Cloud City Trap is the twenty-fifth level in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It is the fifth and final level of The Empire Strikes Back.

Story[]
The Falcon arrives in Cloud City and Han sees his old friend Lando Calrissian, who is not very happy to see him. So it turns out that Lando is allied with Vader. Han is then frozen in carbonite. Lando changes his mind and helps the Rebels. They pursue bounty hunter Boba Fett, but he escapes on Slave 1 with Han. Meanwhile, Luke arrives at Cloud City from another landing pad. He fights Darth Vader. At the end of the duel, Vader cuts off Luke's right hand and takes out a photo of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé, revealing that he is Luke's father. Luke lets go of what he's holding on to and falls through a tunnel and hangs beneath Cloud City. R2 escapes from Vader and meets up with Lando, Leia and Chewie. The Rebels fight in Cloud City and escape on the Falcon. However, Leia senses that Luke is in danger and rescues him and the ship escapes. Luke is dealt a new hand.
Walkthrough[]
You start in an isolated area. Go right as you defeat four Stormtroopers and you'll see Boba Fett running away towards a door. Destroy a nearby grate and pull a lever to extend a ladder. Climb the ladder and go to the door where Boba fled through to reach the next area.
In the next area, you will face Boba in boss battle. He will start hover and shoot at you. Take out your blaster and shoot him several times to take out his four hearts, only to have him run away afterwards. Follow him to the previous area.
Returning to the previous area, you'll see Boba use a bounty hunter panel to open the door to the next area. Go right, defeat two Stormtroopers, and go through the door Boba just opened to reach the next area.
In the next area, you'll see Boba running away towards a door. Continue to the right while defeating Stormtroopers and go through the door Boba fled from to reach the next area.
In the next area, you will see Boba escape in Slave 1 and you will suddenly be taken to the next area.
In the next area, you will be with Luke and R2. Go right and you will see two platforms to the north. Use R2 to reach the platform on the left and use an astromech panel to extend a small platform to the right. Return to the circular platform, switch to Luke and double jump to reach the platform on the right. There, build an astromech panel and use R2 on it to open the door that will take you to the next area.
In the next area, go right while defeating four Stormtroopers and two Imperial Officers. Then, use R2 on an astromech panel to open the door that will take you to the next area.
In the next area, go right and then go down some stairs to the south to begin a battle against Darth Vader. He has nine hearts. Take out your lightsaber and hit him a few times to take out two hearts, only for him to jump into some ventilation circles. If you try to get close to him, he will jump to another vent circle, so you won't be able to hit him. Switch to R2 and use an astromech panel in the upper right corner of the circular platform to draw steam from the vent and stun Vader. Switch to Luke and quickly hit Vader to remove another heart so he can attack you again. Repeat this same process three times and Vader will jump to the walkway on the right side and escape towards a door. Switch to R2 and hover over the chasm to reach the walkway on the right and use an astromech panel to extend two small platforms. The door through which Vader escaped will be blocked by an Imperial panel. Switch to Luke, go up the stairs you came down and use a hat dispenser to put on a Stormtrooper helmet. Then, double jump to reach the walkway on the right (don't fall into the chasm to avoid losing your helmet) and use your helmet on the Imperial panel to open the door that will take you to the next area.
In the next area, Vader will be on a ledge far to the north, guarded by two Stormtroopers. If you try to defeat the Stormtroopers by deflecting their shots with your lightsaber, they will respawn infinitely. Switch to R2, hover over the gap and use two astromech panels to close the trapdoors where the Stormtroopers respawn, also defeating the one standing there. This will cause three objects to fall, which Vader will use to attack Luke. Return to the main ledge, switch to Luke and use the Force on one of the objects Vader throws at you to return it to him, causing him to jump to the main ledge. This time, he has four hearts. When you take away his first two hearts, he will return to the far ledge and the infinite respawn of Stormtroopers will return. Repeat the same process to take the last two hearts from Vader, only to have him return to the far ledge. Repeat the same process one more time and when you return a object to Vader, he will be dragged to the window near him. Use Luke's Force on the window pieces to build a platform and use it to reach the far ledge with Luke. There, jump to the window where you dragged Vader to reach the next area.
In the next area, Vader will have ten hearts. Take three hearts from him and he will jump to the high platform on the right. To reach it, jump to the lower platform on the right and use R2 on an astromech panel to activate an elevator. Use the elevator to get to the high platform with Vader, but make sure to use Luke. There, remove three hearts from Vader and he will jump to the far right of the walkway. Follow him and remove his last four hearts to return to the fourth area.
