shop]

Good Job for the Donuts[]

Policeman: Good job, Chase. I'll take these to the officers right away. [He takes the donuts to the police station]

Walkthrough[]

After starting a new game and watching the opening cutscene, you will appear in the Police Station parking lot. On the touch screen, you will have the map, with a police logo that tells you the location you will have to go to. Cross the street, climb the stairs to the roof of the Donut Shop, and head towards the Clerk. He will tell you that they are out of donuts and that the Donut Van has broken down. He will then tell you to get in your patrol car so he can send you the location of the van. Go back to the police station and get into your patrol car. The clerk will mark you the location of the van. Continue down the street on the left and go up an orange street hill until you reach the place where the Donut Van is. When you get there, you will meet the broken down van and the delivery boy. The delivery boy will allow you to make the delivery. Use the loose parts to repair the van and get into it. Drive it to the designated spot behind the Donut Shop. The clerk will come and bring a box of donuts to the shop. Go back up the stairs of the shop and grab a box of donuts near the counter. Take it to the police station and put it in a trolley. A policeman will take it to the police station to the officers, completing the mission. After completing the mission, you can explore LEGO City, take a tour of the Police Station, or do the next mission.
