A Tyrannosaurus Rex?

[Upon receiving a message from Vinnie]

Vinnie Pappalardo: Hey there, Chasey! You want a job?

Chase McCain: Sure, as long as it doesn't involve riding animals around...

Vinnie Pappalardo: Then I got bad news, because it kinda does.

Chase McCain: Really? What is it?

Vinnie Pappalardo: Someone I know wants the giant robot Tyrannosaurus Rex stolen from the museum.

Chase McCain: A Tyrannosaurus... Rex? Who, uh, would want that?

Vinnie Pappalardo: My "private buyer", but trust me, he's nobody you'd wanna meet. He's startin' to be a real... Ah, I shouldn't say. Just gimme a call once you've got it outta the museum.

Chase McCain: Sure thing, Vinnie. [He cuts the call]

A Job at the Museum

[Chase calls Ellie through his communicator]

Chase McCain: Ellie, I think I've got a lead on the Fury case.

Ellie Phillips: In Bluebell National Park?

Chase McCain: Uh, no... Vinnie called me about a job at the museum. I've gotta steal a robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Ellie Phillips: Okay... If my uncle calls to find out where you are, I'll square it with him.

Chase McCain: Thanks! And...maybe don't tell the Chief just yet?

Ellie Phillips: Sure... [She cuts the call]

Have You Found One of My Pigs?

[Upon receiving a message from Hayes]

Chase McCain: Farmer Hayes?

Jethro Hayes: Ah! Perfect! You 'aven't seen any of my pigs, 'ave you?

Chase McCain: The ones I just rounded up?

Jethro Hayes: Ah... Yeah. I turned my back and they hoofed it again. They'll be all over LEGO City by now. If you could just keep an eye out I would be indebted to ya. No hurry or anythin'.

Chase McCain: Yes, Mr Hayes.

Jethro Hayes: Great. And if you do find one, just pop 'em into the nearest pig cannon and they'll be fired right back 'ere.

Chase McCain: Oh...kay...? [He cuts the call]

Glide from the Roof of the Art Gallery to the Roof of the Museum

[Arriving at the museum, Chase calls Ellie through his communicator]

Chase McCain: Ellie, I'm at the museum but I don't see a way in.

Ellie Phillips: Yeah. I checked the blueprints, the only way in is from the rooftop... ...but there's no way to climb up there.

Chase McCain: It's ok, I've got an idea. Are there any taller buildings around here which can be climbed?

Ellie Phillips: Maybe the art gallery, why?

Chase McCain: I just got hold of a chicken, I can use it to glide from the art gallery's roof to the museum's!

Ellie Phillips: Wow. That is not a sentence I thought I'd hear today. Good luck, Chase! [She cuts the call]

Annoying a Security Supervisor

[Chase climbs down a rope that leads to the museum]

Chase McCain: [on screen] Don't worry about this job, Chase. [off-screen] Consider it payback for how much the gift shop charged for that dinosaur pen when you were eleven...

[Chase goes further down the rope until he is behind a Security Supervisor]

Security Supervisor: Feathers... Four letters.

Chase McCain: Hmm... Down?

Security Supervisor: No, across. [He turns around and notices Chase] Wuh!?!

[Chase and the Security Supervisor fight each other. The Security Supervisor throws Chase and presses a button to alert the other museum guards]

Does T. rex Have Anything to Do with Rex?

[Upon receiving a message from Dunby]

Marion Dunby: I just called Sherrif Huckleberry and he told me hasn't seen you in hours! Where are you?!

Chase McCain: A lead came up, Chief. And I think it points straight to Rex.

Marion Dunby: So not only have you ignored my orders, you're probably about to take something expensive again? Are you sure this is connected with Fury?

Chase McCain: Yes. Vinnie's asked me to get the museum's robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex for someone. It can't just be a coincidence!

Marion Dunby: That does sound like Fury's style... Alright, I'll let you follow this one, McCain. But if it doesn't lead to Fury, then that T. rex won't be the only extinct thing around here... [He cuts the call]

Exploring the Museum

[If the player uses the control panel near the Formula 1]

Male Computer: This car holds the world speed record. When it was being flown from the factory, it fell out the back of the plane, reaching a terminal velocity of five hundred miles an hour.

[After making Formula 1 go at full speed]

Chase McCain: Whoa! I can't believe I almost got ran over in a museum!

[If the player uses the control panel near the locomotive]

Male Computer: This steam locomotive was unveiled at the opening of LEGO City's very first train station. It wasn't used until two years later, when a second station was finally built.

[If the player uses the control panel near the pirate ship]

Male Computer: This pirate ship was painstakingly reconstructed from eight-hundred and forty-three pieces dredged up from the bottom of the ocean. There were quite a lot of bits left over, so it probably wasn't a pirate ship before.

[When going up the stairs to the third floor]

Chase McCain: The dinosaur exhibit! Great! The T. rex is bound to be in there.

[When approaching the Super Build]

Chase McCain: I've probably got enough bricks to use that Super Build now.

Searching for the T. rex

[If the player approaches the closed office on the left side]

Security Police: You can't get in here! This place is impenetrable! Can I smell burning?!

[If the player approaches the exhibit in the lower left corner]

Chase McCain: Well that certainly isn't a T. rex.

[If the player approaches the exhibit in the lower right corner]

Chase McCain: And that isn't a T. rex, either.

[If the player uses the feather to tickle the skeleton stegosaurus]

Chase McCain: Coochy-coochy-coo-coo!

[If the player uses the control panel near the stegosaurus]

Male Computer: This mighty dinosaur has a series of blade-like bones running along its back. Some scientists think it may have been used as a tool by bigger dinosaurs to cut bread.

