LEGO Batman: The Videogame[]

When multiple super-villains broke out of Arkham Asylum, Batman and Robin were called by Commissioner Gordon to catch them. They defeated Clayface at Gotham Bank.[1] Then, they went to the Ice Cream Factory to defeat Mr. Freeze.[2] After that, they chased Two-Face and the Riddler who were in Two-Face's Truck.[3] They fought Poison Ivy at the Botanical Gardens,[4] then defeated Riddler and Two-Face when they were robbing the Gotham Gold Reserves.[5]

Batman and Robin chased Catwoman on the rooftops.[6] Then, they fought Penguin's Submarine[7] and followed Killer Croc into the sewers.[8] Batman and Robin defeated Man-Bat at the zoo,[9] then defeated Penguin and Catwoman at Arctic World as they were unleashing Penguin's minions onto Gotham.[10]

After defeating Mad Hatter,[11] Batman and Robin went to the amusement park where the Joker and Harley Quinn were holding Commissioner Gordon hostage. They defeated Harley and freed Gordon.[12] Then, they fought the Scarecrow in the skies.[13] After that, they fought Killer Moth,[14] then defeated Joker and Harley Quinn at the cathedral.[15]

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes[]

At Harbourside Theatre, Bruce Wayne competes against Lex Luthor for the Man of the Year award and wins. However, Joker sabotages the event and steals the award. After defeating some villains at the theatre,[16] Batman and Robin chase after Joker and defeat him at Amusement Mile. There, Superman arrives and asks them if they need help, but Batman refuses.[17]

Back at the Batcave, they are alerted about a breakout at Arkham Asylum. Batman and Robin drive to Arkham and chase down escaped villains in the maze.[18] They go inside the asylum to investigate and find some glowing black bricks.[19] After that, they go to Ace Chemicals to investigate a break-in. When they find some chemicals, an explosion goes off. While trying to escape, they are saved by Superman, to Batman's annoyance. Batman scans the chemicals with the Batcomputer remote tie-in and finds out that they were made to make some form of kryptonite.[20] Batman and Robin then chase after Luthor and Joker in the LexCorp Juggernaut and steal the kryptonite.[21] They take it back to the Batcave, where they find out that it's actually a homing device. Lex and Joker break into the Batcave, steal the hidden stash of kryptonite, then blow the Batcave up. Robin calls Superman to help him and Batman escape. Superman arrives and flies them out and then teams up with Batman to go after Lex and Joker.[22]

Batman and Superman follow Lex and Joker to LexCorp in Metropolis,[23] where they find out that Lex and Joker are building a giant Joker Robot powered by kryptonite. The Joker Robot takes off towards Gotham City, where Lex plans to use Joker gas at a rally to make the citizens vote for him in the presidential election.[24] Batman and Superman follow it and manage to make it crash.[25] After battling the robot in the subway system,[26] the two follow it to City Hall, where Lex's rally is held. They sabotage the Joker Robot's flower which dispenses the Joker gas, then battle it on the roof. Superman punches its core full of kryptonite and is weakened. Joker uses the Deconstructor weapon to try and destroy Batman, but Robin saves him.[27] The two then drive around the city, tricking the robot into creating a help signal with the kryptonite leaking from it. Martian Manhunter sees it from the Watchtower and calls the Justice League to help.[28] The Joker Robot attacks Wayne Tower as the Justice League show up. They battle it on top of the tower and knock it off causing it to crash land and fail to get up.[29] The Justice League then destroy the robot and defeat Lex and Joker. After Lex and Joker are arrested, Batman admits he couldn't have defeated them without help.[30]

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham[]

In the sewers, Batman and Robin chase after Killer Croc, who manages to escape.[31] Back at the Batcave, Batman looks through a telescope and is mind-controlled by Brainiac. He fights Robin and Alfred, but Robin is able to free him from the mind control with a speech. Robin sites the speech for freeing him, but Batman claims that it was the electric shock they used on him which freed him.[32] Batman and Robin then head to space, where super-villains have taken over the Watchtower.[33] Batman and Superman defeat Lex and Joker.[34]

After they have defeated the villains, Brainiac appears at the Watchtower and tells them his plans of shrinking the Earth. The heroes and villains agree to team up against Brainiac. They use the Watchtower's grapple to attach to Brainiac's ship[35] and board it. They fight Brainiac, who escapes. Wonder Woman follows him, along with Batman and Superman, and they all land in Europe. Brainiac plans to shrink cities instead of the whole world, and shrinks Paris, London, and Pisa.[36]

Brainiac is defeated in Gotham, where he is put in a cage built by the Flash.[37] At the Watchtower, the heroes plan to go to the different Lantern Corps planets and get their power batteries so they can use their power with a crystal to restore the Earth's size. Batman disguises as the Joker and goes with some others to Ysmault for the red power battery,[38] then Okaara for the orange one.[39] When they go to Qward, Batman uses his emotions to obtain the power battery, as they require their respectful emotion to get them.[40]

