Alan Grant is a character from the Jurassic Park franchise who appears in LEGO Jurassic World. He is one of the main characters of the game, appearing as the protagonist of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III stories. Grant is a paleontologist who was sent to Jurassic Park to certify it after a safety incident.

LEGO Jurassic World

Alan Grant first appears as playable in the first level of the game, Prologue. He is then playable throughout the rest of Jurassic Park, then reappears as playable in the Jurassic Park III storyline. There are five variants of Alan Grant in the game.

Origin

Source Material

Alan Grant first appears in the 1990 novel Jurassic Park. He then appears in the 1993 film of the same name, where he is portrayed by Sam Neill. Neill reprises his role as Grant in Jurassic Park III (2001) and later in Jurassic World Dominion (2022).

Toys

Alan Grant's first appearance as a LEGO minifigure was in LEGO Jurassic World. He later debuted as a physical minifigure in 2018.