[If the player approaches the exhibit on the left side of the first floor]

Chase McCain: Where's the T. rex? If I ran this place it'd right in the middle. Being all "Raaargh!".

[If the player approaches the exhibit on the right side of the first floor]

Chase McCain: Ooh, an ancient Jurassic period box.

[When approaching the Super Build]

Chase McCain: I've got enough bricks to build that T. rex, now.

[If the player takes a long time to build the T. rex]

Chase McCain: I've found a lot of Super Bricks. Maybe there's something I can build around here? Hey! I can use them to build a T. rex! That is lucky...

[If the player uses the control panel near Robin Hood]

Male Computer: This diorama depicts Robin Hood's less popular cousin, Robbing Hoodlum. While he also stole from the rich, he never really got around to giving to the poor. Probably because he was too busy stealing from them, too.

[If the player completes the Bullseye minigame]

Chase McCain: Yes! Bullseye!

[As the Caveman hits a gray part of the spinning wheel]

Caveman: Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! Uuugh!

[If the player completes the Prehistoric minigame]

Chase McCain: Hey! I just reinvented the wheel!

[If the player uses the control panel near the Egyptian exhibit]

Male Computer: This Sphinx is an exact copy of the one found near the pyramids, except with some of the missing details restored. When we asked museum visitors to vote on whether ours was better than the original, it won by a nose.

[If the player starts the Egyptian minigame]

Chase McCain: I hope this mummy's tomb isn't cursed...

T. rex in the City

[The T. rex comes out of the museum windows and the citizens scream for danger]

Chase McCain: That's right, Chase. Keep it low-key.

[The level ends]

Escorting the T. rex

[Stealing the T. rex, Chase calls Vinnie]

Chase McCain: I got the T. rex out of the museum. D'you want me to take it to your private buyer?

Vinnie Pappalardo: Nah, he don't want anyone meeting him but me. I'll send you the location of the drop-off.

Chase McCain: Okay, Vinnie.

Vinnie Pappalardo: Hey, I know you're eager, Chasey, but this guy's bad news.

Chase McCain: Tell me about it...

Vinnie Pappalardo: Sure. He's real impatient, like he needs all this stuff yesterday. This whole business has changed, time was you took stuff to make a profit, but this feels different. Like there's something bigger goin' on. Listen to me, goin' on like my mother. Just drop off the T. rex. [He cuts the call]

Does Rex Have My Father?

[Upon receiving a message from Natalia]

Natalia Kowalski: Hey Chase, are you busy?

Chase McCain: Well I'm kinda -

Natalia Kowalski: Great, are you getting close to finding my dad?

Chase McCain: Uh, yeah. I'm on a job for a guy who I'm sure is working for Rex. Once I find Rex, I think I'll find your dad.

Natalia Kowalski: You really think Rex has my dad? Is it because I testified against him?

Chase McCain: Rex's the kingpin, he must have something to do with your dad's disappearance. Uh, but I don't think it's because of your testimony. If it was, he'd just grab you, right? That's what I'd do.

Natalia Kowalski: What?

Chase McCain: Y'know, if I was evil. Which I'm not.

Natalia Kowalski: So what's Rex's connection to my dad?

Chase McCain: I don't know. But once I do know something, I'll call you.

Natalia Kowalski: Thanks, Chase. [She cuts the call]

One More Job for Vinnie

[After escorting the T. rex, Chase calls Vinnie]

Chase McCain: The T. rex is at the drop-off point, Vinnie.

Vinnie Pappalardo: That's great! Just one more job and I can get my payment and wave goodbye my private buyer. The creep.

Chase McCain: You're gonna meet him? I don't envy you, he sounds mean.

Vinnie Pappalardo: Yeah, some people - they ain't like us, Chasey. They don't have class.

Chase McCain: D'you need help with this job, then?

Vinnie Pappalardo: I dunno. The other thing he wants is some boat from the fire department. I got guys who can drive it, but...

Chase McCain: What's the problem?

Vinnie Pappalardo: The keys to it are in the Fire Chief's safe. The only people who can get near to it are Firemen. Whoever does the job would have to go undercover. You reckon you could do that?

Chase McCain: Uh... Yeah. Ahem. Uh... Yeah. I mean, I've obviously never done that before, but... I think I could do it.

Vinnie Pappalardo: Then the job's yours. Thanks, Chasey. I won't forget it. [He cuts the call]

People Stealing Trees?

[As Chase heads to Festival Square, he receives a message from Frank]

Frank Honey: Hey Chase! I've got some great news!

Chase McCain: Oh, hey there, Frank. What is it?

Frank Honey: I. Have been. Promoted!

Chase McCain: Wuh? Wait, who by?

Frank Honey: Sherrif Huckleberry. He's made me head of tree-related crime.

Chase McCain: Aaah. Are people stealing a lot of trees?

Frank Honey: Not since I've taken over. So whatcha up to?

Chase McCain: Oh, the usual. Actual policework. I'm just going undercover for Vinnie as a fireman.

Frank Honey: Aren't you already undercover? So now you're undercover-undercover? Whoa...

Chase McCain: I'm going to get one of the fire department's boats for Vinnie.

Frank Honey: Oh...?

Chase McCain: And once I've taken it to Vinnie, he's gonna go see Rex. And I'll follow him.

Frank Honey: Okay, Chase. As long as you're not stealing any trees.

Chase McCain: No, Frank. Speak later.

Frank Honey: Aye-aye! Over and out! [He cuts the call]

Are You Coming to the Fire Department?

[Upon arrival at the Fire Department]

Brad Hoggle: You here to join the fire department? Head on in.

A New Recruit

[Oliver Duffy climbs a ladder, while three other firefighters carry another ladder]

Cornelius Burns: Okay, recruit. What is your name?