At the Fortress of Solitude, everyone meets up with all of the power batteries. However, Atrocitus, Larfleeze, and Sinestro arrive to get them back. The heroes then trick them into firing their beams towards the laser. Along with the friendly Lantern Corps members doing this, the Earth is restored to its normal size. However, Brainiac appears and turn Superman giant, then mind controls him to attack the heroes. Meanwhile, the villains who previously helped the heroes go to make Lex Luthor president. Batman uses a speech to free Superman from the mind control. Superman then defeats Brainiac and uses his shrink gun to shrink himself. The heroes then go to the White House to arrest Lex and the other villains.[41]

LEGO Dimensions[]

While chasing Bane (who possesses kryptonite) through Gotham, Batman witnesses Robin and the kryptonite being sucked into a portal. Batman follows him through the portal and ends up in Middle-earth, where he meets Gandalf. They go through another portal and end up in Cloud Cuckoo Land, where they meet Wyldstyle, and another version of Batman. As portals also took Frodo and MetalBeard, Gandalf and Wyldstyle's friends respectively, the three team up to find their friends. A portal takes them to Vorton, where they find the portal gateway.

Wyldstyle hears MetalBeard in the portal, so they take it and end up in Oz. They battle the Wicked Witch and collect the Shift Keystone.[42] Next, they end up in Springfield, where they battle Lord Business for an inanimate carbon rod, which he escapes with. After fighting the Joker and a reanimated Joker Robot, the three grab the Chroma Keystone and head back to Vorton.[43] They then end up in Ninjago where they find the Elemental Keystone on Chen's Island.[44] When they use the portal next, they get stuck in a rift loop and are saved by the Doctor. He takes them to "Dave" where they find the Scale Keystone.[45] After this, they go to Metropolis which is being invaded by Orcs. Here, they find the Locate Keystone.[46]

Next, they go to Hill Valley in 1885. Here, they meet Lord Vortech and fight him. When they return to Vorton, Gandalf accidentally breaks part of the portal which turns out to be X-PO. X-PO explains to the three that they need to find the Foundation Elements of the different dimensions.[47] They then arrive at Aperture Science Enrichment Center where they find the cake element.[48] Next, they go to Middle-earth and find the Palantir element.[49] Then, they go to New York and find the P.K.E. Meter.[50] Their next destination is a "trans-reality pocket dimension" where they find the Gold Token.[51] Finally, they go to a carnival where they find the Diamond Scarab, and meet Vortech again.[52]

X-PO sends the three to Foundation Prime to find their friends. There, they fight Vortech again, who combines all the Foundation Elements to create a green baseplate which allows him to do whatever he wants in all universes. He turns Robin, Frodo and MetalBeard into the Tri.[53] Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle end up at the Octan Tower, where they fight the Tri. They go through another rift which leads to Middle-earth before finally ending up in Gotham City. Here, they defeat the Tri and save their friends. The three then recruit people they've met from different universes to help them defeat Lord Vortech.[54] They fight Vortech and trap him in a rift loop with the help of the Doctor.[55]

LEGO DC Super-Villains[]

Batman arrives at the clocktower in Gotham City to fight Joker and Harley Quinn, who stole the Mother Box from Wayne Tech. As they escape, Batman and the rest of the Justice League are teleported away to Granny Goodness' Orphanage in Apokolips by the Crime Syndicate.[56][57] After escaping confinement in Apokolips, the Justice League go to the Watchtower and team up with super-villains to defeat the Crime Syndicate and Darkseid.[58] Batman goes with Joker and Flash to recruit Rā's al Ghūl and Deathstroke.[59] At the Hall of Justice, Batman battles Owlman before him and the rest of the Crime Syndicate are teleported back to Earth-3.[60] After that, Batman and Robin go to Wayne Tech to investigate the Mother Box. Steppenwolf arrives in Gotham and Batman and Catwoman fight him on the monorail.[61] After Darkseid realizes the Rookie absorbed the Anti-Life Equation from the Mother Box, he takes him to Apokolips. Batman goes with the other heroes and villains to Apokolips to defeat Darkseid. At Apokolips, Darkseid absorbs the Anti-Life Equation and fights the heroes and villains. He is defeated, and the heroes and villains are all teleported back to Earth by the Rookie.[62]

The LEGO Movie[]

The LEGO Movie Videogame[]

Batman was one of the master builders who fought against Lord Business' rule. Batman saved Emmet, Wyldstyle, and Vitruvius as they were falling off of a derailed train.[63] He then took them to Cloud Cuckoo Land, where they met with Unikitty and the other master builders.[64] After Emmet gave his speech to the master builders, Lord Business' forces attacked.[65] Batman, Emmet, Wyldstyle, Vitruvius, and Unikitty, along with Benny, escaped Cloud Cuckoo Land as it was being destroyed.[66] The submarine they built to escape started flooding, so they went in Emmet's double-decker couch to survive.[67] MetalBeard found the couch and rescued them with his pirate ship. On the ship, Emmet made a plan to infiltrate the Octan Tower.[68]

