Battle on the Bridge is the twelfth level from LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. It is the sixth and final level of Temple of Doom.

Story[]

Indiana Jones and friends climb to the top of the cliff, where they are reunited with eachother, and run through the jungle to escape. Upon approaching a giant rope bridge, Indiana and the gang see Mola Ram and his goons on the other side of the bridge. Indiana, Willie and Short Round step onto the middle of the bridge, luring Mola and the Thuggee onto the bridge as well. Indiana, in a daring and desparate move, chops the strings holding the bridge in half, sending the Thuggee to their doom. Indiana, his friends and Mola hang on to one side of the bridge. Mola tries to grab Indy's heart, but Indiana retaliates, with Mola falling to a watery grave. Indiana, Willie and Short Round return the stones and the children to the village. Indiana and Willie kiss, but are interrupted by Short Round and an elephant, squirting water and make the plants grow in the shape of a heart.

Walkthrough[]

You start in the mine. It doesn't matter if you run away from the water or it catches you, you will go to the next area regardless of what you do.

In the next area, use the whip to cross a gap and climb up a vine. Then switch to the others and use Short Round to get into a hatch and find a key, then put it in the mechanism and turn around for the group to rejoin. Then switch to Indy to drop a rock and build some handholds to go to the next area.

In the next area, be careful not to fall into the spiked pits and you will have to interact with three statues to open the door. For the red color, defeat the Thuggees so Short Round can put on a helmet and build a trapdoor for him to reach this statue. For the blue color, use Indy's whip to go down a ladder and make sure you're wearing a Thuggee helmet to interact with the statue. For the green color, use Willie to reach this statue and make sure she is wearing a helmet to interact with the statue. Then take the items to the matching skulls to open the door that leads to the next area.

In the next area, be careful not to fall and use Indy's whip to destroy a balcony and continue. Then destroy 2 objects to lower a bridge. One using Indy and the other using Short Round to continue. Then use Short Round to enter a trap door and activate a rope and switch to Willie to activate another and reveal a button- Press the button to go to the final area of the level.

In the final area of the level, defeat a wave of Thuggees to get Mola to come. If he comes, he will stun your character. Switch to the other one to damage him. Do this four times and he will run away. Destroy four ropes to finish the level.

Collectibles[]

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

Artifact Treasures
1. (F) Use a character with explosives to destroy a metal wall at the beginning of the level. You must be quick to grab this artifact or else the water will grab you.
2. (S) Located at the end of the first area. You must run away from the water to get it.
3. (S) Located below the Indy side of the second area. You can return by using a lever to raise a platform.
4. (S) In the area where you find a key, use a shovel to get this artifact.
5. (F) Use a character with a book to solve a puzzle and make the rocks go up to get this artifact.
6. (S) Located on the penultimate hole of the third area.
7. (S) Use a shovel to dig up a vase and take it to the button to turn it into an artifact.
8. (S) Located behind a stone in the third area.
9. (S) Jump between the platforms in the fourth area to get to this artifact.
10. (S) On the left side near the door that takes you to the final area, flowers will appear if you step on the places they will appear. Make a smiley face to reveal this artifact.

Regenerate Hearts Parcel
- (F) On the right side of the tenth minikit, destroy some plants to enter a secret area. Use a character with explosives to reveal a katana and a box. Use the katana to reveal another box and put them in the green pad to build the mailbox. Use a shovel to dig up the parcel and place it in the mailbox.

Unlockables[]

The minikit model in this level is a Ceremonial Headdress. In Barnett College you can buy Mola Ram, British Officer, British Soldier and British Commander. After collecting the Parcel, you can purchase Regenerate Hearts.