Chase McCain: Pete... Peterson... sir?

Cornelius Burns: Right, Pete Peterson, being a Fire Officer is all about team effort. TEAM EFFORT! Isn't that right, McGurky?

McGurky: W-what?

Cornelius Burns: Don't help him! It means knowing what your fellow officer is thinking. What's my favorite flavor of cake, Pete Peterson?

Chase McCain: Er, chocolate?

Cornelius Burns: EVEN THE NEW RECRUIT KNOWS! Ah... Well then, Pete Peterson, we'd better start your training...

[Chase begins his firefighter training by using a fire extinguisher to throw water everywhere, until Cornelius interrupts him]

Cornelius Burns: What are you doing, man? I haven't given you any instructions yet!

Chase McCain: Sorry, I got a little excited.

Cornelius Burns: Fire extinguishers are not toys! They are not to be played with! Follow me over here.

[He gets on a skateboard and rides it using the fire extinguisher instead of a leg]

Cornelius Burns: This is Officer Lopez-Delgado.

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: [Spanish] Hello!

Cornelius Burns: He'll give you your basic training. I've got to write a talk on the importance of BUYING THE RIGHT FLAVOR OF BIRTHDAY CAKE!

A Shiny New Uniform

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Alright, Pete is it? This is wonderful. First of all, we'd better get you looking like a fire officer, hadn't we, huh? There is a shiny new uniform in the middle garage. If you can get the door open...

[When approaching the yellow lever at the first door]

Chase McCain: I guess I just pull this lever?

[When opening the first door]

Chase McCain: Yeah, that would have been too easy.

[If the player approaches the second garage before painting the door]

Chase McCain: Looks like someone forgot to finish painting that garage door. That garage door would look a lot better with a lick of paint. Someone really oughta finish painting that garage door.

Starting Firefighter Training

[After getting the Fireman suit]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Well don't you look as bright as a button? Ok. We are going to start things out nice and easy. Oh no! Look! A raging inferno has erupted!

[When trying to put out the fire]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: That's great! Well done! You will be an asset to us, as there have been an unusual amount of fires of late.

[After putting out the fire]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Well done! Wait a minute! That door...is shut! [He leaves an axe on the ground] And an innocent valve handle is trapped behind it! And look here! A fire axe! Do you think you could somehow use this axe to get through that door? Don't worry, you won't get into trouble.

[If the player approaches the first Brad Hoggle]

Brad Hoggle 1: Heeeere's Petey! Haha!

[After opening the first boarded up door]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Well aren't you big and strong? Pick up the valve in there.

[When grabbing the green valve]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Gooood. Great heavens! Look! One of your soon-to-be comrades has accidentally turned their hose pressure up too high! But who could help him? Who might have some kind of... valve... Yes. Do you see where I'm going with this? Some kind of valve to lower the pressure?!

[After closing the fire hydrant]

Brad Hoggle 2: Oof!

Brad Hoggle 3: Alright! You lasted ages! That's gotta be a record!

Brad Hoggle 2: Eurgh...

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: [Spanish] Very good! [English] You made short work of that, didn't you? Let us go to the next area, shall we? What excitement could await us in there? [He runs towards the gates] Open the gates!

Saving the Firefighters

Firefighter 1: Oh no! Look!

Firefighter 2: Several of your co-workers are trapped on that building!

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Am I not a most excellent actor? Now, tell these other officers which way to carry the trampoline... ...so you can catch your stranded friends.

[If Ramon asks the savior firefighters to go to the left]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Left a bit!

[If Ramon asks the savior firefighters to go to the right]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Go right! Right! Keep going right!

[Upon arrival at a designated place]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Get ready! Stop! Wait there! Good work!

[When a firefighter in danger jumps on the trampoline]

Firefighter 1: Geronimo!

Firefighter 2: Woo-hoo!

Firefighter 3: Yaaaay!

Firefighter 4: Weee!

[When saving a firefighter]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Haha! Excellent catch! Got him! Nicely done!

[When saving the last firefighter]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: And that is the last one! Well done!

Putting Out the Fires

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Now that they are safely down, we can put out those fires up there! But they are too far and too ferocious for your own extinguisher. But not for these! [He uses a control panel to reveal two water cannons] Yes. They are impressive, are they not? Say "hello" to my massive friends! Hop on to one of them!

[When climbing one of the water cannons]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Excellent! The water cannon can squirt a lot higher than your extinguisher can.

[When putting out half of the fires]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: That is half of them. Aren't you Officer Awesome?

[After putting out the nine fires]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: And there you go! That wasn't so hard, was it?

Rescuing Pompom-Moggins

[Ramon pulls a yellow lever to open a red door and reveal a box]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Quickly! A most urgent situation has arisen!

Chase McCain: What is it?!- Oh, you're acting again, aren't you?

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Yeees. Our station mascot, Admiral Pompom-Moggins The Third, has become trapped on a ledge!

[The camera pans to Pompom-Moggins trapped on a ledge. Then it goes back to Chase and Ramon]

Chase McCain: You want me to rescue a cat?

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Oh yes, now you will truly learn what it is to be a Fire Officer in LEGO City. To rescue cats is our highest calling. Because they're usually on the top of buildings. But first, you will need some way to get up to him... Hmm...?

[If the player takes a long time to build a ladder]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Build a ladder! Go on!

[When trying to climb the ladder]

Chase McCain: I hope my training's almost finished, I've still got to get to the Fireboat. Then, once Vinnie's got the boat I can follow him to Rex...

[Upon reaching the blue walkway on the second floor]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Quickly! Hurry! It is almost time for Admiral Pompom's nap!

Chase McCain: Is this why there was a stinky fish in the pocket of my uniform?

