Dark Times is the first level from LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. It is the first level of Order of the Phoenix.
Story[]
In 1995, while staying at the Dursleys' house, Harry Potter and Dudley are attacked by Dementors. Harry repels them using an Expecto Patronum spell. The Ministry of Magic detects that Harry, a minor, is using magic and expels him from Hogwarts, although he is later exonerated. The Order of the Phoenix, a secret organization founded by Professor Dumbledore, informs Harry that the Ministry of Magic is attempting to block rumors of Lord Voldemort's return. At the Order headquarters, Harry's godfather, Sirius Black, mentions that Voldemort is searching for an item he was previously missing; Harry thinks it's a gun.
Walkthrough[]
Playground[]
Your adventure begins in the playground, where you will have to leave. Approach the bushes, behind which there is a closed gate. With Harry's help, push away the bushes with the Wingardium Leviosa spell by holding down the action button. Then press the alternate attack button to switch to Dudley. So, stand near the closed passage and pull the orange handle while holding down the action button. Return to Harry by holding down the alternate attack button. Target the car crash and destroy it with a spell. Then you have a task for Dudley. Go to the orange handle on the front of the car and pull it. By destroying the remains of a car you can get bricks with which to build a bridge. Approach the pile of bricks and hold the action button to build a bridge. There is another closed door ahead, reach it and pull the orange handle with Dudley. This is where you will have to build a ladder to get out of the playground. To get the bricks needed to build them, you will have to knock down the cars on top. Switch to Harry and cast a spell on the carts (you have to take them both down). Place the bricks in such a way that you can reach the top. Use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to stack and organize the bricks. Head into the tunnel to go to the next area.
Tunnel[]
In the next area, you will be attacked by Dementors. The only ability effective against them is the Expecto Patronum spell, which you have automatically equipped when entering the area. However, you can't defeat all of them because they spawn infinitely. You'll move on to the next area when one of them attacks Dudley.
The River Thames[]
In the next area, you won't have any objectives to complete; instead, you will move automatically. You can get a lot of studs, but be careful not to hit yourself. You will move on to the next area when you reach Hogwarts.
Hogwarts Park[]
In the next area, you must find and save your companions. Kingsley Shacklebolt comes to your aid. First of all, go right. There is a gazebo, next to which there is a green clipboard. Unfortunately, it is locked with a silver padlock. Switch to Kingsley and use the Reducto spell to unlock the lock. Bricks will fly out from inside - use the Wingardium Leviosa spell on them and create a hammer. Then, use the latter to destroy the roof of the gazebo and free the first missing companion. Then, go left. Find the damaged tool cart and fold it using the Wingardium Leviosa spell. The second missing person will jump from there. Then run to the left tree at the top. The Wingardium Leviosa spell will allow you to collect and place two purple flowers in the correct places. This will cut down the tree and free another person. Once you've saved three companions, head to the fountain and use the Wingardium Leviosa spell on one of the statues. The rest of the group will do the same to free Mad-Eye Moody. But it turns out that Moody has lost his cane. Fortunately, it is not far away - it is located next to the fountain. Pick it up and bring it back to him. Switch to Moody and leave the park. Stand at the designated spot indicated by the glowing circle and use the staff by pressing the action button to move to the next area.
Ministry of Magic[]
In the next area, your partner will be Arthur Weasley. First, you need to fix the brush cart. For this task, switch to Arthur, who has a special repair ability. Approach the broken cart and press the action button. After this operation, the brushes will clean the chimney. Then, using the Wingardium Leviosa spell, you can place the bricks found in the fireplace - this will allow you to use it. After passing through the chimney, head to the right where you will see a fountain. Unscrew the red valve. Then assemble the bricks and launch the plane using the Wingardium Leviosa spell. This way, a guard will open the door - go through it to go to the final area of the level.
Conference room[]
In the final area of the level, you will encounter a sorcerer who has lost his toad. You'll find it behind some destroyed blue bars. To open it, use Arthur's repair skill. When you open the barred door, pick up the toad and take it to the wizard. As a reward, the wizard will give you some bricks - use them by using the Wingardium Leviosa spell to assemble a green valve. Pick up the item and place it on the elevator wall. This way you can reach the underworld of the Ministry of Magic and finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- House Crests
- Gryffindor
- (F) This crest is obtained after cleaning all the trash in the park. To do this, you need to fix the cleaner - Arthur Weasley can do it. There are five piles of trash to clean:
- The first one is in front of the fountain.
- The second one is on the far right, near the gazebo.
- The third one is under the fountain.
- The fourth one is to the left of the fountain.
- The fifth one is on the far left near a tree.
- (F) This crest is obtained after cleaning all the trash in the park. To do this, you need to fix the cleaner - Arthur Weasley can do it. There are five piles of trash to clean:
- Slytherin
- (F) You get this crest after cutting the bushes on the playground. You need a lawnmower built from red bricks. They are at the garage door. Use Diffindo to cut the door and use the bricks to build the lawnmower. Then you have to cut down five bushes:
- The first one is near the green slide.
- The second one is against the left wall of the garage.
- The third one is a little further down to the right of the previous one.
- The fourth one is to the left of the tunnel that leads to the next area.
- The fifth one is far to the right of the previous one.
- (F) You get this crest after cutting the bushes on the playground. You need a lawnmower built from red bricks. They are at the garage door. Use Diffindo to cut the door and use the bricks to build the lawnmower. Then you have to cut down five bushes:
- Hufflepuff
- (F) This crest is in the playground - you need to take the orange box out of the sandbox and climb to the top with a member of the Weasley family.
- Ravenclaw
- (S) This crest can be obtained by flying on broomsticks - shoot the five buoys that are bobbing in the water (you can use any spell). Please note that you will have to restart the level if you miss a buoy.
- The first one is a little before the drawbridge.
- The second one is between the second and third bridges.
- The third one is a little before the fifth bridge.
- The fourth one is under the fifth bridge, a little after the previous buoy.
- The fifth one is near the second to last ship, near the end of the area.
- (S) This crest can be obtained by flying on broomsticks - shoot the five buoys that are bobbing in the water (you can use any spell). Please note that you will have to restart the level if you miss a buoy.

- (F) You can find this student after leaving the playground - save him using a character who knows how to use Dark Magic.

Elphias Doge, Arthur (Suit), and Dudley (Grey Top) can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to Dumbledore's Army.
