C-3PO is a character that is playable in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.
Story[]
C-3PO played a major role in the Original Trilogy consisting of three episodes (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi). When Darth Vader and his army enter the Tantive IV, Leia helped C-3PO and his droid companion R2-D2 escape the Tantive IV via an escape pod. He and R2 landed on Tatooine where the two were sold to Luke Skywalker by the Jawas. However in the game, the player is tasked to rescue C-3PO and R2 after being taken by the Jawas once again and get Luke, Obi-Wan, R2, and C-3PO to their new hideout. When Han and Chewbacca followed the Imperial Spy (which wasn't in the move also) near the Millennium Falcon, C-3PO met up with Han and Chewie along with Luke, Obi-Wan, and R2. After Luke, Han, and Chewie rescue Princess Leia, they end up in the garbage room which was slowly closing. Luke tries to contact C-3PO about the situation, but not until R2 and 3PO arrive to the room, where the two saved the others from being crushed to death.