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Yes! Also in case you get hungry.

Chase McCain: Yeuck!

[When clinging to the ceiling on the third floor]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: Admiral Pompom took over from our previous mascot, Commander Claws. And believe me, Commander Claws earned his name. He was quite the contract negotiator.

I'll Wait for You on the Chief's Birthday

[After rescuing Pompom-Moggins]

Ramon Lopez-Delgado: You saved him! Okay, well, we're all done here. I'll see you inside for the Chief's birthday party. There is lots of food!

This Place is Nice

Chase McCain: Wow! They've done this place up really nice! Huh? Maybe if we did the same for Dunby's birthday he wouldn't be such a grumpy-pants.

How is your New Job Going?

[Upon receiving a message from Vinnie]

Vinnie Pappalardo: Hey, Chasey! How you settling into your "new job"?

Chase McCain: Good, but I'm gonna have to get the Fire Chief out of his office so I can open the door to the boathouse.

Vinnie Pappalardo: I'm sure you won't disappoint me, kid. The last person who disappointed me bought the farm, y'know?

Chase McCain: You mean-?

Vinnie Pappalardo: Yeah. Even after I told him it was terrible investment. Anyway, don't sweat the Fire Chief thing. You'll figure it out, kid. Everybody has a weakness. [He cuts the call]

Will Burns Leave His Office?

[If the player approaches Weingartner before destroying his table]

Jessie Weingartner: Who would have thought being a fire fighter would involve so much paperwork!?

Charlotte Hannon: Not me! There are like a hundred different forms just for rescuing cats!

Jessie Weingartner: I know! Speaking of which, d'you have a thirty-seven-B? It's the one for short-haired tabby-cats up an oak tree.

Charlotte Hannon: Sorry, we're all out. I've got one for a long-haired, green-eyed Persian with a foul temper on top of a traffic signal if you like?

Jessie Weingartner: Nah...

[After destroying his table]

Jessie Weingartner: You think the Burns'll come out of his office again today?

Charlotte Hannon: I hope no. Last time it was just to yell at me for playing on that squirty clown thing downstairs.

[After a while]

Jessie Weingartner: You ever snuck into Burn's office?

Charlotte Hannon: Almost. I got up on top of the light fitting outside it... ...but I couldn't make the jump to his office.

Jessie Weingartner: Hmm... What if we brought in a hang glider?

Charlotte Hannon: I'd so be up for that.

What Are You Doing In My Office?

[If the player enters Burns' office while Burns is there]

Cornelius Burns: What are you doing? Get out of my office! And stay out!

[Burns takes Chase out of his office]

Chase McCain: I should probably wait until tomorrow before asking for a raise...

Helping the Firefighters

[When approaching the firefighter playing a minigame]

Firefighter 5: It's no good - I can't beat it. The heads keep spinning and I can't aim my extinguisher straight!

Firefighter 6: I had the exact same problem. Which is kinda worrying seeing as we're meant to be Fire Fighters.

Firefighter 5: Y'know, Chief Burns is such a party pooper!

Firefighter 6: Yeah! Just because we got him the wrong kind of cake...

Firefighter 5: And blew out the candle before him...

Firefighter 6: And opened some of his presents...

Firefighter 5: And congratulated him on his fiftieth birthday when he's only forty...

Firefighter 6: And got him a Mother's day card instead of a birthday one...

Firefighter 5: And got his name wrong on it.

Firefighter 6: He is so touchy.

[If the player takes too long to win the minigame]

Firefighter 5: You gotta aim for their mouths!

Firefighter 6: But only when they're facing you!

Burns Leaves His Office

[When winning the minigame]

Firefighter 5: Hey! You did it!

Firefighter 6: Aw! Well done, man!

Firefighter 5: That is outstanding!

Cornelius Burns: What's going on out there?! You people better not be enjoying yourself on my birthday! [He uses a control panel to leave his office] I better not see anyone smiling down there!

Finding the Boat

[Upon finding the green valve in the final area]

Chase McCain: Time to find this boat and sail it away.

Stealing the Boat

[Upon arriving to the side with two Vinnie Goons and the boat]

Salvatore Calzone: Hey! Chase! Over here! Pssst! Over here Chase!

Chase McCain: How did you guys get in here?!

Carlo Jerome: We swam.

Salvatore Calzone: He swam. I used the back door because I'm not a simpleton.

Chase McCain: Aw man! I just went through basic training to get in here!

Salvatore Calzone: And it's a good thing ya did, because we're stuck on this side of the fence.

Carlo Jerome: Yeah, an' we can't open that big door to get the boat outta here.

Chase McCain: Leave it to me.

Salvatore Calzone: Like we have a choice!

Carlo Jerome: Aw... I like him.

[When arriving next to Salvatore and Carlo]

Salvatore Calzone: The boss said you should get on the water cannon!

Dizzy Chase

[The fireboat leaves the fire department]

Carlo Jerome: Whatchoo think that little joystick does?

Salvatore Calzone: [off-screen] Dunno. Try movin' it.

[Carlo moves the lever, causing the water cannon to move]

Chase McCain: Whoa!

Carlo Jerome: [on screen] It don't do nothin'. [off-screen] See?

[Carlo moves the lever quickly, making the water cannon move faster]

Chase McCain: Whoa! Wey! Woooargh! Waaah!

Salvatore Calzone: Ah, jus' leave it alone then.

[Carlo stops the lever, causing the water cannon to stop moving]

Chase McCain: [Dizzy] Oooargh...

[The level ends]

Jobs with Vinnie Finished

[Chase, Salvatore, and Carlo escort the fireboat to the Grand Canal, where Vinnie is waiting for them]

Vinnie Pappalardo: Hey! Great stuff, Chasey!

