A Civilian in Peril (known as Student in Peril in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, Stan Lee in Peril in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO Marvel's Avengers, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, Adam West in Peril in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, and Worker in Peril in LEGO Jurassic World) is a person that puts themself in a perilous situation and needs to be rescued.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame[]

In LEGO Batman: The Videogame, there are civilians in each level (except the vehicle levels) that are being mugged. Strangely these civilians need to be saved in the villain missions too. When you save all 25, Hush will be available to buy. Unlike the later games, civilians in peril are not major collectables and flash "#/25" when you rescue them, similarly to how Han Solo in LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is unlocked when you find five Star Wars characters.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7[]

Civilians in Peril become major as Students in Peril. Around Hogwarts, there are students who got themselves in sticky situations and need to be set free. The levels themselves each have one Student in Peril. You get a Gold Brick for each Student you save.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes[]

In LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, there are civilians in Gotham City who got in dangerous situations and need a hero. You get a Gold Brick for the citizens you save.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO Marvel's Avengers, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2[]

In the LEGO Marvel games, Stan Lee got into a dangerous situation and needed a hero to save him. It is a reference to his cameos in every Marvel movie. After you save him everywhere, he will be playable. When you play as him, he turns out to have every power, meaning he was totally capable of saving himself.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham[]

In LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Adam West (who portrayed Batman in the 1966 television series) got into unsafe situations and was in need of saving.

LEGO Jurassic World[]

Civilians in Peril become major as Workers in Peril. Unlike the other games, these are not found in levels, but rather are found in hub worlds. Rescuing a Worker in Peril will allow you to buy it to play with it.

LEGO Dimensions[]

In LEGO Dimensions, citizens in peril are in every level of the game, and are different characters depending on which level you're in.
