A Poisonous Appointment is the fourth hero level of LEGO Batman: The Videogame. It is the fourth hero level of The Riddler's Revenge.

Opening Biography[]

Pamela Lillian Isley, AKA Poison Ivy, adores

plants and uses plant-based toxins in her

criminal activities. Her athletic build

gives her the ability to jump extra high, and

she can create new minions with her mutated

seeds.

Story[]

Batman and Robin went to the Batcave to find out where that leaf came from. Batman then puts it in the Batcomputer and they discover that it came from the Botanic Gardens. The heroes then go there and fight the monster plants until they come across Poison Ivy. They then defeat her and Robin tries to forgive her, but she then gets up and hypnotizes him, but Batman throws a Batarang at her to knock her unconscious. The Riddler tries to escape using a flowerpot, but Batman discovers him and escapes with Two-Face's truck already rebuilt and leaves behind another box. Robin loses the hypnotization and he pays the Riddler for it. The cops then take Poison Ivy to Arkham Asylum while she is unconscious.

Walkthrough[]

You start outside the Botanical Gardens. Destroy the second lower level garden to build a bulldozer and drive it to destroy a silver fountain. Build a Batman panel to reveal the Sonic Suit, then suit up as Batman. Destroy the windows and glass doors to proceed to the next area.

In the next area, destroy some glass tubes to remove some plants that are blocking your way. Destroy other glass tubes to remove some plants that prevent you from entering a room, then destroy all the objects in that area to build a Robin panel. Put on the Attract Suit as Robin and break most objects to attract 25 pieces, then put them in an attracting machine to build a bomb that will defeat a plant. Go into the next area.

In the next area, break a lock with a Batarang to use a ladder. Destroy a glass to build a Batman panel, then swap Batman's Sonic Suit for the Heat Protection Suit. Carefully go through the gap and use the Heat Protection Suit to land on a hot mechanism and build a rope, then proceed to the next area.

In the next area, break most objects to attract pieces with Robin's Attract Suit. Then put the pieces in an attracting machine to build a door that will open. Destroy all the glasses you see on a piece of furniture in front to build flowers. Step on them so that some flowers appear on an acid and use them as platforms. Destroy two pots to build a mechanism and push it to go to the final fight of the level.

In the fight against Poison Ivy, build a bomb to defeat the plant where she is and she will go to another plant. Defeat the other two plants to finish her off and finish the level.

Collectables[]

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

Minikit Canisters
1. (S) Build carrots in the first upper garden and destroy all of them to reveal this minikit.
2. (F) Use a bulldozer to get on a platform and use a high-jump character to reach this minikit.
3. (F) Use Batman or Batgirl in the Heat Protection Suit to pass a hot light and pull a lever to turn it off. Build some sunflowers and water the ones on the left to reveal this minikit.
4. (F) Use a character with super strength to push a large piece of furniture, then jump between flowers to get to this minikit.
5. (S) Destroy a flower garden at the end of the second area, then build a flower pot and use the leaves on it as a springboard to get to this minikit.
6. (F) Use Robin in the Water Suit, Nightwing in the same suit, or Killer Croc to dive down and get to this minikit.
7. (F) Use a high-jump character to get to a cliff and switch to Robin or Nightwing with the Magnet Suit to get to a cabin. Use Batman or Batgirl in the Demolition Suit to blast some silver objects and build a mechanism, then push it to open the lid and get this minikit.
8. (S) Destroy three carrots to reveal this minikit:
  1. In a white flower pot in the second area.
  2. Near the plant well.
  3. Destroying some tubes in the penultimate area of the level.
9. (S) Located in the penultimate area in a tunnel.
10. (S) When you are on the second flower like platform, grab the handholds without falling into the acid to reach this minikit.

Flaming Batarang Red Brick
- (F) Fill three glasses: one by pulling a lever, another by pulling another lever after building it for destroying a silver object with a character with explosives, and another by using the Joker or his tropical version on a machine. After all three are filled the red brick will be yours.

Civilian in Peril
- (S) It is near one of the crystal tubes needed to make some plants disappear.

Unlockables[]

The minikit model in this level is a Two-Face's Armored Truck. After completing the level, you unlock Batman (Sonic Suit) (unless you have completed Zoo's Company or Little Fun at the Big Top), Batman (Heat Protection Suit) and Robin (Attract Suit) (unless you have completed Joker's Home Turf). In the Batcave you can buy a Poison Ivy Goon. You will also be able to continue to The Face-Off. After collecting the Red Brick, you can purchase Flaming Batarang.