Inside the Octan Tower, Batman helped Emmet get close to the Kragle, Lord Business' superweapon. However, they were captured and sent to the Think Tank. The team freed themselves and battled with Lord Business. After decapitating Vitruvius, Lord Business imprisoned the Batman and the team in the Think Tank for termination.[69] Emmet, who was attached to the Think Tank's battery, sacrificed himself by throwing himself out the window, saving Batman and the others. As Lord Business flew to Bricksburg to unleash the Kragle, Batman and the others went to the Octan Tower's TV station to broadcast a message to the citizens across the world encouraging them to fight.[70] The team went to Bricksburg, where they battled against Lord Business' forces until Emmet returned and confronted Lord Business, encouraging him to disarm the Kragle.[71][72][73]

LEGO Dimensions (Story)[]

Batman was at Cloud Cuckoo Land with his friends when the version of Batman from the LEGO Batman games and Gandalf fell through a rift and ended up there. The two Batman argued over who was actually Batman. After MetalBeard gets sucked through a portal, Batman and the others agree to go on an adventure to find him; however, Wyldstyle, Gandalf, and the other Batman fall through another rift before everyone can proceed.

LEGO Dimensions (The LEGO Batman Movie)[]

Batman was a hero who worked primarily by himself to defeat criminals in Gotham City. When some super-villains attacked the Energy Plant, Batman had to make a choice to either defuse the bomb that was going to blow up the plant or to catch Joker, his self-proclaimed "greatest enemy". Batman decided to defuse the bomb.[74] Later, Bruce Wayne attends Commissioner Gordon's retirement party, where he meets Dick Grayson, a young orphan. Distracted by Barbara Gordon, Bruce agrees to adopt Dick. Back at the Batcave, Bruce finds Dick in the Batcave. Dick puts on a superhero suit and becomes Robin.

Trying to find a way to get rid of the Joker forever, Batman plans to infiltrate the Fortress of Solitude to steal the Phantom Zone Projector. He realizes he is too large to fit into the projector vault, so he recruits Robin to come with him. At the fortress, Batman and Robin sneak past Superman's party and enter the vault. Robin steals the projector and the two leave the fortress.[75] They break into Arkham Asylum, where Joker is imprisoned, and hit him with the Phantom Zone Projector, banishing him to the Phantom Zone. Batman and Robin are then arrested by the police. Harley Quinn uses the projector to unleash all of the villains in the Phantom Zone, who begin to wreak havoc on Gotham.[76]

Batman, Robin and Barbara (who becomes Batgirl) agree to team up to defeat the villains. After defeating a few villains with Robin and Batgirl, Batman locks them in the Batwing and leaves them on Wayne Island, then goes to take on Joker alone.[77] At the Batcave, Batman confronts Joker, who banishes him to the Phantom Zone. In the Phantom Zone, Batman begs the gatekeeper to return him to Gotham, but the gatekeeper refuses, seeing Batman as a bad guy. Batman negotiates with the gatekeeper and they agree to let Batman return to Gotham if he returns all of the escaped villains.[78] Batman returns to Gotham, where he works with Robin and Batgirl to return the villains to the Phantom Zone and defuse another bomb at the Energy Plant. They return the villains and defuse the bomb; however, Joker activates a backup plan which starts to split Gotham in half. Batman encourages the city to form a human ladder to reconnect the city. Batman admits to Joker that he is his greatest enemy and persuades him to help reconnect the city.[79]

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame[]

After the alien attacks on Bricksburg, Batman built a Batcave in Apocalypseburg. When General Mayhem attacked, Batman let people inside his Batcave for safety. General Mayhem attacked the Batcave and captured Batman and his friends.[80] They were sent to the Systar System, where Batman was to get married to Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi. Emmet and Wyldstyle (Lucy) went to go save them. When they got to the Ceremony, they crashed the wedding, making the Systarians sad. They then realized that it was a misunderstanding, and the Systar System just wanted to play with them. After that, they threw a party together.[81]

Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27. Bruce Wayne was an orphan after his parents Martha and Thomas Wayne were shot dead by Joe Chill. He was raised by his uncle Philip Wayne and was sent to Hudson Academy. In College, Bruce met his first girlfriend, Julie Madison. When Bruce said he wanted to become a police officer, Julie said she didn't want Bruce to be in a lot of danger. To find a way around this, Bruce decided he needed a disguise to fight crime in so Julie wouldn't know. Bruce needed something that would strike fear into the hearts of men, and that is where he came up with the idea of a bat. Bruce hired costume designers to design his bat costume in secret. Bruce then dawned the identity of Batman.

The classic Batman minifigure (2006)

Batman debuted in the 2006 7779 The Batman Dragster: Catwoman Pursuit set, wearing the suit that is later used in LEGO Batman: The Videogame. Batman's appearance changes in the 6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape set released in 2011, and looks closer to the 1990s black suit in the comics. This is the suit used in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and The LEGO Movie Videogame. Batman's look was changed once again to look more like his New 52 design in 2015, almost identical to his appearance in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The LEGO Dimensions Batman figure is the New 52 design but with the cowl used for his minifigure in the 76001 The Bat vs. Bane: Tumbler Chase set from 2012. Batman's suit was changed again in 2018 to appear as the Rebirth design. When The LEGO Movie 2 released, Batman was given a new post-apocalyptic look which also appeared in The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame and LEGO DC Super-Villains in a free update.
