Arctic World is the tenth villain level in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Batman: The Videogame. It is the fifth and final villain level of Power-Crazed Penguin.

Story

As they attempt to return to their secret base to begin their plan, they realize that a police blockade has guarded the entrance. The villain duo defeat the police blockade and explore their secret base to activate the machine. Finally, with the antenna and the diamond, they manage to activate the machine, creating several Penguin Minions. The Penguin sends his Penguin Minions to threaten Gotham City, only for Batman and Robin to arrive later.

Walkthrough

You start at the entrance to the Penguin's secret cave. Two police officers will notice you. Defeat them and you will have to turn two red lights into green. To make the right red light turn green, you will have to place three blue bricks on a build-it machine on the right. The first blue brick you will find in the center, near the doors. Grab it and place it in the build-it machine. The second blue brick can be found inside a small white box south of the build-it machine. Destroy the small box to reveal the brick. Grab it too and place it in the build-it machine. To find the third blue brick, build a grapple point in the lower left corner and use it with Catwoman. Then destroy a white box to reveal this brick. Grab it, drop off the ledge and place the brick into the build-it machine. By placing the three blue bricks in the build-it machine, you can build a hatch. Enter it with the Penguin and build the head of the right penguin statue so that the right red light turns green. To make the left red light turn green, use Catwoman to jump to the ledge in the upper left corner and build the head of the left penguin statue. This will cause the left red light to turn green. With the two green lights, the front doors will open. Go through the newly opened passage to reach the next area.

In the next area, go right and use a Villain Panel to build a grapple point. Use Catwoman on it to reach the ledge above, build a lever and pull it to build a ladder for the Penguin. Have both characters step on two buttons to extend four buttons to the right and form a bridge. Cross the bridge, destroy a gray box to build a hatch and enter it with the Penguin to reach the platform above. On that platform, build a lever and pull it to make the waterfall on the right disappear. Jump across the next two ledges on the right, enter a hatch with the Penguin, and push a crate to the edge so Catwoman can use it to climb up to the high ledge. Have both characters step on two buttons to open the door that will take you to the next area.

In the next area, you will need to get four red lights to turn green. This will cause the meter to rotate until it is facing left. For the first red light, go north, build a lever and pull it. This will ignite an ice burst, causing the meter to spin up a bit. Use the Penguin from a ledge in the foreground to glide to the left ledge. On that ledge, build a tightrope for Catwoman to cross the icy water. Build another lever and pull it to turn the second red light green, turning on another ice burst and causing the meter to spin slightly to the left. Since the two levers on the lower floor are pulled, you will have to pull the ones on the upper floor. Build a hatch in the lower left corner, enter it with the Penguin and push a box to knock it down and build a grapple point for Catwoman. Use Catwoman on another grapple point to reach the upper floor, build a lever in the upper left corner and pull it. This will cause the third red light to turn green, igniting another ice burst and turning the meter further to the left. To get the Penguin to the upper floor, quickly step on eight buttons in the lower right corner to build a hatch on the lower floor. Enter it with the Penguin, stand on a ledge and glide to the platform on the right. On that platform, destroy a gray box to build a lever and pull it to make the fourth red light turn green. This will ignite the final ice burst, causing the meter to face left. The four ice bursts will freeze the water and the front door will open. Go back downstairs and go through the newly opened door to reach the final area.

In the final area, go south, build a box on the left, and push it into the slot in front. This will extend two platforms to the right to form a bridge. Cross the newly formed bridge, build a hatch and enter it with the Penguin. Then, push an ice cube to the left to knock it down and build a grapple point for Catwoman. Before using the grapple point, two Security Guards will come from the left. Defeat them and use the grapple point to carry Catwoman to the ledge. Then, use another grapple point on the right to knock down another ice cube and build a tightrope. Walk along it, jump to the ledge on the left and have both characters step on a large button to lower an elevator. Have both characters step on two buttons on the elevator to raise it back up. Then, have both of them pull two levers to attach a head to the giant penguin statue, extending a platform. Go back to the left ledge, go to the top of the head and jump to the walkway on the left (Catwoman is recommended if the Penguin can't make it). On that walkway, build a lever and pull it to open a door. Go through it to finish the level.

Collectables

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

• Minikit Canisters
  1. (F) Find three Riddler tokens throughout the level to get this minikit:
     1. At the start of the second area, destroy a stack of white boxes to the left of the entrance to reveal this Riddler token.
     2. On the right side of the lower floor of the third area, use an explosive character to destroy a small red box in the lower right corner and reveal this Riddler token.
     3. On the first high ledge in the final area, destroy a white box to the south to reveal this Riddler token.
  2. (F) On the ledge where the waterfall was in the second area, you'll find a pair of golden handles. Pull them with a character with super strength to destroy a wall and reveal a gold door. Use the Gold Key on it to reveal a white box on the ledge to the right. Jump to the ledge on the right and destroy the white box to reveal this minikit.
  3. (F) On the left side of the upper floor of the third area, use the Gold Key on a gold door to build a hatch. Enter it with a small character to reach the highest floor. On that floor, go right and then walk south on a walkway. In the south corner of that walkway, use an explosive character to destroy a red box and reveal this minikit.
  4. (F) On the first high ledge in the final area, use the Gold Key on a gold door in the upper left corner to build this minikit and obtain it.
  5. (F) On the first high ledge in the final area, go down a ladder in the lower right corner to reach an island. On that island, use the Gold Key on another gold door to raise a platform with pieces on it. Jump onto that platform and use the pieces to build this grapple point. Use it with a character with grappling hook to reach a high ledge and enter a cave to reach a special area. In that special area, step on a button on the left to make a snowball gun shoot a snowball. Said snowball gun must hit one of the four penguins passing by in the background. It is recommended to stand on the button for the gun to fire continuously as it may work. Shooting the four penguins in the background will reveal this minikit in the center of the area.

• Score x6 Red Power Brick
  • (F) Note: This Red Power Brick can also be obtained on the hero side of this level. On the left ledge of the first area, use a character with super strength to pull a pair of golden handles and reveal a red box. Destroy it with an explosive character to build a grapple point and use it with a character with grappling hook to reach the higher ledge. On that ledge, quickly press four buttons from left to right to open the bars with this Red Power Brick.

• The Penguin Joker Card
  • (S) On the ledge to the left of the waterfall in the second area, jump down in the foreground to reach a lower ledge. On that ledge, have both characters step on two buttons to reveal this Joker Card. To return to the far left, build a wall button and press it to raise two platforms to the left. Jump across those platforms to return to the far left.

• Ventriloquist and Scarface
  • While playing this level in Villain Hunt mode, you will find this character at the door that leads you to the final area.

Unlockables

After completing the level, you unlock Tim Drake. In the Batcave you can buy Bruce Wayne, Nightwing and Dick Grayson. After collecting the Red Power Brick, you can purchase Score x6. After finding Ventriloquist and Scarface in Villain Hunt mode, you can purchase him in the Batcave.
