Graphics and textures[]
- In the game, the school characters use the 2004–2007 style torsos and legs, but in prototypes from 2010 and early promotional screenshots the characters are shown to have black pants and the 2010 print rather than the 2004 print.
- Ravenclaw characters in early prototypes used blue and yellow colours for their emblem rather than blue and gray emblems.
- The icons for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues used the same icon style as the Sailor from LEGO Batman: The Videogame; this was cut when they implemented their own icon style that is used in Indiana Jones 2, Years 1-4 and a few panel icons for LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.