Chase McCain: Ah, it was nothing.

Vinnie Pappalardo: I want you to know, you're my go to guy now. I really trust yous.

Chase McCain: Aw, thanks, Vinnie.

Vinnie Pappalardo: And now I can finally get that private buyer off my case. Time to arrange a meetin'. I'll be in touch afterwards.

[Vinnie gets on the boat and escorts it to Fresco]

Chase McCain: And all I need to do is follow you to Rex Fury. What could go wrong?

Natalia in Danger Again!

[Upon receiving a message from Natalia]

Natalia Kowalski: I told you I'd trust you to find my dad, Chase! Don't you trust me?!

Chase McCain: Wuh?! I'm kinda -

Natalia Kowalski: Look, I know you've got cops keeping tabs on me.

Chase McCain: You do? I mean, what? I haven't arranged anything like that. I have somewhere I need to go, Natalia.

Natalia Kowalski: Don't pretend, Chase. I'm at the hospital and I can see them watching me from across the road.

Chase McCain: What do they look like?

Natalia Kowalski: Uh... Well, really smartly dressed for cops. They're wearing black suits, and they're stood by an unmarked black van and...a limousine. They're not cops, are they?

Chase McCain: I don't think so.

Natalia Kowalski: I don't know the details. And he kept his cabin locked up tight because of the precious stones he was working with. What's going on, Chase?

Chase McCain: I'm not a hundred percent sure. Chan and Vinnie were working for Rex. These other guys? Maybe Rex is working for them? I'll find out. But first, I'm taking you to a friend's place. She's called Ellie. You should be safe there.

Natalia Kowalski: Thank you... Chase.

Chase McCain: Huh... Was that a nice thing you just said to me?

Natalia Kowalski: Don't push it.

Story

After doing so and learning to use the Pig Cannons, Chase receives a call from Vinnie with a job to steal a robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton. Guessing that Rex Fury wants the T. Rex skeleton, he agrees. During the process Dunby reluctantly lets Chase back on the case. After delivering the dinosaur skeleton and a fireboat (obtaining the Firefighter disguise in the meantime), Vinnie considers Chase his new right hand man and goes to meet his "private buyer".

Chase then receives a call from Natalia accusing him of having police officers watch over her. As Chase did not set that up, they both realize the black suited strangers aren't other undercover cops, so Chase rushes to the hospital to save her. Calling in a helicopter, Chase flies Natalia to Ellie's apartment, as all the safe houses are occupied by Chan's men, now selling each other out. Before they depart, Natalia apologizes to Chase for being a pain to him and that she knew that he didn't mean to reveal her identity, Chase accepts her apology.

Walkthrough

LEGO City

After completing the previous chapter, you will be in the Fort Meadows castle listening to a message from Vinnie. After listening to it, you will hear two more messages, one from Ellie and one from Hayes. Hayes tells you that you can use Pig Cannons to return the lost pigs to the Fort Meadows farm. When you're done listening to them, get off the castle, take someone else's vehicle, and follow the path of ghost studs until you reach the entrance to the Uptown museum. There, you will call Ellie, thanks to which she will tell you that you can use the chicken from the Farmer suit to glide from the roof of the art gallery to the roof of the museum. When you finish listening to the call, go to the west side of the art gallery. There, use the Farmer suit on a red pot to grow a plant that you can use as a wall. Climb it, cling under some roofs, and move along some handholds to reach a balcony. Destroy an air conditioner and slide under a gap to enter a room with ten color swappers. Of all of them, use the Robber suit in the fourth one on the left side, since it is the one with the green color. After changing the color of your Color Gun from purple to green, shoot the red panel above to change it to green and open a door. Cross it and use the Farmer suit to grow two daisies on the right. Use them as platforms and then use the awnings on the left to reach the upper roof. There, destroy three fans on poles to build a giant fan on the ground. Use it to reach a sloping roof, where you will have to quickly press the jump button on four tiles with blue and white pieces to reach a very high ledge. On the very high ledge, destroy an air conditioner to build some white and blue pieces and complete a wall. Climb the wall to reach the highest ceiling of the art gallery. There, use the Farmer suit on a Super Chicken spot to make eight green circles appear. Go through them with the chicken to reach the roof of the museum. There, climb a wall to the west and use the Undercover suit to reach a white ledge. When you reach the white ledge, jump over some poles to the right to reach a very high ledge. Before opening a door, you can go behind the wall to grab a small Super Brick, increasing your bricks by 1,000. Finally, use the Robber suit to open a door and go down a ladder to enter the museum, beginning the eighth level: The Colossal Fossil Hustle.

Special Assignment 8: The Colossal Fossil Hustle

You start in an office, where you are attacked by a Security Supervisor. Fight him and arrest him. After defeating him, go right and use the Robber suit to open a locked store. Inside that tent, you will find a yellow lever. Grab it and place it on a connector in the lower left corner. Then, pull it to open the curtains next to it, where a Formula 1 will be. Use the Undercover suit to destroy the lower part of the exhibit and make Formula 1 start to go at full speed, until it crashes into the wall on the right and is destroyed, revealing red pieces. Two guards will come to attack you. Fight them and arrest them. After defeating them, go to the place where Formula 1 was destroyed and use its parts to build a dynamite vending machine. Use the Miner suit on it to receive a dynamite. Grab the dynamite and place it in a barrel next to a silver block next to the locomotive. Move away from the dynamite and it will explode, destroying the silver block and allowing you to build a stove pipe. The stove pipe will cause the locomotive to receive smoke to go behind. After making the locomotive go behind, destroy a box in the gap next to the track to build a small cart. Push it onto a pressure plate on the right to open the bars of another gap. In the newly opened gap, destroy another box to build a ladder on top of the cart. Then, push the cart onto another pressure plate to the right to open the bars of another gap. Inside that gap, you will find a green valve. Grab it, place it on the cart and turn it to lift the stairs. Use those stairs to reach the second floor.

