Brick by Brick is the third mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the third mission to take place in Cherry Tree Hills.

We Need Bricks to Build the Helipad[]
- [When starting the mission]
- Officer Lawson: There's a news team doing a feature about the LEGO City Police Department. They're arriving by helicopter, but the helipad is still under construction! We need 300 Super Bricks to finish building it. Every LEGO object contains Super Bricks. [A small Super Brick appears] You probably already have some, but this one is worth 200 Super Bricks.

Walkthrough[]
Mission Prelude[]
After completing the previous mission, a designated place will appear on the roof of The Police Station. Take someone else's vehicle and return to the Police Station. You'll see Lawson on the roof. Climb the stairs on the west side and then climb a ladder to reach the roof. Then, talk to Lawson to start the mission.
Mission Walkthrough[]
Lawson will tell you that a news team is arriving at the Police Station by helicopter, but that the Helipad is under construction. To build the Helipad, you will need 300 bricks. Lawson will give you a Super Brick worth 200 bricks. Grab it and if you don't have enough bricks, break more objects to get more bricks. When you have more than 300 bricks, go to the gray pad and use the 300 bricks to build the Helipad. After building the Helipad, the helicopter will arrive, where Natalia and the news team will come. After watching a scene, you will see a worker in danger. Go to the construction site and he will tell you to use your detective abilities to find the hidden parts. Press A on the designated place that appears near you to follow the footprints and find a buried key. Grab it, place it on the lock next to it, and turn it to open the left garage door. Inside that garage, destroy a brown box in the upper left corner to reveal a toolbox. Grab it and take it to a green pad near a control panel to build a lever. Pull it to lower the platform and save the worker.
However, the mission is not over yet. Dunby will tell you that a farmer is in danger in the playground east of the station. Go to the designated place that will appear on the playground. The farmer will tell you that the Knuckles Gang has rigged his lawnmower and he can't stop it. To stop it, go to the east side of the playground and destroy a brown box to build a lever. Pull it to activate an elevator that will take you to the ledge above. Go left and destroy a blue wheelbarrow to build a blue handhold. Use the next handholds to cross the fence on the left, destroy a box and continue left. Use a railing to cross the next fence and destroy a large brown box to build a cart. Push it to the right to destroy a sturdy box. Use the revealed pieces to build a crane and pull a lever to lower it. The farmer will hold on to the crane and be safe. After that, the mission will be completed.
