Death Star Escape is the fourth level in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. It is the fourth level of A New Hope.
Story[]
Han, Luke, Chewie and Leia venture across the Death Star to escape. When they reach the Falcon, Vader kills Obi-Wan. The Falcon then escapes.
Walkthrough[]
Death Star Subsector 3[]
When you start the level, you will have to defeat seven Stormtroopers. Imperial Navy Troopers and Imperial Navy Lieutenants do not count. However, several of them attack you at the beginning of the level, so defeat them. Go to the hallway in the upper right corner of the area and hit a target to disable a barrier. Defeat seven Stormtroopers, go to the upper left hallway, and then walk down the second lower left hallway. Continue defeating enemies and head towards an arrow to move to the next area.
Death Star Subsector 2[]
In the next area, head to the end of the lower left hallway defeating enemies and hit a target to disable a barrier. Go to the upper left hallway defeating enemies and then go to a locked door in the upper right hallway to proceed to the next area.
Death Star Hangar[]
In the next area, use C-3PO on a protocol panel to open the locked door in the previous area.
Death Star Subsector 2 (Again)[]
Upon returning to the previous area, the door that was closed will now be open. Continue down the upper right hallway, then go to the upper left hallway and hit a target to make the arrow to the next area appear (even though the door is still closed).
Tie Fighter Hangar[]
In the next area, defeat all the enemies, go down the ledge in the lower left corner of the hangar and continue down the lower left hallway defeating enemies. When you reach the end of the lower left hallway, continue down the upper left hallway defeating more enemies and go to the arrow pointing you to the next area.
Death Star Subsector 1[]
In the next area, continue down the upper left hallway defeating enemies, build a bridge and continue down the upper left hallway. When you reach the end of the hallway, continue down the upper right hallway a bit and go to the upper left hallway. Defeat enemies and go to the end of the lower left hallway to go to an arrow that will take you to the final area of the level.
Death Star Hangar (Again)[]
In the final area of the level, continue to the end of the lower right hallway defeating enemies and then go to the upper left hallway. At the end of the upper left hallway, enter the Millennium Falcon to finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Canisters
- (S) In the first area, as you go down the upper left hallway, head to the lower left hallway. Use a buildable character to build a bridge and cross it to find this minikit.
- (F) As you proceed through the upper left hallway of the first area, enter the Death Star Control Room by going to the door pointed by an arrow. In that room, proceed down the upper right hallway defeating six Stormtroopers, then go to the end of the upper left hallway and destroy three barrels on the left side of a TIE Fighter to reveal three Imperial Navy Troopers. Defeat them to reveal this minikit on the upper left edge. Use a Jedi character to reach it.
- (F) At the end of the first area, use a buildable character to build a protocol panel and use a protocol droid on it to open the door to the Mess Hall. There, defeat four Stormtroopers and grab this minikit located in the middle of the table.
- (S) After deactivating the barrier in the second area, go to the lower left hallway and you will find this minikit in the left corner.
- (S) This minikit is floating to the right of the third area. It is possible to grab it with an astromech droid.
- (F) After going down the ledge in the fourth area, use a buildable character to build a Bespin panel and then use Lando Calrissian on it to open a door to the Ventilation Substation. At the Ventilation Substation, defeat five Imperial Navy Troopers, go to the upper corner and jump to this minikit to obtain it (no Jedi character required).
- (S) At the end of the fourth area, go to the lower right hallway, defeat all the enemies and you will find this minikit in the corner above.
- (S) Before going to the last upper left hallway of the fifth area, go to the upper right hallway and then go to the end of the lower right hallway defeating enemies to find this minikit.
- (F) As you head to the Millennium Falcon in the final area, use a buildable character to build an Imperial panel. Then, use an Imperial member on the panel to open the door to a room and defeat all the enemies to find this minikit in the back.
- (F) At the end of the level, you will find this minikit floating in the air of the Millennium Falcon. Climb to the roof of the Falcon and use a Jedi character to reach this minikit.
Unlockables[]
An Imperial Navy Trooper will be available to purchase after obtaining all minikits in this level. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy Han Solo. You will also be able to continue to Trench Run.