There, go left and destroy two engines to build a color swapper with the color green. Use it to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from purple to green. Then, use the color green to change the color of a panel from red to green. This will cause another locomotive's car to go behind. Grab a box and take it to a green pad on the left to build the missing parts of an oil pump. Use the oil pump to reach the third floor.

On the third floor, you will have to build a Yellow Devil, which will require 21,000 bricks. If you don't have the necessary bricks, look for Super Bricks. First, go to the far left of the third floor and pull a yellow lever to drop a toy submarine. Then, stand at a designated spot and press the action button to operate the toy submarine. With the toy submarine, head towards a small Super Brick and the submarine will grab it. Then, go to the designated place and pull a lever to remove the submarine from the aquarium and also leave the small Super Brick on the dock. Grab it to increase your bricks by 1,000. Then, go back to the second floor and grab a Luminous Stone in a gap next to the gap where you found the box. Return to the first floor and place the Luminous Stone in a machine next to a closed door. The machine will turn the Luminous Stone into a key. Grab the key, place it in a lock, and turn it to open the door and reveal a large Super Brick. Grab it to increase your brick count by 10,000. Then, return to the third floor and go up the stairs on the right to find another large Super Brick ahead. Grab it and you will have 10,000 more bricks. With all those Super Bricks grabbed, you should have 21,000 bricks.

Go to the multicolored pad and use the 21,000 bricks to build the Yellow Devil. The Super Build biplane will move the pirate ship to the left, lowering the ship's ladder and extending a plank. Go to the left end of the floor, go to the deck of the ship, climb the ladder to reach the top of the right mast and jump to the balcony. Then, swing on the poles to reach the other side and drop into a gap to enter the lunar exhibit room. Inside the lunar exhibit, use the Undercover suit on a question mark scanner symbol to find a rock. Grab it and place it in a basket to press a pressure plate, dropping a box and destroying it. Use the pieces from the box to build a Teleport Pad. Use the Astronaut suit on it to teleport to the laboratory exhibit room. Inside the lab exhibit, pull a yellow lever to reveal a color swapper with the color red. Then, turn two green valves until the top clock hand stops green to activate a fan. Use the fan to exit the exhibit and use the newly revealed color swapper to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from green to red. Go back to where the Super Build was and use the red color of your Color Gun to change the color of a panel from green to red. This will disable the lasers blocking the dinosaur exhibit. Go to the dinosaur exhibit to reach the next area.

In the next area, you will be attacked by three Security Police. Fight them and arrest them. After defeating them, you will need to build a T. rex, which will cost you 30,000 bricks. If you don't have the necessary bricks, look for Super Bricks. First, go to the exhibit in the lower left corner and destroy a large egg to reveal a question mark scanner symbol. Use the Undercover suit on it to find a feather in a buried trapdoor. Grab it, go to the exhibit in the lower right corner, and use the feather to tickle a skeleton stegosaurus. This will anger the Stegosaurus and destroy the office window on the right side. Defeat the Security Police in that office and grab a dynamite with the Miner suit. Place it in a barrel next to a silver door on the left side and walk away. It will explode and destroy the silver door leading to the office on the left side. Defeat the Security Police in that office and use a control panel to open the glass panels of all the exhibits on the second floor. Then, defeat two Security Police and go up the stairs to the floor where the Super Build is. From here, you can decide whether to do the left-side or right-side exhibits first.

On the right side, defeat three security police and go to the Egyptian exhibit. In that exhibit, destroy a box to build the missing part of a sphinx. Then, use a gray control panel to start a minigame. In it, use two control panels and have both spinning machines display the symbol shown above the Sphinx's legs to open a tomb, revealing a large Super Brick. (The symbols can be random.) Grab it to increase your count by 10,000 bricks. Next, head to the Native American exhibit. In that exhibit, use a gray control panel to start another minigame. In it, three totems will spin and then stop. Make sure that one of the totems matches the ones in the pictures behind. If so, step on the pressure plate next to the matching totem to make it turn green. Repeat this with all three totems and a large Super Brick will appear. Grab it to have 10,000 more bricks.

After you have those two large Super Bricks, go to the upper floor on the left side. There, defeat a Security Police and go to the Robin Hood exhibit. In that exhibit, destroy a box and build a Forestman. Then, use the gray panel on that exhibit to play a minigame. In said minigame, press the attack button when the target is near the Forestman's point to hit it and reveal a large Super Brick. Grab it to have 10,000 more bricks. Next, head to the Prehistoric exhibition. In that exhibit, destroy a box to build a Caveman. Then, use the gray control panel on that exhibit to play one more minigame. In said minigame, press the attack button in synchronization so that the Caveman hits the four gray parts of a spinning wheel. Doing this will cause a Super Brick to appear on top of the spinning wheel. Grab it and you'll have another 10,000 more. With those four large Super Bricks grabbed, you should have 40,000 bricks. Finally, go to the multicolored pad in the northern exhibit and use the 40,000 bricks to build a T. rex. Get on the T. rex to finish the level.

LEGO City (Again)

When you return to LEGO City, you will ride a T. rex. You will hear a message from Vinnie, telling you to take it to the drop-off point at LEGO City Airport. After listening to it, you will hear another message, this time from Natalia. She will tell you if Rex has her father, Henrik. After listening to both messages, follow the path of ghost studs, which will take you to the drop-off point. As you go down the road, you will be attacked by police cars. You can destroy them in three ways: stomp on them by walking on them, roar at them with the action button, or ground stomp them with the attack button. Take it to the drop-off point, where Chase will store it. After escorting it, you'll hear another message from Vinnie, telling you that he has one more job: steal a fire department boat. Take someone else's vehicle and follow the path of ghost studs until you reach the fire department in Festival Square, where you will begin the ninth level: Hot Property.