Upon returning to the fourth area, you will return to Leia, Lando, and Chewie, but R2 will now be on your team. Go left and go through a door to return to the third area.
When you return to the third area, you will see that the floor on the left will be electrified. Use R2 to hover over it and use an astromech panel to disable the floor's electricity. Then, go left and you will find two doors. Use R2 to open the left door (the one with an astromech panel next to it) and reach the next area.
In the next area, you will find an Ugnaught, which will not do anything to you. On the left side, push a plug to release a lever and pull it to activate a conveyor belt and reveal a box. Destroy the box to rebuild C-3PO, who will join your team. Go through the door on the left to return to the previous area.
Returning to the previous area, use 3PO to open the door on the right (the one with a protocol panel next to it) and reach the next area.
In the next area, defeat all the enemies and you will find two elevators. The one on the left has a bounty hunter panel, while the one on the right has an Imperial panel. Return to the previous area and use a hat dispenser on the right to put on a Stormtrooper helmet. Then, go back to the next area and use the Imperial panel on the elevator on the right to reach the next area.
In the next area, go right while defeating all the enemies and you will find another electric floor. Use R2 to hover over it and use an astromech panel to disable the floor's electricity. Then, go right and go through the north door to reach the next area.
In the next area, have both characters step on two buttons on either side to reveal two levers. Then, have two non-droid characters pull them to reveal a lever in the previous area. Head south to return to the previous area.
Returning to the previous area, go left while defeating enemies and, after crossing the electric floor you disabled, you will see the lever you just revealed. Pull it to open a door next to it and go through the door to finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Canisters
- (S) At the beginning of the level, you'll see a protocol panel next to a door to the north. Use a protocol droid on the panel to open the door and reach a special area. There, destroy two boxes in the center to build two targets. Then, use a character with blaster to shoot those targets and reveal this minikit in the center. It is possible to obtain this minikit in Story after C-3PO joins your team in the tenth area and then return to the first area.
- (F) Find three grape blocks throughout the level to get this minikit:
- On the far right of the first area, destroy a box to reveal this grape block.
- In the sixth area, destroy a box near the bounty hunter panel that leads to the sixth minikit to reveal this grape block.
- When you find two elevators in the eleventh area, choose the one on the left. Inside that elevator, use a bounty hunter on a bounty hunter panel to activate the elevator and reach a special area. There, destroy two boxes in the upper right corner to reveal this grape block.
- (S) In the first area, you will see three doors. Use an astromech droid to open the central door (the one with an astromech panel) and reach a special area. There, use a hover character to hover over a gap and reach the ledge on the right with this minikit. It is possible to obtain this minikit in Story after R2-D2 you complete the ninth area and return to the fourth area.
- (F) In the second area, you will see a lamp in the center. Use a Jedi character on it to destroy it and reveal this minikit.
- (F) On the platform with an astromech panel in the fifth area, you'll see this minikit behind a silver grate. Use a bounty hunter to destroy the silver grate and get this minikit.
- (F) On the left side of the sixth area, you'll see a bounty hunter panel next to the north door. Use a bounty hunter on the panel to open the door and find this minikit.
- (S) On the right side of the main ledge of the eighth area, you will see this minikit under a grate on the floor. Use a Jedi Slam to destroy the grate and reach this minikit.
- (S) At the beginning of the ninth area, use a double jump character to jump to a platform to the south and find this minikit.
- (F) On the high right platform of the ninth area, you will see an Imperial panel on the left side. Use an Imperial member on it to open a door next to it and find this minikit.
- (S) On the left side of the twelfth area, use a character with blaster on a grapple point to reach the platforms above. There, use a hover character to reach the platform on the right and reach this minikit. It is possible to obtain this minikit in Story by using the grapple point with Lando, Leia or Chewie and then hovering to the platform with R2, only if the second character is a character with blaster or 3PO.
- Score x10 Red Power Brick
- (F) A little to the left of the electrical floor in the twelfth area, you'll see a red and black control panel. Use a Sith character on it to destroy it and open the door that will take you to a special area. There, use a character with blaster to destroy an icicle on the ceiling and reveal this Red Power Brick in the center of the table.
Unlockables[]
The minikit model in this level is a Cloud Car. After completing the level, you unlock Princess Leia (Bespin), Luke Skywalker (Bespin) and Lando Calrissian. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy Lobot, an Ugnaught, a Bespin Guard and Princess Leia (Prisoner). After collecting the Red Power Brick, you can purchase Score x10.
