Dobby's Plan is the eighth level of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It is the second level of The Chamber of Secrets.
Story[]
After being blocked from entering Platform Nine and Three-Quarters at King's Cross railway station, Harry and Ron take the car to Hogwarts. There, they crash into the Whomping Willow, breaking Ron's wand, and receive detention.
In detention, Harry hears a strange voice and later finds caretaker Argus Filch's cat, Mrs Norris, petrified beside a message written in blood: "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir... beware." One of the founders of Hogwarts, Salazar Slytherin, supposedly built a secret chamber containing a monster that only his heir can control, capable of purging the school of Muggle-born students. To solve this mystery, Harry, Ron, and Hermione plan to question Malfoy, using polyjuice potion, which they brew in a bathroom haunted by Moaning Myrtle, a ghost.
During a Quidditch game, Harry's arm is broken by a rogue Bludger.

Hogwarts[]
You will start at Grassy Courtyard. To open the door, you must first create a strengthening potion, which will allow you to flush the chain. The snake's fang can be found in flowers. Use magic twice (once on the flowers and then on the snake). On the right, in the flowers, you will find a piece of skeleton. Use magic on each bush and then put it back together with Wingardium Leviosa. On the left there's a cleaning machine. Use magic on it. Once it finishes cleaning, it will spit out the last ingredient. Drink the strengthening potion and pull the chain. Leave the courtyard. Follow Nearly Headless Nick to the Herbology Class.
Hogwarts Greenhouse[]

Hogwarts (Again)[]
There's a Mandrake blocking the path. In the left part of the courtyard you will find a wardrobe - put on the earmuffs. Pick up the flower and put it in the pot. Follow the ghost to the Lessons Hallway.
Hogwarts Class Lobby[]
On the left, right next to the entrance to the Transfiguration Classroom, you will find a wardrobe. Put on the earmuffs and pick up the Mandrake shouting by the glass passage to the Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom. Break the passage, put the Mandrake into the pot and go into the classroom.

You will start this level by entering the tent.
Level Walkthrough[]
The Quidditch Stands[]
Open the hatch and jump down. After a while a ball will appear - in the chest you will find a bat, which will hit it into the blockade on the left, once you use magic on it. Then assemble a trampoline from the scattered bricks with Wingardium Leviosa, jump off of it and jump higher up. Use magic on Dobby to remove his first heart. Switch to Hagrid, pull the chain and move on. Use magic on Dobby a second time to remove his second heart. Use Immobulus on the two pixies holding the door and afterwards Lumos Solem on the Devil's Snare. After a while, the snitch will fly away and a part of the support will crumble. Create a staircase from the scattered bricks. Dobby will manage to escape. Climb the ladder to the second platform. Use Wingardium Leviosa to lift up the big purple brick and attach it to the chain - the gate will open.
In the next area, go up the left ladder and attack Dobby to remove his third heart. Use Hagrid to pull the chain - you will free the dragon and two bricks from the cage. Place the bricks so that you can climb the stairs. Dobby has hidden inside the middle wardrobe - chase him out and attack to remove his fourth heart. Jump down and eliminate two pixies holding the bridge using Immobulus. Afterwards, use Wingardium Leviosa on the barrel, to throw Dobby out and attack him for the last time.
Hospital Wing[]
You have to prepare the medicine for Harry. You will take control of Madam Pomfrey, who knows all the spells. By the bed of one of the patients on the right, you will find a skull. Connect it with the body using Wingardium Leviosa and eventually the student will destroy the skeleton - you will get the first ingredient. The second ingredient can be found behind the glass showcase - you have to use a Mandrake to break it. You can just pick it up using Madam Pomfrey, or wear earmuffs with any student - first you have to destroy the padlock in the wardrobe. Do it using Madam Pomfrey, casting Reducto. Pick up the bed on the left with Wingardium Leviosa and afterwards assemble the armour below the bed with Wingardium Leviosa. The armor will destroy the large padlock, opening the passage to the next room.
Right after entering the second room, you will find a purple spider web on the wall. Use the broom with Wingardium Leviosa to sweep up the webs. After a while a spider will shot up. Knock it down using magic and bring the ingredients to the cauldron. When you manage to put all three ingredients in the cauldron, the level will end.

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

- (F) At the back of the second room is a safe - use a character with a key to open it.
- Slytherin
- (F) Next to the bridge you will find two scrolls, which unrolled with Wingardium Leviosa will show the Slytherin team. Greet them with a Slytherin house character to receive this house crest.
- Hufflepuff
- (S) Use Wingardium Leviosa on all four poles - two can be found at the very beginning, and the other two a little further, during the next meeting with Dobby on the second platform.
- Ravenclaw
- (S) Use magic on the four barrels with flags:
- The first can be found right after jumping down (in the chest you can find a bat, which will hit the ball and unlock the passage);
- The second next to Dobby's first meeting point;
- The third next to the pixies;
- The fourth next to the ladder leading to the second platform.

- (F) Next to the bridge held by pixies you will find a chest. Chase away the Devil's Snare with Lumos Solem and then destroy the lock with Reducto.

- (F) In the second room of the Hospital Wing you will find a machine. Firstly destroy the padlock with Dark Magic and then cast a spell to destroy it and get this character token.
- Draco (Quidditch)
- (F) As you free the snitch, you will create a staircase - go under it to the right and you will find a black showcase - use Dark Magic on it to destroy it and get this character token.
- Dobby
- (S) The token is above one of the beds in the Hospital Wing. Jump off one of the beds to reach it.
- Madam Pomfrey
Unlockables[]
Madam Pomfrey, Draco (Quidditch), and Dobby can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to Crabbe and Goyle.