Special Assignment 9: Hot Property

You start in the first zone of ​​the fire department parking lot. Ramon Lopez-Delgado will tell you that you will have to look like a firefighter and, to do this, there will be a new uniform inside the second garage. To open that garage, pull the yellow lever near the starting point to open the first garage. Inside the first garage, destroy a large box to build a space box. Use the Astronaut suit to open it and reveal some bricks inside the third garage. Use them to build a color swapper with the color red. Use it to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from purple to red. Use the red color from your Color Gun to paint the missing parts of the second garage door and activate a yellow lever nearby. Pull it to open the second garage door. Inside the second garage, open a closet to unlock Chase McCain (Fireman). Ramon will call you and tell you that there is a fire next to him. Use the Fireman suit to put it out and Ramon will give you an axe. Grab it and you can use it to open boarded up doors with the Fireman suit. You will see that Brad Hoggle will allow you to open a boarded up door. Approach it and use the Fireman suit's axe to open it and find a green valve. Grab the green valve and you'll see that two more Brads will have trouble with a fire hydrant. Place the green valve on the fire hydrant and turn it to close the fire hydrant, also stopping the madness of the two Brads. After this, Ramon will open the gates to the next zone.

In the next zone, go to the designated spot to play a minigame. In said minigame, you have to signal four firefighters to go to one side to save one of the four firefighters in danger. Ramon will tell you where the firefighters should go, to the left or to the right. Have the firefighters go to the designated location and when they are there, have them stop and wait for the firefighter in distress to jump onto the trampoline. Repeat this with the four firefighters and when they are all safe, you will have to put out the fire in the building. The fires are too far away for your extinguisher, so Ramon will use a control panel to reveal two water cannons. Get on one of them. Using the water cannons, aim at one of the fires and hold down the attack button to shoot water at them. There are a total of nine fires. With one water cannon, you can only put out eight, so you'll have to get on the other cannon to put out the remaining fire. After putting out all nine fires, you will have to rescue a cat named Pompom-Moggins. To do this, Ramon will pull a yellow lever to open a red door and reveal a box. Grab the box and place it on a green pad to the right to build a ladder. Climb it to reach the first floor of the building, go left, jump from a window to reach a scaffolding platform, and use a trampoline to reach the second floor. There, use the Fireman suit to open a boarded up door, walk on a blue walkway to get to the other side, and open another boarded up door with the Fireman suit. When you reach the other side, jump to the roof on the right, move across some drain pipes to reach the third floor, and use the Fireman suit again to open one more boarded up door. In the room behind that newly opened door, you'll find a dynamite vending machine. Use the Miner suit on it to receive a dynamite. Grab it and place it in a barrel next to a silver wall. Move away from the dynamite and it will explode, allowing you to cling to a roof to reach the other side of the third floor. When you reach the other side, use the Fireman suit to open another boarded up door and use the Undercover suit to go down a ladder that will take you to the upper roof of the building. There, destroy a brown box to reveal a designated point. Stand on it and press the action button to drive an RC car with dynamite. With the RC car with dynamite, drive it under a gap and take it to the silver posts to destroy them and make a water tank destroy a gate. Go towards Pompom-Moggins, stand at the designated spot and use the Fireman suit on it to make Pompom smell like fish. Chase will grab Pompom and put him in his helmet. After rescuing him, Ramon will thank you and open the door to the fire department. Go through the newly opened door to reach the next area.

In the next area, you will hear a message from Vinnie. After listening to it, go left and go up the stairs to the second floor. There, destroy three black chairs on the right side to reveal a question mark scanner symbol. Use the Undercover suit on it to find a key in the drawers on the left side. Grab it and use it to open the door next to you. In the office behind that door, destroy a pile of gifts to build a blue trampoline. Use it to reach the top of a ledge and then jump across the lamps to one that is far from Burns' office. Use the Farmer suit to cross the gap and reach the roof of Burns' office. There, use the Robber suit to open a trap door to Burns' office. However, since Burns is inside his office, if you enter when he is in his office, he will take you outside. To get him out of his office, go back to the bottom floor and approach a firefighter playing a minigame. He'll tell you that he and his partner can't complete their minigame, so you'll have to help them. Use the Fireman suit to play the minigame. In 1 minute and 30 seconds, you will have to shoot the fire extinguisher in the faces of five clowns (in continuous fire) to inflate the balloons above their heads. The balloons inflate slowly and only when the faces are turned towards you. After winning the minigame, Burns will leave his office and go play the minigame. Repeat the entire path you took to enter Burns' office and when you're inside, Burns won't notice you or take you out. Use a control panel to open the office door and then use the Robber suit to open a safe and find a key. Grab the key, place it in the lock on the right side of the first floor and turn it to open the door to the basement of the fire department. Stand at the designated point and press the action button to climb down a pole and reach the final area.

