Beachside Cave is the seventh custom level of the original adventures portion from LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. It is the second custom level of Temple of Doom.
Walkthrough[]
Level Prelude[]
You will need the Village Elder to open the entrance to this level. Once you have him, head to the beach at the bottom center of the hub world. The cave that leads to this level is just to the right of the deep canyon with the waterfall and two bridges. Use the Village Elder to solve the hieroglyphics puzzle to open the door so you can enter the cave and start the level.
Level Walkthrough[]
You start on the upper right ledge. You still can't do anything with the silver rocks, so ignore them for now and head to the lower left area. Push a brown box along the checkerboard tiles all the way, then have both characters grab grenades from the chest on the left. Climb to the top of the hatch. Jump to grab the handhold above, then climb onto the starting ledge. Throw the grenade you grabbed from the chest at the silver rocks to destroy them and reveal a spear. Grab the spear and throw it into one of the sockets at the bottom. Switch to Short Round, drop down on the ledge in the foreground and crawl through the hatch to emerge on the raised platform in the middle of the pool. Turn a crank to raise the water level and lift 3 platforms out of the water, then swim or jump to the ledge at the bottom. Grab a second spear from the shelf to the left, then jump back across the 3 platforms to the raised ledge in the middle of the pool. Throw the spear into the second socket in the far wall. Go to the ledge under the spears and slots. Use the spears to climb up to the ledge above. Stand to one side of the first spinning saw blade, in front of it, and run past it as it moves to the other side. Repeat this with the other 2 saws, then grab the Artifact to end the level.
