Beach Pit is the twelfth custom level of the original adventures portion from LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. It is the second custom level of The Last Crusade.
Walkthrough[]
Level Prelude[]
On the beach in the lower right of Venice, use Sallah's shovel to dig up a patch of glittering sand. Build a handle for the lever from the loose pieces you dig up. Then pull the lever to open a trapdoor and drop down to this level.
Level Walkthrough[]
You start on a flat surface. Switch to Elsa if you're not already controlling her and jump to the high ledge to the left. Fight the Soldier there and turn a crank to raise a platform in the pool on the right. Use the new platform to cross over to the area on the right, then fight 2 Soldiers waiting for you there. Use Indy's whip to pull an orange ring on the back wall. This will open the door on the right. Go through the door and fight 2 more Soldiers. Use Elsa to jump onto the ledge on the far right. Then pull a lever to raise the ramp at the bottom, dropping a LEGO rock into the pool and activating a moving platform in the corner of the pool just below the ramp. Still controlling Elsa, use that platform to reach the ledge at the bottom. Grab a sword from a chest, return to the middle room and drop the sword to cut the top left wire. This will lower the 3 gray platforms over the pool. Continuing with Elsa, jump onto the lowest of the 3 gray platforms. Note that the platforms are not exactly parallel to each other; the second and third are further back. Jump across the platforms to the ledge on the left where the Soldier is standing, who you will have to defeat so that he does not bother you. Grab a spear from the chest and throw it into the socket in the wall on the left. Switch to Indy, move to the edge of the pool on the far left and jump to grab the spear sticking out of the wall. Jump from there to the ledge above, then use Indy's whip to pull an orange ring in the back left corner. This will lower a fourth gray platform above the middle pool. Although you can use the orange rings above to get Indy to the ledge to the left, it's best to ignore them as the gray platform you lowered is too high for him to reach. Instead, switch back to Elsa, as with her jumping ability, she can easily jump to the lowest platform, then the platform to the right, and finally the ledge with the Artifact to end the level.