In the final area, go right and destroy a coat rack to reveal a question mark scanner symbol. Use the Undercover suit on it to find a green valve inside a refrigerator. Grab it, connect it to the lift and twist it to raise the lift. Swing on the blue post on the right to cross the bars. On the other side, destroy a large box to build a space box. Use the Astronaut suit on it to reveal a dynamite vending machine. Use the Miner suit on it to receive a dynamite. Grab it, go left and use the Robber suit to open a door that will take you back to the main side. Back on the main side, place the dynamite in a barrel next to a silver door and walk away until it explodes. When it explodes, it will destroy the silver door, allowing you to use a color swapper to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from purple to red. Go back to the other side and use the red color of your Color Gun to change the color of a panel from green to red. This will disable the fans above, also revealing a Super Chicken point on the platform to the left. Go back to the elevator, raise it again, and swing on the blue pole again to return to the platform with the Super Chicken point. While you have to use the Super Chicken point, it is not necessary, as you can cross the two gaps with the chicken in the Farmer suit without using the Super Chicken point. Crossing to the other side, you'll meet Salvatore Calzone and Carlo Jerome, who tell you that they can't open the big door to get out of the fire department, so they're trapped. Destroy the blue and white boats to build a blue and white catapult. Use it to get to the other side of the water. There, use the red color of your Robber suit's Color Gun to change the color of another panel from green to red. This will deactivate the power that immobilizes a door. Go back to the other side and use the Robber suit's crowbar to open it and join your companions. Salvatore will tell you that you can use the boat's water cannon to open the big door. Hop on the water cannon and use it to fill the small tank to the left of the big door. This will open the big door, ending the level.

LEGO City (3rd Time)

Upon returning to LEGO City, you will see a cutscene where Chase, Salvatore and Carlo will escort the fireboat to the Grand Canal, where Vinnie was waiting for them. Vinnie will then escort the fireboat to Fresco. After escorting the boat, you will hear a message from Natalia, telling you that she is in the hospital in Festival Square, but as she speaks, she is captured by Sentinels. Hop on the nearby boat and follow the path leading out of the Grand Canal. Then, go left after leaving the stream at Pagoda and go to the pier located in Festival Square. Exit the boat, follow the path ahead and go up the stairs on the right. Then, head to the designated place near the hospital and you will see a cutscene of a route you need to take to get to Natalia. First, go to the garage entrance on the west side and use the Fireman suit to put out the fire blocking the entrance. Fight and arrest the three Sentinels you find in that room. After defeating them, use the Robber suit to open a safe on the right and find a key card. Grab it and use it on the terminal on the left to open an elevator, where you will find a large Super Brick that is impossible to avoid. Enter it to reach the second floor, with the large Super Brick that will give you 10,000 bricks.

On the second floor, fight and arrest two Sentinels who attack you. After defeating them, use the Miner suit on a dynamite vending machine to receive dynamite. Grab it and head into the hallway on the right, where you'll find more fire blocking your path. Put them out with the Fireman suit and place the dynamite you grabbed with the Miner suit in a barrel next to a silver glass wall. Move away from the dynamite and it will explode, destroying the silver glass wall. Exit through the destroyed wall, put out more fire with the Fireman suit to build a red pot, and use the Farmer suit on it to grow a plant that will grow very large. Before climbing that plant, you can go along the walkway in the lower right corner to find a small Super Brick, increasing your bricks by 1,000. After collecting it, climb the plant you grew to reach the third floor.

On the third floor, fight and arrest three Sentinels who attack you. After defeating them, go to the lower right corner and use the Fireman suit to put out more fire blocking your path. However, you won't be able to cross the hallway, as there is a fan that forces you back to the second floor. To turn it off, walk along the blue walkway on the left to reach the roof on the far left, and fight two Sentinels and arrest them. After defeating them, use the Fireman suit to put out three flames surrounding a trapdoor and use the Robber suit to open it and enter a room on the second floor. There, destroy a red couch to get a large Super Brick (increasing your bricks by 10,000) and use a color swapper to change the color of your Color Gun from purple to red. After changing the color of your Color Gun, use your crowbar to open a door and repeat the entire route you took to reach the hallway where the fan is. Returning to the hallway with the fan, use the red color of your Color Gun to change the color of a panel from green to red. This will turn off the fan. Cross two obstacles, change the green color of another panel to red to turn off another fan, and use the Fireman suit to put out more fire blocking your path. Fight and arrest two more Sentinels. You will see that Natalia is on a roof that you cannot reach by climbing up, but you can reach that roof from the highest roof of the hospital. Chase will call Ellie, saying that since the safe houses are occupied by Chan Goons, her apartment is the only safe place for Natalia. Use the Fireman suit to open a boarded up door and use the Astronaut suit on a Teleport Pad to teleport to the hallway on the left. There, go right and use a color swapper to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from red to blue. Use the Astronaut suit on the Teleport Pad again to return to where you were and use the blue color from your Robber suit's Color Gun to paint three white walls in blue. Climb them to reach the fourth floor.

On the fourth floor, use the Fireman suit to open a boarded up door and walk along a blue walkway until you reach the roof on the left. There, climb two handholds and climb through a niche of two blue and white walls until you reach the highest roof of the hospital. On the highest roof of the hospital, fight and arrest three Sentinels and three more will arrive. Fight them and arrest them. After defeating them, use the Farmer suit on a Super Chicken point to make five green circles appear. Cross through them with the chicken to reach Natalia, who will cling to Chase and they will land in a place with a Super Build. You will need 20,000 bricks to build a Helipad. With those three Super Bricks you collected during your rescue of Natalia, you should have 21,000 bricks. When you have 20,000 bricks, use them to build a Helipad. After building the Helipad, you will unlock Helipads, allowing you to build Helipads so you can ride aerial vehicles. Go to the Helipad control panel and call a Swooper. Natalia will get on it. Get on it and you'll have to escort Natalia to Ellie's apartment in Bright Lights Plaza. Ascend into the sky and head towards the helipad located at Ellie's apartment in Bright Lights Plaza. When you fly over that building's helipad, press the alternate attack button to land on it and play a cutscene. When the cutscene ends, you will have completed this chapter, beginning the eleventh chapter: The Proof of the Pudding is in the Meeting.
