Destiny is the sixteenth and final level in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. It is the sixth and final level of Return of the Jedi.

Story[]
Luke goes to confront his father Darth Vader. When Vader brings his son to the Emperor, he becomes Anakin Skywalker again and decides to help Luke defeat the Emperor. Luke and Vader fight the Emperor and his Guards. The Emperor manages to fly, but Luke and Vader still punch him back to the ground. Vader throws the Emperor into a pit, but is then weakened. Luke takes off Vader's helmet to see Anakin. Anakin then dies, so Luke screams in horror. Luke leaves the Death Star II.
As the Ewoks celebrate, Luke sees the ghosts of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin together.
Walkthrough[]
You start in the Emperor's throne room. Not only does the Emperor send four of his Guards to attack you, but he will also electrocute you. If you see the Emperor raise his hands and electricity is coming out of them, hold down the Y button to protect yourself with your lightsaber. This will divert the electricity from the Force Lightning, which can electrocute one of the Guards or the Emperor himself. Defeat the four Guards and hit the Emperor several times to remove his fourteen hearts, pushing you to the next area.
In the next area, the Emperor once again has fourteen hearts. If you are far away from him, he will throw objects made of two containers on each side of the stairs at you, either snowmen or anvils. Move away from them and they will be destroyed when they hit the walls, exposing studs. You can repeat this if you try to get True Jedi. Approach the Emperor and he will stop throwing objects at you; instead, he will use his lightsaber to attack you. Take out your lightsaber and hit the Emperor several times to remove his fourteen hearts and push you to the final area of the level.
In the final area of the level, the Emperor once again has fourteen hearts, but will begin to fly. Also, there will be a huge beam that will come through the ground, so you will have to jump over it or it will kill you instantly. The Emperor will use Force Lightning again, so it may be difficult to jump over the huge beam and deflect the electricity with the lightsaber. If you manage to electrocute the Emperor by deflecting the electricity, you will stun him a little, allowing you to quickly reach him and remove more of his hearts. You can also use Darth Vader's Force Choke to remove the Emperor's hearts from a distance. Eliminate the Emperor's last fourteen hearts to defeat him and play two cutscenes, one short and one long, ending the level.

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Canisters
- (S) In the second area, go up the ramps on either side at the top of the stairs on the right. Next, walk to the left of the upper catwalks and head to the central platform, where you will find this minikit in the air. Use a Jedi Slam to reach it.
- (F) On the right side of the second area, you will find a gap under the right ramp. Enter there with MSE-6 to find this minikit.
- (S) You will find this minikit in the middle of the third area. Use a double jump character to reach it.
- (F) On the right side of the third area, you will find a bounty hunter panel. Use a bounty hunter on it to open a door to a special area. There, you will see two paths. Go first to the one on the right. In the room on that path, you will see a chess floor. Push five blocks into their respective places and you will wake up five TIE Fighter Pilots. Defeat them to reveal this minikit.
- (F) In the main room of the same special area with the previous minikit, now go to the left path to reach another special area. There, pull a lever on the right to open a door and then destroy the red barrel on the left to build an elevator. Ride the elevator, jump to a platform on the right, and then use a Jedi character to lift it up and cross the right ledge. Then, go right, jump to the upper platform with a double jump character, and pull a lever to open the right door. Continue to the right, drop between two walls and destroy a red barrel to build a grapple point. Use it with a character with blaster to reach the upper platform, go down the gap on the right, and then pull a lever on the left to open another right door. Continue further to the right, fall between two walls, and then pull one more lever to open a door near the minikit. Finally, use a character with blaster on the grapple point on the right to reach the ledge with this minikit.
- (F) In the middle of the main room of the first special area, you will find this minikit inside four barriers. Destroy eight barrel bombs in both the room on the right and the area on the left to disable the barriers and obtain this minikit:
- You will find the first four bombs in the room on the right inside barriers. The barriers will deactivate as you push the blocks into their respective places.
- You will find this bomb after crossing the first ledge using a moving platform in the second special area.
- After passing the first door in the second special area, go down the lower steps to find this bomb.
- You'll find this bomb to the right of the red barrel that you destroy to build a grapple point in the second special area.
- In the place of the fifth minikit, jump to the ledge on the right to find this bomb.
- (F) On the left side of the third area, you will find a protocol panel. Use a protocol droid on it to reach a special room. There, use two panels you see in the lower right corner, one protocol and one astromech, to reveal this minikit. The awkward camera can complicate things.
- (F) You will find this minikit on the right side of the special room of the third area.
- (F) On the right side of the special room of the third area, you will find a small alcove. Go in there with a small character to reach a small area with this minikit.
- (F) In the same small area with the previous minikit, you will find a switch. Pull it with a Jedi character and return to the special room to reveal many Gold Studs and this minikit on top of the furniture in the upper left corner. Destroy the top drawer with a character with blaster, and then use the bottom two drawers with a double jump character to reach this minikit. Caution! In version 1.0, this minikit can disappear when entering, so you will have to grab it quickly.
Unlockables[]
Anakin Force will be available to purchase after obtaining all minikits in this level. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy an Emperor's Guard, Yoda and Yoda Force. In addition you would have the complete game and you can go to previous levels to play them in Free Play to get minikits that you couldn't before and get missing True Jedi.

Trivia[]
- In the American version, the Story Mode version of this level is unlocked at the beginning of the game, meaning that the player will not need to do all of Episode VI, although they will still need to complete The Blockade Runner level to unlock Episode VI.
- In the European version, a bug causes this level to not be unlocked upon completing the Heart of the Death Star level, making the game impossible to complete 100%. However, it is still possible to play the Story Mode version of this level after re-completing the fifth level of Episode VI in Story and then selecting Continue Story.
- If the Emperor attempts to electrocute a non-human character, such as a droid (except some like C-3PO), the game will crash.
- If the player finishes this level as Darth Vader, the ending cutscene will have battle music instead of victory music.
- If the player chooses to play this level with the Ewok Invasion extra, the game always crashes. The same goes with the Droid Invasion extra. This does not happen in any other LEGO game when the player uses an extra.
