Dementor's Kiss is the seventeenth level from LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It is the fifth level of The Prisoner of Azkaban.

Story[]

Learning that Sirius Black has been captured and sentenced to the Dementor's Kiss, Harry and Hermione act on Professor Dumbledore's advice and use Hermione's Time-Turner, which she was given to attend several classes at once, to go three hours back in time. They see themselves reliving the events of the night and free Buckbeak from execution. Spotting the past Harry and Black being attacked by Dementors, Harry rescues them using a Patronus charm and realizes he was the unseen figure who saved them earlier.

You begin at the Fountain Courtyard. Follow Nearly Headless Nick to the Hospital Wing.

Hagrid's Garden[]

Go to the closet on the left side of the garden and put on the earmuffs. Then take the Mandrake and put it into the pot. Once a predacious plant leans out, treat it with your wand. Consequently, the barrel will tip over and a fish will fall out of it. Give it to Buckbeak using Wingardium Leviosa. Create a small grill from the bricks, on which a piece of chicken will scorch - once more, use Wingardium Leviosa give the food to the imprisoned creature. Cut the chain with the axe to free the creature and proceed to the next area.

The Forbidden Forest[]

Once you're in the forest, firstly take care of the hornet and the nest. Head right, to the nook - two pixies are holding a couple of round bricks. Get rid of them using Immobilus and use Wingardium Leviosa to create a cloud with the bricks, which will fill the dry pond with water. Jump upstairs and head left - chase away the Devil's Snare using Lumos Solem to free the gramophone. Jump downstairs and use Wingardium Leviosa to assemble it. Return to the second pond once more. Use Wingardium Leviosa to draw the hook out of the water and use normal magic on it - it will pull out a chest from the water. Open the chest and take out a yellow vinyl record. Carefully jump between the leaves, return to the gramophone and place the record on top.

You will find yourself in the further part of the woods, with a frozen pond. On the left there are some colourful leaves - use Wingardium Leviosa to shoot them and shape into a bridge. Cross the bridge to the other side and eliminate the Devil's Snare with Lumos Solem. A giant snowball will destroy the iceberg and Dementors will appear. Your task is to kill all six Dementors using Expecto Patronum. When you kill all six Dementors, the level will end.

  • House Crests
    • Gryffindor
      • (S) After assembling the gramophone, pick up the two vinyl records - one of them is right next to you on the left and the second is inside a hole which you have to dig - in the spot where the frog were.
    • Slytherin
      • (S) After filling the pond with water, jump on the frog and swim through all the control doors.
    • Hufflepuff
      • (F) After destroying the iceberg, head right. Use Wingardium Leviosa to create a ladder out of the bricks. Destroy the colourful leafs and the second character will lift you with Wingardium Leviosa. Destroy the black rock in the centre with Dark Magic to get this house crest.
    • Ravenclaw
      • (F) In the garden to the left you will find a bird cage - destroy it with Reducto to free the bird and it will give you this house crest.
  • Student in Peril
    • (S) After a short cutscene, head left and defend the student from the hornets.
  • Tokens
    • Professor Lupin
      • (F) In the upper part of the garden, on the right side behind the bushes you will find a chest with a padlock - open it with Reducto to get this character token.
    • Cornelius Fudge
      • (F) In the location with the frozen pond head right - destroy the silver leafs with Reducto and then speak with the snake with Harry to get this character token.
    • Macnair
      • (F) Similar to Hufflepuff's crest, only earned by destroying the right black rock.

Unlockables[]

Professor Lupin, Cornelius Fudge, and Macnair can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to The Dark Tower.
